Sancho starts seasons slowly and gradually gets into his strides, and I think this is what is happening now. But the issue is, will united be patient enough to allow him to settle, considering our attacking options? EPL defences are more organised than that of Bundesliga, as i pointed out before he might struggle in such situations. As for your bet Sancho should surely outperform him, but I doubt he will get the patience to do that?

We are saying the same thing, Bruno needs to take more withdrawn position for now, thats the reason why we need a solid DM to allow him freedom to join the attack occasionally especially against lower opposition

Cementing a DM position at West Ham and at Man Utd are 2 different things. West Ham can lose 2 straight games 4-0 and the heavens won't fall.
DM and CB are the 2 outfield positions that require the highest levels of understanding, reading of the game, focus, consistency.

If we switch to 4-3-3 with single DM then Bruno has to work extra hard to keep his place in the team. The others are more natural CMs than him and i would take Pogba over Bruno in CM.

That DM we didnt asdress this summer might end up haunting us, I just pray one of Fred/Mctominay just pick form this season

Bruno mustn't be a CM in a 4-3-3 with a single DM. Except we will play with 4 attackers, or 2 CMs. Bruno is the AM with a solid DM and CM, Bruno is the only player to slot into that AM like Muller. A big team like united need an attacking Midfielder that is always among the goals, eg Paul Scholes yes Ronaldo will make us more dangerous but Bruno scored 28 goals last season stifling that is not the best

But by next season, we probably would have lost the EPL, Ronaldo would be a year older at 37, martial would still be ice cold and OGS would not have learnt anything.

None of the ones you mentioned is a DM. That position requires lots of nous and experience and not just talent or potential.

Garner had a poor 1st half of 2020-2021 season on loan and a good 2nd half. Let’s see what he does this season on loan. The only thing is I would have preferred him going on loan in the EPL.

Looking at our senior options at DM if we intend to move to a single DM 4-3-3 then the interim fix sadly has to be McTom. He is not a DM but at least he has the legs that Matic does not have and the size and physicality that Fred does not have.

We can then address the DM question in January or at the end of the season.

I was thinking Garner will get an EPL loan this season to see his game, I watched Declan Rice cement a DM place in west ham in 18/19 season, he was 19 .That our DM position needs filling and quick, our last 2 games was an eyesore, we may drop vital points. Ronaldo might not accept that kind of performance going forward.

Considering our attacking options, it has to be a single DM and if Bruno will have to drop deep to accommodate the attacking options, we actually need a very disciplined player in the DM position because Bruno will always have the urge to push forward.

Unpopular opinion but if i am Ole,I will prepare James Garner to take over the DM position and trust him with it . Mount, James, Saka, Smith-Rowe, James Justin of Leicester all these players came up from loan and bagged important team roles in their teams. And the lad is 20 thats not much of a young age if you ask me.

I dont know but from what I see in matches, Luke Shaw takes most long free kicks and Corners from left. Infact Mata have taken 2 right sided corners we used in scoring while Bruno was in pitch. and Bruno score 2 goals off right sided corners in UCL so obviously he didn't take those ones. We only scored 2 direct free kicks, 1 from Pogba 1 from Bruno

My issues is you are saying Bruno takes all set pieces when infact he doesnt even take all, he even rarely takes free kicks and corners. Bruno is even better than Ronaldo in free kicks and PK, but Ronaldo can have them. But sounding as if Bruno is holding onto those set plays as his birhtright sound like an agenda.

Bruno was taking all last season. Pk, Ck, Fk - long and short. Before him it was Rashford. Ronaldo won't be taking corner kicks, that's for sure. Shaw and Greenwood gonna be doing that.

It is not true, watch carefully, Luke Shaw takes ALL i mean all corner kicks from the Left and many people not only bruno takes those from the right. Long free kicks Luke shaw takes almost all, even short free kicks Bruno takes most but not all, even those he is better than other in it. The only setpiece he takes exclusively are PKs and thats because we are ussually in tight corners in matches.
