Yes if the engine has not been overhauled or cylinder head gasket replaced.

The ABS unit may have been replaced at some point. (Probably due to a collision cos they dont easily get damaged) The unit on your car is not compatible to your car's spec. It has to be identified to that specific chassis number and reprogrammed to your car. Get ready to spend o if you really need this problem properly resolved.

I presume that this car has a very high mileage and was poorly maintained by the previous owners and bad workmanship from auto technicians as well.

From you report, you may be needing a full transmission overhaul which will include replacement of clutch fibers as they may be badly worn or if badly damaged, a full replacement.

Pls do a scan first and lets have the results posted here. It will be a great pointer.

I used lexus denso iridium plugs in my 07 accord, the engine is still not running fine. Could the problem be the plugs or any matching plugs can work in any car?

i experience overheating in very traffic on very hot days..
after a while.. my mechanic said The fan isn't spinning as it should so he flushed radiator and changed fan... however the overheating continued on very hot days and traffic but temperature goes to normal once i put off AC...

now i observed later that i started losing coolant.. so he pressured check and we saw radiator has started leaking now... so he suggested we replaced the radiator and change gasket that the gasket may be the reason why the overheating persisted after we fixed the fan back then ...

now my question is hope changing this gasket won't affect engine performance because right now the car drives really fine and responds well...
and I'm shocked he's saying we change gasket... especially when i don't have white smoke in exhaust or oil mixed with water or anything... even performance is fine...

just the overheating in intense traffic or when parked in the sun for long with AC ..

please help me please

You sound like you are a more experienced mechanic than your "mechanic". The issue has been resolved despite the uneconomical and route that also lacked dexterity. Do not attempt to have the head gasket replaced because of his assumptions. It will only lead to an unnecessary amount of headaches.

Get a more experienced mechanic to look at that issue properly.

My transmission is throwing up transmission fluid and the gear guy said it's the pump and torque converter that is bad. Please how do I source for a good one? Hi Nairalanders,

I drive a 2010 Nissan Sunny (AKA Fashola), my suspension was not doing it job anymore as it has already been slightly over a year I installed the absorber.
The car was too bouncy and doesn't absorb shock any more so I bought a brand new absorber and get it installed but yet when I ride it still bounces though it was fair compared the old shock absorber but the new absorber doesn't feel right as it should being a new absorber.
When I hit even the smallest bump i do feel like it was a very big bump as the new absorber doesn't absorb the shock and the car seems like it swerving whenever this happens.

Another point is, I raised the car a bit by giving the shock absorber to welder to lift the base (I did same to the old previous absorber too & it worked perfectly well until it worn out) as the road I ply every day is a bad & bumpy road & the car hits the ground hence the raising.

What can I do to eliminate the rough ride even after I have installed new absorber....
All the car gurus in the house Please help !!!! This is very urgent!!!!

When you say "BRAND NEW" are they really " BRAND NEW"? Some people will say brand new when its actually refurbished and resprayed old tokunbo parts.

Have them dismantled and checked for hydraulic pressure.
