Ammishaddai: This generation of girls will never hear , and I pray that more become victims so that the generation following will become wiser by force.
Two days ago something similar happened , yet the fear of God and Yahoo boys didn't come into the mind of most of these girls .
And from the little information I have been able to gather, I got to discover that most of these girls who enter into the hands of ritualist and Yahoo boys are not even the fulltime oloshos we see walking and hustling on the streets. Instead, they are just lazy girls that want high standards of living without paying the price for it . The full time Oloshos know the Yahoo plus guy. Dem sabi themselves. |

Dagger111: Please explain further sir. You are biting the bush. If they hide their faces because of social media policy, atleast we know that some Nigerian Army has violated their social media policy. If the society can't call out the individuals then the whole institution will be held responsible. And I don't want to start talking about Animal rights and their activists, but the truth is, they have violated social media right as individual and as an entity they represented. In a sane clime, it's now up to the army to fish them out and sanction those involved, lest the whole violation will be healed on the entire institution. I don't know their face, so i will simply say Nigerian Army killed a snake. There professional snake catchers they could have employed. They snake can then be taking to a zoo. But the truth is, the Nigerian blood in them always want to kill anything that comes. |

I saw one man yesterday driving a luxurious Benz open up his window and throw a bottle of coke on the road after drinking. I swear, I feel like picking a stone and smash his windscreen for this act.
On a daily basis I see this, and it makes me to hate some Nigerians. This kind of culture will not make Nigeria to look like any of the pictures you post here.
Unless we cultivate very good social attitude and everyone is responsible to making the society clean, we will never have Nigeria like any of those pictures.
I've taking a bottle of water all the way from Ojuelegba to Iyana-Ipaja just because I was looking for a proper bin to dispose it. And I'm not joking. I wish everyone will be like me. I see the road as an extension of my house.
If we all agree to sweep the society, I probably would be the first to pick a broom.
I don't see anything special in those pictures that we don't already have other than we are dirty people and this has become our habitual way of life. |

Politics › Re: Lagos Police Confirm Arrest Of Magodo Estate Security by CaptainFM1: 11:50am On Jan 03, 2022 |
FarahAideed: Estate guards where doing their job and he felt above the estate laws ..in most gated estate in Lagos you have to call before you are allowed in ..In Some you even need a special code before you are allowed In But it's absolutely wrong to prevent people from moving freely. This is why I was against my Estate when they started locking Estate gate just because they want to collect Estate security fee. The police just like every citizens must be able to walk through any area as long as it's a public area. The fact that you put a gate and called yourself a private Estate doesn't mean other people should not walk through the place. And they don't necessarily have to know someone or visiting someone there. |

jaxxy: I’m sure uve seen buildings go up in flames in uk and other developed countries even though it’s not rampant bt it happens and the fire service department is alerted.
A fire service must be responsible and that is not negotiable whether u are 3rd or 1st world. You are very correct. Part of their responsibilities is to ensure and encourage quick detection and alertness to fire. |
Properties › Re: 3-Storey Building On Fire In Surulere, Lagos by CaptainFM1: 4:57am On Jan 02, 2022 |
MikeMicheal: Oga the fire is due to generator explosion. In this case, your yeye smoke detector is useless. I didn't know the cause of the fire. My write up is just for an ideal situation. And talking of generator....it should be sited well off the living area. A generator should be in a generator house. |
Properties › Re: 3-Storey Building On Fire In Surulere, Lagos by CaptainFM1: 4:37am On Jan 02, 2022 |
jaxxy: There is a fire service station right there in surulere and 20mins from that street yet fire service came 1hour later and with malfunctioning equipments.
What a useless state Lagos has become.
Yet Lagos claims to be a mega city? More like a highly corrupt and mismanaged state.
Can smoke detectors put out an inferno?? Every inferno starts as a small smoulder. A "simple smoke/fire detector" does nothing other than to "detect and alert". So once the alarm triggers, you hurriedly and extinguish/contain the fire before it's out of control. An advanced smoke/fire detection system will not only detect and alert, but will also shut ventilation systems and activate fire fighting medium installed. Such you would see in sky-scrape buildings where the sprinkler system would automatically activate having received command from the fire detection system. |

GenBuhari: Also if there were fire extinguishers with trained fire marshalls in the building it may have been possible to extinguish the fire before it became uncontrollable! Thanks for the above. Fire Marshalls / Warden is also very important. I will suggest any building not equipped with detection system should hire a fire marshal/warden that will routinely carry out a safety rounds/checks around the house especially during the night. If there are lifeguards for swimming pools, there should also be fire Marshalls/wardens for buildings too. |
