nemesis4u: seriously ?
what about the proficiency of the user ? what about the environmental/weather conditions ? what about the battlefield tactics and counter tactics ? what about counter measures ? what about counter platform measures ? what about denial of target data ? etc etc
every weapons OEM designated kill probability is calculated under test conditions and under optimal conditions.
if the conditions r favorable then expect results as given by OEM otherwise in real war all these OEM kill probability figures will go for a toss.
anyways believe what u want to believe , i have no problem with that. Don't mind him joor |

nwaanambra1: Congrats bro!
if you want to live long and survive the army, avoid shedding innocent blood or getting involved in things that are dirty. avoid drunkenness - it has killed so many soldiers more than their armed enemies, respect your uniform and be a pride to the force.
Try your very best to increase your education so you will advance in your career. there are many ways you can get education while still serving in the army. you can try open university, part university courses or even NTI. i think UNN even have part time courses - whatever you do bro, pls get more education, it will help you in your chosen career.
Another thing is - please learn to speak fluent Hausa and Yoruba. it will be a big plus to you.
May the good Lord protect you always as you serve your father land. amen. Fixed bro, there are no Igbo, Hausa and co soldiers but Nigerian Soldiers. God Bless you as you understand this. |

some years back in Abuja I saw a lady lamenting over her flight cancellation and complained of her missing her work assignment. I booked her a ticket down at the counter without asking her and told the customers agent to inform her about the booking without my name being mentioned. I was happy to put a smile on her face without knowing her form Adam. |

tdayof: My advice and opinion is that the interview is just to calm the average Nigeria. The money might not even end up on any purchasing any gun. That journalist knows nothing about the military. He looks like an accountant. Imagine someone like UJU interviewing this man. saw the video, I think he was trying to drive home a point of modernisation using a bad example. |

nemesis4u: anyways today was fun in bidexii thread though
SC was literally in berserker mode
he literally gave everybody his piece of mind starting from T72 , European junk , NAF air marshals , Oyinbo , all nigerians , Lagos Benin expressway , armed robbers , pot holes , black man , Libya , slave trade , Abuja politicians , APC election campaign 2018 , Nigerian army generals , Nairaland mafia , some cult , looters , black africa , disappearing ERA tiles etc and he did mentioned something about nairaland fools
the guy really gave vent to each and every issue troubling his mind
plus his desire to be born in japan manga fan i presume
not to forget he seemed fixed to have iblawi auctioned at a Libyan slave market for less than 250 dollars
i was kind of afraid that CaptainStephen out of frustration might have driven right into the BH hordes in his T72 all guns blazing rather than face the never ending mind twisting outbursts
hola CaptainStephen plz sit tight we will get through this together
as for me i for a second though of dropping in a meme but thankfully better sense prevailed over me , who knows he might have taken me and all of Asia to task
edit: lolzz the guy still not finished might need to update the post later update 1: iblawi value at the Libyan slave market just dropped to zero dollars update 2: iblawi now valued as fit for donation to Libyan farm owners as free laborer hahahaha Don't mind the white fowl or should I say Augububu , I actually had a great laugh yesterday. |

SupremeCourt: Mister, you can sit down in any fvcking Nigerian T-72 tank till the day Boko Haram is angry enough to use tank-blaster heat RGP smuggled from Libya, instead of their current ordinary RPG they used to kill a Nigerian army colonel inside his cobra armoured vehicle in 2014, then you will know what is called roasting bonfire when all your own T-72 shells are used to cook everybody in your ancient tank like mallam roasts suya in mammy market.
Open your ignorance blinded eyes and see first image when we bought these third hand tokunbo T-72. Second image when all the body begin dey scatter, look at vital protective armour parts broken off. Third image see what other countries T-72 looks like when human beings with common sense and patriotic love of their fatherland are allowed to do procurement of defence items.
Shame of you, boasting of rustic rusted breaking down dry bone T-72 tanks built in 1977 and sold to you as part of $ 2 billion arms deal in 2014 by oyinbo that believes you are getting the low quality you deserve because of your backward mentality. Hate me properly, my name for internet na SupremeCourt, am no soldier, but I have military officer friends who love Nigeria and demand the best for Nigeria, not obsolete junk equipment. I asked you a simple question which you havnt answered yet, why the above ? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by CaptainStephen(m): 7:47am On Dec 17, 2017 |
Xbee007: CaptainStephen If you are given a choice between a brand new top-of-the-line T-72 tanks in pristine condition, with only factory mileage and a second hand T-72 that has probably been used for years, would you still go for the later? Look, we just want the best, safest and most reliable equipment for our soldiers in the Northeast. And my point is that they should buy enough of those tanks so we don't overuse the few. It will be a force multiplier. we all want the best my brother but an argument without knowing the true state of things is not ideal. you are not out of place for desiring the best. |

Xbee007: Don't you see pictures of them on this page or what sort of rhetorical question is this? There lies the problem, you came to such conclusion without hard evidence but from photos or whatever the case maybe. I don't need to see pictures because I am replying you from inside one of the so called third hand broken down tanks. |
