I don't believe any agent can help you get a job in Canada except you're into core IT such as engineering or coding. Even then, you have to be exceptional to get a job from outside Canada. I think you should try to process the Express Entry for yourself and see how you can do provincial nomination if points are not enough.

However, this is an opinion. My opinion. Na you get your moni.

josielewa:
pls, can an agency help in doing all these processes if I have the money. From the beginning to the end since am usually busy, except for days when I will be physically needed like ielts exams etc...

Reason am asking is that an agency in Ogun state claim they can help me procure 2 years work visa and I will be renewing it till am given permanent residency. Although everything will cost me almost a million naira and I will have to repay them if I have confirmed the visa to be genuine.

Although am skeptical about it, but I want to give it a try since am not going to spend any cash except for ielts. They will be in charge from start to finish without me spending a dime. I only repay them if am already legally working in CA.
MY QUESTION IS, DO WE HAVE AGENTS OR COY THAT DO THIS OR IF ITS JUST MERE HEARSAY...

Hello all,

Please has anyone been able to successfully get thier credentials evaluated by Wes for Unilag Msc.

Wes has sent my documents over a month now but unilag still claims they've not received any verification request from UNILAG.

Kindly advise on what to do.
UNILAG is known for this. Be patient. They take about 8 weeks to get it all sorted out.

Claim your full work experience.
Working while schooling is legal so claim that experience if you can get a reference letter for it
winner01:
Thank you so much for your help. But something is still unclear.

Are you saying I claim years of full time working experience even while I was doing my MSc full time?

If so, this can shoot my CRS score to 493.

I was told by someone that I have to start counting years of work experience from time of last certification (which in my case is August 2018) and that claiming years of Full-time work experience while studying Full-time will raise eyebrows.
Additionally, I did not evaluate my Bsc, only Msc so this shouldn't be a problem right?

Good evening everyone. I am doing a gift deed for my POF(coming from my dad). I believe I need to show a proof of our relationship. I don't have a birth certificate. All I have is a declaration of age..will this be enough in addition to his International passport and my wedding certificate which carries his name as my father? Please help!
I don't think that's enough. I think you need to get your BC. It's not very hard, you might be able to get it at the nearest LGA HQ and you can get it notarized to make it legit.

I didn’t claim points for it when I created my profile, however I’m planning to apply in two weeks. is it okay for me to click no to having a sibling in Canada? Or should I click yes and attach a letter of explanation that I do not I fact want to claim points for it.
Don't click no o. Click yes. You don't have to claim points and you can tender that explanation. Clicking no means you're lying.

For WES: You apply to your school to send your transcript to WES Canada. Give the the address and pay for it. You can pay for them to send it by NIPOST or by courier. For some schools, you apply online and for some, you must reach the school. Most schools know how to stamp and send the transcript. You don't have to send extra photocopies of the transcript to WES. They will not accept it. BUT, you need to send a copy of your certificate to WES. You can make a copy and send by courier or use hellofax. Search Nairaland for people who have used hellofax.
Hope this helps
NEROSKY:

I will use dhl or ems speedpost then, but i have not really gotten the clear picture ah swear, i will send my photocopies to the WES address and the school will send transcript of my result to them on the WES request or do i still inform the school to send the transcript. How is this process done please house? , someone should break it down to layman's understanding please.

4423 – By-law enforcement and other regulatory officers, n.e.c.
Employment Requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a college program or courses in law and security or other related field or experience in a related administrative or regulatory occupation is usually required.
Zoning inspectors or zoning enforcement officers may require a college diploma as a civil engineering or architectural technologist or technician and several years of experience in enforcement and/or building construction or a related field.
On-the-job training is provided.

4423 seems to be okay. But if you can share your job duties, we may be able to compare and see if there's a better one

This relative must be a:

parent
grandparent

grandchild
your or your spouse’s sibling (child of your or your spouse’s parent)
your or your spouse’s aunt or uncle (by blood or marriage)
your or your spouse’s niece or nephew (grandchild of your or your spouse’s parent)

kindly confirm if i can use my Uncle (His dad and my mum's dad are siblings). Thanks for your kind response(s)

It appears you guys are second cousins. Uncle, in that context, means he's your mum's brother. Direct relationships are what they mean. My opinion sha. You can seek other opinions

If i update my EE profile this morning, will i get ITA if draw happens later today??

It depends on whether or not your score is above the cut off. If your score is above the cut off, yayyyyy. You'll get ITA within 24 hours.
If the cutoff is the exact score of the cutoff, then you may not get it because of the tie breaking rule

1. Nope
2. Yes. However, UNILAG is very slow in responding to transcript requests so I think you should start going to the transcript office if you don't see movement after 6 weeks.
4. Find someone who can make UNILAG go faster. UNILAG will respond to WES twice on your matter. The first time is when you request for them to send the transcript to WES. The second time is when WES asks them to verify that they're the ones that sent the transcript. The first time can take 8 weeks. Mine took 10 weeks. The second time can take 8 weeks as well. Mine took 12 weeks. So if you know somebody find a way...

