shugasofttouch: you are so right anytime I am in PH I spend the night with the generator on and when it's 7pm that town is extremely dangerous mostly eleme or slaughter at rumuokoro. have you stayed in Lagos before..?? I just relocated to ph... I am just two months in ph.. And I can tell you this.. The insecurity in ph is nothing compared to that of Lagos.. All my friends and relatives keep screaming how dangerous rumuokoro and some other places are.. But.. When I went there at night 10/11 pm..several times.. I saw nothing To be scared of. Maybe.. Cos I am used to the high threat of staying in Lagos.. Oshodi. Island.. Iyana iba.. Isolo.. Mushin areas.. Those are the hot and danger spots in Lagos.. So.. From what I have seen.. The crime in ph is still learning compared to Lagos.. In iyana iba in Lagos.. I can't be in a cab and be pressing phone with my window wind down at 8pm...but I do It daily here in ph. I have deliberately gone to the so called danger spots In ph.. It's not that bad.. If you have stayed in Lagos before. ..ph will be way way easy for you.. On the road.. Ph has good road network I must confess.. Except for places like.. Eleme..and oyigbo.. also.. They take the laws here in ph very serious.. And I have been arrested 3 times already for traffic violations.. Which I know. I could have easily escaped in Lagos.. Heehehhe he.. So far.. I am loving the town... |

blestman: @ ikeyman, I have used a car with a t-stat stucked open and fans running directly. It never gets to 70degree operation temp and was consuming fuel. The problem became worse wen I replaced d water with a coolant. It hardly got to 60 degree and far below on a rainy day, check light came up and d code P0128 came up. After some research I disconnected d direct wiring of d fans and surprisingly d fans never turns on no matter d distance i cover and d car never overheats and the temp was now getting to 75 degree, but drops significantly on rainy days Finally I took a look at d t-stat and it was inplace but tampered wit so that it was always opened. I replace thermostat and now d car gets to operation temp and fans only comes up at around 90 degree wit improved fuel consumption and lesser noise from d fan. And code p0128 is gone. So do ur car a favor, replace d thermostat woa,,,i really need to do this to my car,...cos i observed my car consumes fuel a bit more and the fan runs directly,,,i need to get a mecho to do this for me ,,, |

inze: . . . means your engine is taking too long to warm up i.e it does not reach expected temperature after running for a specified time.
this may be as a result of bad thermostat or your fan might have been bypassed directly. boss..were u able to solve your code? cos i just scanned mine and got the same code..please reply//...thanks |

ThatErha: Hope this helps.
2005 EOD. My silencer sounded deep bass whenever I was moving in reverse, but sounded fine when moving forward. Mechanic replaced theanifold and it was solved. While driving to work, I stopped to refuel. Started engine immediately after and check engine light came on in the next 3 secs. Scanned when I got home. Codes were P1157 and P0134. Erased codes and restarted engine. CEL was on again after 3 secs. Code was now only P1157 -- Air/Fuel ratio sensor .......... blah blah.
YouTube to the rescue, I was able to locate the sensor. No sign of physical damage. I checked the plug/harness; it seemed fine, not loose. Nevertheless, I decided to press it in further. Lo and behold, it clicked into place. (meaning it wasn't properly fixed even though it initially looked so).
I erased DTC and started engine, no check engine light. Drove to work and back and still nothing. FAULT RESOLVED.
Always check plugs and wires and fuses first. Hope this helps somebody. Thanks bro.. I already changed the sensors and all codes clleared..no more check engine light.. But I wanna ask.. What distance can fuel of 2k take you. In Miles I mean.. That's.. 13 litres. Still measurinf the fuel consumption of my car... |

kneyo14: Please I've experienced overheating while driving on 2 different occasions.
First time:- I found out through my the temperature gauge which rised above average which is very unusual; so I turned off the the AC and it by itself regulated.
Second time:- My temperature gauge was fine but I was alerted by drivers-by who noticed the heat and called my attention to it, turned off the AC and also the engine for a few minutes then headed out again, but without the AC and operations went smoothly.
But on both occasions my water level was fine, engine oil level was fibe and no leakage of coolant.
Please what do I need to look out for Maybe an underlying issue ... perhaps your car isn't breathing well.. You could flush your radiator and check if there is difference.. |

Yarnvibes: Yahoo Plus Boy, Internet Fraudster Uses Charm To Hack Into Ecobank Mobile App, Withdraws N207 Million
A 28-year-old suspected fraudster, James Nwagalezi, was yesterday, arraigned before a Lagos Magistrate’s Court for allegedly conniving with Okoli Nmesoma, already facing trial, to hack into the mobile app account of Eko Bank Plc and unlawfully withdrew N207 million.
Nwagalezi is facing a four-count charge bordering on felony to wit unlawfully hacking into bank account and stealing, preferred against him by the Police.
Police prosecutor, Inspector Jimoh Joseph, told the court that the defendant and others still at large committed the offence on April 27 at Igboelerin, Okokomaiko, Ojo, Lagos.
He said The management of the bank at its headquarters in Lagos reported the fraud to the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Ikoyi Division, SP Tijani Mustapha, who directed a crack team led by Inspector Tope Ijatuyi to fish out the suspects.
He added that “Nwagalezi was arrested after several months of manhunt. His arrest brings the number of suspects arrested and charged to court to six. The Police are still hunting for more suspects involved in the alleged fraud.”
According to the prosecutor, the offences are punishable under Sections 411, 387, 287 and 325 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.
However, Nwagalezi pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Magistrate B. I. Bakare granted him N1 million bail, with two sureties in like sum, one of whom must be a community leader.
He adjourned the case till July 4 and ordered that the defendant be remanded at the Ikoyi Prison, pending when he is able to perfect his bail conditions.
