CHIJIOKE1314: Read my post but don't misinterpret it as being pained that the Boko-idiots are being killed, Quite the contrary ...
I am being pained by the manner of which they were killed as claimed if truly they were killed by our constitutionally mandated security forces..
The picture depicts a clear fruad and evidence altering..
In as much as this fight against these vampires is an important one and we are so glad at the sight of their dead rotten bodies.. We should also know that we are encouraging extrajudicial killings of suspected criminals/terrorists. theirby, turning our children(soldiers) into monsters and killing machine..
Remember, while we encourage this barbarism by our uniform personals, there certainly will become a time when these terrorist would naturally be wiped out and guess who the killing machine activated in those young men has left....
Let us always insist that our uniform personals despite the upsets carry out their duties with decorum as inscribed in the UN rules of engagement and also consider the rights of the suspects as described by our various laws..
Good morning! what are you saying? They should have waited for them to fall into trap and be arrested? An armed group that came to kill? What happened to your brain if you have any? |

UrennaNkoli: I was a strong advocate of Buhari in 2015 but now I'm safe to say I regret as many will agree with me. Mr president has performed below expectations so far and its even scary to think we still have about 3 solid years under this administration. I must confess , I don't think he stands a chance in 2019. Only a fool will still go ahead and usher him support after all these suffering, sorrow, grief, woes, misery , anguish and travail. I support no man , I only support only that which I think should be a better choice and if you disappoint at the end, I will criticize you badly. Mr president, you have failed us. go to hell. Were you expecting him to come and perform magic? Governance is not Nigerian film. Buhari did not promise Eldorado , but categorically said in the next 5 years, it will be hard , but after then , Nigeria and Nigerians won't remain the same again. Typical of amnesiac black brain, you just display ed you are short-sighted. |
Politics › Re: Economy: Buhari Not Seeking Emergency Powers- Presidency by Caseless: 9:05pm On Aug 23, 2016 |
JESUSMYLOVE: A popular saying goes that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Obasanjo had wanted third term so that he can consolidate on the gains made by his Government, it’s seemingly was a good plan, but again, it was a plan for perpetuation in power. (This is how Mugabe managed to stay so long in power, it was always with good intention and then every other change with be made gradually and those who do not agree, will be linked to Dasuki loot and silenced. And ALL Nigerian politicians have skeletons so this should be easy.)
What Buhari is essentially asking for is a SUSPENSION OF DEMOCRACY. Let’s even go through the lines and see what it really means.
• Abridge the procurement process to support stimulus spending on critical sectors of the economy; WHAT IT MEANS? The Govt decides who gets what contracts without question and pays them whatever amount with recourse to nothing or no one. There will be no standard excepts as the president sees fit.
• Make orders to favour local contractors/suppliers in contract awards; - WHAT IT MEANS? Same as above. To put it in perspective, think about the appointments he has made. He will replicate same here with who he chooses.
• Abridge the process of sale or lease of government assets to generate revenue; WHAT IT MEANS. This one speaks for itself, if baba decides that ANY Govt asset is a liability, he sells. You will have no input, no one will.
• Allow virement of budgetary allocation to projects that are urgent, without going back to the National Assembly. WHAT IT MEANS? This is the worst of them all!!! After the budget is approved, he can decide to channel the money where ever else. Say for instance, money approved for say Lagos Ibadan expressway, He can decide that it’s not important enough and channel it to building of grazing ranch for herdsmen. Nobody will have an input but him.
• Amend certain laws, such as the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) Act, so that states that cannot access their cash trapped in the accounts of the commission because they cannot meet the counterpart funding, can do so; and – WHAT IT MEANS? Well, unless you live under a rock, you must have heard of Adamu Adamu and his tinkering wand. This will elevate that to an art form!! The coating about accessing fund is as strong a reason as ice is strong under the hot sun.
• To embark on radical reforms in visa issuance at Nigeria’s consular offices and on arrival in the country and to compel some agencies of government like the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), the National Agency for Foods Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and others to improve on their turn around operation time for the benefit of busines nice analysis. I think , you need to read again. |

QuotaSystem: Spot on!
The North has been plagued by poor leadership in the past and this era is the first since Sardauna that we've had progressive leaders in the likes of El Rufai, Tambuwal, Bagudu etc. which is why for the first time in decades we are witnessing the revival of the leather industry in Sokoto, textiles in Kaduna, agricultural revolution across northern states with Kebbi currently leading with rice production, and the revival of the NNDC which is spearheading oil exploration in the region.
Another area overripe for exploitation is our wealth in solid minerals. Good times lay ahead for the North. each time I think about what's happening in the north right now , I run wild with joy. Wait until oil exploration starts, then we can practically shut these miscreants down south who calls us "parasite s" up. The last time our tomatoes stopped going round, we know what everyone went through. We can't be so rich and still be tagged "parasites" in Nigeria. Our leaders need to wake up. |