Please I need an answer to this:

Is it compulsory to attach an Affidavit and/or an LOE to a Gift Deed?

Thanks in advance for responding.
The thing about gift deeds is that they're not an official document required by IRCC so there's no guidelines to say they should have sworn affidavit or LOE. However, you will not be with the Visa officer when they're making a decision so it's important to provide as much detail as possible alongside your application.
My opinion is that you do a LOE stating your relationship with the person (add evidence if possible) and reiterating that the money is yours to do whatever you please with it.

Guys,
I have a challenge with my WES. I dont know if to call it Big or not.

I did my MSc at University of Ibadan.
As i heard that for WES, they are not taking WAEC again & i just have to send my highest degree, i decided to send only my MSc( degree & transcript) to WES.
Before sending to WES, i took a pic of the copy of the transcript from the officer processing it & made a few checks before they posted it by courier.
I didn't see any error...!

After WES received my documents they requested for verification from University of Ibadan.
I kept waiting for this to be done, when it Dawn on me to recheck every detail of the transcript then i saw various mistakes.
One of the mistake is that a course was repeated twice. Another is that the grading of some courses were not correct.
Example: in some courses where i got over 70, the grade was E.

When i saw all these, i was so sad..!

I then decided to come here to ask if anyone has been in such situation before & the way out.

Can i write to WES to explain this?

What WES does for an Immigration ECA is to ensure you actually have a Masters. It does not emphasize on your scores. It just checks that the courses are masters level courses and that the school certifies that you passed. An Email to WES on this issue could elongate your credential evaluation process.

If you were doing WES to apply for a Phd, however, you would need to sort this issue out. Not with WES but with your school. Remember: anyone can send an email saying the school is wrong. WES would need proof that the school is making mistakes.

My point is: I don't think you should take this up with WES now because as long as you have a Master's certificate, your scores don't matter.

I think you should take it up with your University IF you need to do any future credential evaluation for a Phd or diploma.

First, because you warmly castigated those advising people to check out page one. Secondly, yes you did give out wrong info. Not only Ontario picks from the pool.

I will only say this once!

I usually will not respond to things like these but today, I have some time sooooo here goes:

1. The information on PNP was specifically tailored to his situation. The PA here is on NOC C. Historically, Alberta and New Brunswick have picked persons from the pool who meet their provincial labour market needs or who meet economic diversification needs. Only Ontario picks people from the stream with different methodologies at different times and even with different rules. Just yesterday, they picked people with Computer and Engineering backgrounds and experiences and gave them NOI. So, when I was speaking specifically to HIM, I knew that NB and AB were unlikely to pick him. But I NEVER said ONLY Ontario picks, I just said ‘Ontario picks’ and he would have to apply to the others. I stated in both responses that he should read up on PNP. Look, boy, if you had something to add, you could have added it like other people did without being rude to me.

2. To castigate: to reprimand (someone) severely

I'm sure when you said the words 'warmly castigate' they sounded nice in your ears, but I guess you don't know what those words mean. I made SUGGESTIONS to the person to read up on PNP on Nairaland because it is important to know that information for himself. I also suggested that the person joins a whatsapp pre-ITA group because I know such groups exist to help people pass IELTS, fill EOI for PNP and write additional exams to boost points all at no extra cost. A woman had paid 1.2m before coming to Nairaland and she was told to collect her money back from the agent and join the group where there's free information and support. Post AOR groups also exist for this same reason.

How any of these even remotely sound like castigation and how these even seem to imply that I didn't encourage them to read page 1 is baffling. If you had followed the thread instead of offering me unsolicited advice, you would have realized that I had told him to read page 1 as well.

As for your insinuation that I did not read page 1 and that I should truly 'digest page 1' to 'become like you', I say ewwwww. Why would I want to be like a condescending individual who has a poor know it all manner of approach, the ghetto!

Information will always be available on Nairaland for all whom seek it. I will always give directions to people to where people can find more information. If I'm wrong, please correct me with proof and sense but if you want to be rude, be rude with your chest, don't hide under bluntness.

I must commend your enthusiasm in trying to solve people's problems but you need to understand that this process requires alot of investment, most especially in acquiring knowledge. You truly and sincerely need to read and digest page one. Infact once you do, I'm positive you will become one of us that direct that way wink In d meantime I also suggest u confirm by continuous research every information you try to pass across. For example, not only Ontario picks from the pool. I have also noticed you are picking up very fine but you need to read page one. Some people read from the very first thread and have become more knowledgeable. Cheers!

Hmmmn. I'm curious as to why you decided to write this. Did I give out the wrong information to this person? How do you know I did not read page 1?

Thanks for your response,my wife who is the primary applicant already have Masters. If we go in the pool EE with the 444 CRS can any province decide pick us from the pool or we should just apply for PNP by the side as well ?

For Ontario, they pick from the pool, but for other provinces, you have to apply. There are some pre-ITA groups on whatsapp and there's a PNP thread here on Nairaland. Just ask here for the links.
Have you done your IELTS because with masters her score should be a bit higher. Also, how old is she? and how many years work experience does she have?
