Toju200: Ok lemme just break it down to what I know..I'm still very young (17yrs) and I may be wrong or right.First The Andonni class SDB1 is an 30meters inshore patrol vessel Right. And it wasn't built to sail offshore in higher seas.Good. Karaduwa class SDB2 is a 40meters Midshore patrol vessel.Which has participated in several international Maritime exercise but in the shores of Nigeria And outside. The vessel was one of the star attraction at Ghana Navy Anniversary.it showcased the ingenuity of our naval engineers. The current vessel under construction is according to the CNS going to showcase the ingenuity of the naval dockyard. Now we may not have any ship with missile capability,or Anti submarine warfare. We will get there. The Navy is first dealing with its current challenge. We critizing the Navy for not buying subs or Frigates is like tell the NAF to go for the S400 air defense systems when we know what they need is CTCOIN platform for insurgency ops.All I'm saying is whether it's a Gunboats or IPV NDL builds we should appreciate it.they have a vision and they are getting somewhere.I can proudly say Nigeria is among nation's who has developed their military hardware from scratch.Rather than license built.which is a Good thing... Next year we will receive one of our LST from Damen, Hydrographic ship from Ocean.E.T.C and some helo from Leonardo helicopters You are well informed and will make a fine officer, give it a shot if it aligns with your goals. |

ILLICITblood: About Cyriel Dessers
Fresh from scoring a hattrick yesterday for Heracles Almelo in their 6-1 win over VVV Venlo, Cyriel Dessers has once again reaffirmed his desire to represent Nigeria ahead of Belgium.
The 24 year old is presently the joint second top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie with 8 goals so far. The tally also makes him the top scorer among players eligible to represent Nigeria playing abroad.
Born in Belgium but qualifies for Nigeria due to his Nigerian heritage, Dessers has never hidden his desire to represent Nigeria apparently as he knows he won't likely get the chance with the Belgium national team.
Although he has represented them at youth level but that was in a friendly game four years ago. Since then he has gone on to become one of the most feared striker in the Dutch League.
Two years ago while at Utrecht, Dessers first committed his future to Nigeria after scoring nine goals in 32 games in his first season in the Dutch top division following hus move from second division side NAC Breda where he scored 22 goals.
" I want to play for Nigeria and I will be glad if I am called up. I was born in Belgium but I have lot of respect for my Nigerian roots and culture. My dream is to represent the Super Eagles ", he said in an interview conducted on the 27th of October 2017.
Fast forward to 2019 and he has once again confirmed his intentions despite the fact that his current form could possibly earn him a shock call up to the senior national team of Belgium if he maintains his form till the end of the season.
" Going by reports the national team handlers of Belgium are monitoring me and probably will call hand me a chance if I maintain my form. That will be nice but to be honest it's not in my immediate plan. I foresee a better international career with Nigeria than with Belgium ", Dessers said yesterday.
Asked if he has been approached by Nigeria at anytime, the 24 year old said talks have been held but most were preliminary as none came with a chance to be included in any of the squad selected for games.
" Two years ago, an official of the Nigerian team spoke with me and later my management team. That was the only contact I have had with Nigeria but I am hoping for a fresh round of talks before the end of the season. If I am called up today, I'll be in Nigeria tomorrow ", he remarked.
Dessers further revealed his target for the season is to first of all help his team to a respectable position on the table and also finish among the top scorers in the league, if possible win the award of top scorer.
" The team comes first and that is my primary aim. Finishing high up the table will be a very good finish for us. Personally I just want to be up there with the top scorers at the end of the season. Finishing as the highest goal scorer will however be a dream come true for me", Dessers concluded.

JonDon12: You are the one going to hell. It is unscrupulous ill-trained officers like you that cause the problem. Sorry to say but it is the truth. You guys have no pride, no honor, no common sense. Amnesty international and human rights council will see this and make it harder for Nigerian Army to procure weapons. You as a captain ( I assume) will send your company platoon out there and they will get fvcked up by Boko Haram. Everybody will blame Buratai and the Grunts but it is mid-level guys like you that are weakest link in the Nigerian Army.
But you don't care, you still drawing your paycheck. You are going to Hell. No Honor. No Rank Foolishness. Once again go to hell |

JonDon12: Nigeria Army. No Shame. You execute people without trial and broadcast it to the world.
Who says this Guy was Boko Haram. Where is the proof? Is this not the same Nigerian Army that attacked Policemen in order to free a detainee accused of kidnapping?
You catch a terrorist, you are meant to interrogate (not torture) him for more information. If you can ( and this is the height of espionage tactics) , you flip him to be a double agent. But Nigerian Army, you carry am go bush, kill am, post am for Youtube. What Kind of rank foolishness is this?
The Nigerian Army created this Boko Haram menace with extrajudicious killings. They made it worse by not securing their ammo dumps from Boko Haram making BH more armed than them. From Private to General, the Nigerian Army is the worst institution in Africa bar none. As far as am concerned Nigerian Army and Boko Haram are the same Go to hell |

Koboko99: Eduardo day silva. That was against Stoke city I think. Those stoke city defenders that year....Ryan Shawcross and Danny Higginbotham. Ramsey's broken leg was against Stoke city while that of Eduardo was against Birmingham city. Arsenal had too many injury players that year....Ramsey, Eduardo, Wilshere, and the baba himself Diaby Stoke that year, funny enough shawcross is currently out with a horror injury also. Thats the downside of sports, i once had a similar bad injury playing for my battalion during my cadet days and felt my whole life flashed in front of me with those few seconds. |
