Politics › Re: 21-Day Tribunal Deadline, Lawyers Petition Kogi SDP Candidate, Ododo by Caseless:
Yahaya Bello's hungry lawyers you meant to say? Some lawyers are the main conveyor belt of corruption in the judiciary; it's through them the judges get bribed.
These fools should know better that they can't preempt the court. They should allow the tribunal to do its work.

A winner declared on the 12th of November, and petition submitted on the 2nd of December, tell me how that's not within the stipulated 21 days.

These dogs submitting petitions didn't see reasons to submit petitions for the contradictory judgments emanating from the court in recent times, but here they're working for a thief that's not paying salary.

This one Yahaya is deploying every method to scuttle this court process, it tells you what really happened - he did over-rig it.

You are expending a lot of effort to make this gentleman look bad before us.

You even went as far as assuming.......and even broadcasting the assumption that being a former M.D he must be involved in some dirt/fraud or another.

You will have heartbreak the day you did over that some people have attained great heights in government, worked their bum off without stealing a dime from public coffers.

If you had listened to the interview you would have known that this man is one person who tried his best in the circumstances he worked. That's the best he could offer then and that's what he did.
I watched the interview and I have to salute this man.

This man is part of people that destroyed our refineries. He was MD of two national refineries and they collapsed.
Now government is fixing one, he is not happy.
God over them.
Oga, you didn't read what he's saying.

I watched him yesterday on channels TV and I want the NNPCL or the contractor to react to his claims.

I want to know why they chose to fix the older one over the newer one.

Do you think Zelensky could surrender ? Because it's glaring US may stop funding the war.
He'd be left with no choice.

Didn't you hear him say recently that if Trump is ready to negotiate for peace, he's ready to give that a chance.

Natanyahu even attempted to reduce the power of the supreme court of the country. He feels they're too powerful

I think, Israel has the best supreme court in the world. They sometimes look away, and in the spirit of law and humanity, ruled against occupation or grabbing of Palestinian lands.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Why Did Egypt Build A Steel border Barrier Along Its 14 Km Border With The Gaza? by Caseless: 4:27pm On Dec 06, 2023
Arab people? After black man, Arabs are another senseless people.

Hosni Mubarak wanted to protect his seat as a sit-tight president, he did all that to please his zionist overlords. They'd hit Gazans, and they'd run towards the border, Egyptians would lock the border and turn them back.

When Mursi came and was trying to make certain moves to help the plight of Palestinians, they overthrew him. And you don't expect Abdulfatah Elsisy who got to power through their backing to even attempt to do anything. Status quo must be maintained.

The world is unfair and unjust.

You can see why they're trying to hold Trump down.

If Trump had conceded easily without all those crisis, he'd have been on his way to victory already.

You are really conversant with Global politics.
Do you know that Afghanistan has all the latest weapons left by American and other Western Nations. During the senseless war.
Bin laden was killed but Taliban were empowered with Latest ammunition @ the expense their people.
Don't blame Zelensky, blame those that elected him.
He was a comedian before he won the election.
What do expect from such personality?
The west with their military strength couldn't defeat Taliban and ran - they left them better than they met them. Taliban was a ruling political party before the west criminalized them and kicked them out of power power. Now, they don't only have power, they have arms, fighters and power.

Zelensky would learn the hard way.

adecz:
Like Tinubu, Akume is a great Party man,
but unlike Tinubu, he always ends up
anointing rubbish, disloyal and selfish
individuals.

See how he picked a rejected man Ortom,
from PDP, brought him to APC and anointed
him governor.

Ortom spent 8 years fighting Akume,
Buhari and the citizens of Benue state
and left zero legacy.

I think disloyalty a Tiv thing and part
of their natural instinct.

Petition writing against government used
to be the favorite pastime of their educated
elites.
Maybe he should support an idoma candidate and see.

I pity him.

Those calling on other majorities in some states to allow power to Rotate haven't called Tiv people to let Idoma rule, despite their number and Tiv haven't performed since '99.

How can the GDP be growing when companies are exiting Nigeria, people are struggling to feed, the middle class is leaving Nigeria in droves (japa syndrome), naira is depreciating and companies are closing shop in their numbers?

Sometimes, you don't need a PhD in Economics to figure out certain things; you just need a bit of common sense.
Within the time those ones left, other may have taken their places.

It's when they leave that you mostly hear because that makes sense for the headline, but when another company fills that gap, you won't hear anything.
Politics › Re: Statisense Releases Positive Data: Nigerian Economy With Some Flashes Of Hope by Caseless: 5:53am On Dec 06, 2023
Well, I do believe we'll get it right with Tinubu.

He's bold with some economic decisions, but he's still tied to our useless budget pattern of repeating items in every budget cycle and padding the content.

He spoke about us using our own coal to power our economy and damn the rant of carbon emissions, but he's taking over 1000 people to conference on climate change. He's allowing budget of vehicles to the first lady office, The VP residence, 150m SUV for members of NASS, etc, but Nigerians are asked to sacrifice.

In fact, the useless minister of steel is looking for 35 billion to revive Ajaokuta steel plant, but they're using 15 billion to build the VP residence.

He needs to block loopholes. Improve security in ND to boost oil production.

I heard it's the 60,000 barrel per day refinery in portharcourt built 50 years ago that's being reconstructed, instead of the new one. I hope we hear the right thing about that project and the date set for operation is met.

Politics › Re: Revenue Received By Governor Peter Obi Of Anambra State. by Caseless: 4:30am On Dec 06, 2023
IGBOSON1:
It's always been clear to me that either Obi is incapable of managing the states finances, hence leading to leakages and pilfering here and there; or he's a monumental thief, presiding over the biggest looting spree Anambra has ever witnessed! Either way, it's not looking good for Anambrans!

After 8 freaking years as Governor, there are no world class structures, and no plethora of industries setting up shop in the state as should have been the case; no city in Anambra that one can look on with pride; no world class hospitals or university to boast of; there's nothing besides that beer factory and a couple of substandard local gov't level projects for a whole freaking 8 years of budgeting and planning! Yet, some mofos want the status-quo to continue? huh
It means many didn't see this message.
