Mr Man, read my post again and read it well. I said 2nd lieutenant and not lieutenant.
There is a difference between one star and two stars and yes a 2nd lieutenant is a probation rank. If you passed out through NDA, you'll use six months for your probation (2nd lieutenant) before you're promoted to lieutenant. If you passed out through SSC where you've seen and known too much in the civilian world before enlisting, you'll spend 2-3 years on the rank before you get promoted. I think they've reduced it now to 1½ - 2 years.

DSSC on the other hand are not combatants/field officers.. infact RC, RRI and SSC don't consider them soldiers. They no even dey give DSSC rifle. Some of them might not even touch a rifle till they retire except for those posted to the NE like medical and engineering at least they need something to arm themselves with. Moreover they are not needed in service for a long time so they get their 2 stars straight nothing like probation.

So now you can see it's you who should "Just say you don't know and people would feed you with information not disgracing your ignorance.". Fool!!!

I don tell you before, go research before you go disgrace yourself online one day... if you talk about probation period nah Cadet period be that...Once you are Commisioned or inducted as a 2nd Lieutenant nah only if you break force rules you will be sent parking.

AO for command na Captain. If you understand the meaning of RSM, na appointment and that's even an education Corp.

In other corps or in the field or theater of battle, it's a different ball game. Infact the captain go dey hide for warrant officer back dey piss for body.

A warrant officer can never discipline a lieutenant, don't misunderstand me. He go give you your respect full time . If you give him orders, he will obey..

What we are saying is the warrant officer can also turn against some orders from the WO. He will respectfully tell him sir, it's not supposed to be like this. As a lieutenant who is still fresh in your military career, don't fvck with your warrant officer. He go mess you up badly behind the scenes. They get connections die.

A warrant officer will never disrespect a 2nd lt . He go give you your respect full time but that doesn't give you the right to bullshit him. Infact if a lieutenant gives a WO an order which he perceives is wrong, he can tell you, "sir, with due respect, it's not supposed to be done this way".

Infact as a lieutenant , if you want to enjoy your career and avoid problems. Take their advice. If you disrespect a warrant officer, you disrespected all other NCOs (Privates to sergeants) and once they gat their eyes on you, they will frustrate your soul slowly. You be lieutenant wey spend 9 months for jaji or 5 years for NDA carrying 2 star for chest no mean say make u con dey do anyhow for person wey don spend 30 years for service.

warrant officers are given assignments similar to captains. They are specialists with great experience. Even generals respect them not to talk of a 20 something year old lieutenant who just finished RC, SSC/DSSC. A warrant officer can tell a lieutenant to fvck off and nothing will happen. Infact if you want to enjoy your military career, respect them warrant officers , NCOs (privates - master warrant officers ) are the spinal cord of the army and once they start their craze like this, na you go tire.

I once used my card to deposit. Before , they gave the option of removing your card but for reasons best known to them, they removed the option. As I deposit con see say I no fit commot my card like this I nearly ran mad. Funniest thing con be say any further deposit won't even require an OTP lol I wan crase. No be small argument with their customer care fr phone. I had to go and change my card the following day.
