I can't argue in favor of DDG anymore...He can not be trusted to man the post considering how EtH wants us to play.

Patrick forget about how ETH want to play. DDG is the worst GK in EPL currently, tell me any GK he is better than? Every team we have played over time have their GK showing enviable attributes that DDG will dream of. You guys keep defending him and bringing up useless sentimental tripes. DDG is not a modern GK and lacks too many traits to be an EPL GK let alone in a top club. He has refused to evolve and improve himself. Even if spainish national team needed 10 GKs DDG will never be selected. Someone that Kepa was benching at some point.
Yesterday: first goal and absolute howler, he has committed these mistakes over and over again yet no one is paying attention. DDG has cost us a top 4 spot on his own with these sorts of howlers.

Second goal: very poor ball-playing ability, every single GK in the EPL is better than DDG in this aspect bar none.

3rd goal, he can command his area, since fergie bought his he cant improve he has cost us titles, top 4 and important games with his inability to command his area and claim crosses.

4th: No sweeping ability, any sensible GK will clearly see that Toney will square the ball to Mbuemo, yet DDG was rooted in his goal and allowed mbuemo a free run at the post.

Last week the second goal for Brighton, the ball literally passed in front of him he did not claim it allowing Gross to finish at the far post, thats disgraceful.
I dont know what you mean ETH style, DDG belongs to League 1 style or segunda liga. Only a foolish board/DDG will renew DDG contract in 2019 let alone the money he is being paid.

At what point are we going to depart from DDG era? Is not clear that he is struggling. First he couldn't deliver his pass well, again he couldn't come out to claim a ball that passed his from. If we continue in this sentiments we will keep losing points
