What did I just read? |
yarimo:As the victim of their attacks and stolen mandate? |
You saw date and stamp carrying 02/12/2023 And results were declared on the 12th of November and you still believe he filed outside the stipulated time? Yahaya should allow this election to be judicially examined. |
duro4chang:When you have players like Yahaya who's naturally violent, what do you expect? |
SDP attacked tribunal secretary they submitted evidence to? The same man you claim is working for SDP and attacked? No state deserves a governor like Yahaya in this age and time. He failed the youths. |
Christistruth03:He'd rather die than have Shuaibu succeed him. If Shuaibu succeeds him, he's dead. Shuaibu that betrayed his brother. Make una vote Olumide Akpata! |
tafabaloo:Dem de follow am shout Edo no be Lagos and he hid under that and underperformed. For someone who God gave power but hasn't given children, I expected him to write his name in Gold, so he can last a long time in the minds of Edo people. He failed. |
garfield1:See, let's be realistic. Yahaya deployed crass method to rig the election like he did in 2019, it was easy because there was no BVAS and people of the East wanted central to complete their 8 years, and he unleashed some of their people in government against them and it was easier. This time around, it was a different reality. He never thought the SDP guy would poll that much true votes without structure like he did, that got him mad and he's been fighting his own party members from the state, especially those from Kogi east. If he truly fielded a popular candidate and his candidate truly won, what is he scared of? On your cross appeal, if they do that, they'd be digging more holes for themselves. Of course, his real votes would stand and their manufactured figures would be depleted based on court deductions. Remember, INEC acknowledged their complaints on those LGs and did nothing to correct that, it further gave SDP more grounds. INEC rejected 84k votes of Sylva in Bayelsa due to BVAS bypass - the court would ask them to explain why that wasn't the case in Kogi. I think, the SDP guy has sympathizers in the system and they're working for him. He tricked them to believe he's not going to court, then they let down their guard and he used those few days to gather a lot of details they forgot to hide, and "kaboom!", they saw him changing his mind. That got them attacking everything he lays his hands on. |
Use protection! |
Who was now patronizing that one? |
He's well now? |
Fact!!! |
What did I just read? |
Are we still on this matter? |
DarlingtonC:This is hypocritical of some of you- you only cry of injustice when it's happening to one of you. They'd kill Muslims in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna, Niger, Zamfara, Sokoto, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, you'll all look away. The moment such happens in christian dominated area, it's "persecution" of Christians in the north. This same "mistake" happened in a refugee camp in Borno state and Muslims were the victims, just like this one - but no one blame the pilot as trying to kill Muslims. If it were in your place, we won't hear word again. Change your ways. |
garfield1:What's painful? |
engineerboat:Those political jobbers are senseless. Yahaya's thugs attacked the tribunal secretary a day before yesterday, because the SDP lawyer had outsmarted them and filed within the stipulated time - so they thought the evidence were with the secretary, unknown to them, he had it saved in the court and the court is already protected. Yahaya should wait to confirm his victory at the court. What's he scared of if he actually won?

okeke6969:That's not gypsum. That looks like mica, as sheet silicates, that's common as rock-forming minerals to all 3 major rock types. |
WealthyNigerian:this looks like the mineral mica to me. |
We haven't been able to solve any of our national issues that comes with our own attitude to things, so I won't say anything about us tackling overspeeding. May God punish that mechanic and impose sadness on him for the rest of his life. People who have no business driving should not be driving. People run on high speed in places they see kids and people everywhere on both sides of the road. They want to impress. I do not trust two types of Nigerians: A nigerian wearing a police uniform with gun and a Nigerian driving a car. They are feeling like kings and you are expected to succumb to them or respect them everyday. Police can switch into accidental discharge anytime and a nigerian driving feels like he's a king and a pedestrian should worship him and respect him at all times - so he doesn't care about you, he just drive to chase you out of the road. They don't even obey traffic. They run against opposite traffic. We're terrible as a people. |
We keep electing stupid people to govern us. |
God1000:This man should silence Akume by working for Benue people and not by openly fighting like this. |
adecz:I like the guy, but he's beginning to annoy me. A priest should not be seen trying to betray those who stood for him. There are ways to do it. He now thinks he's popular enough to have won and not by what Akume did for him to get the people to see him. Akume is unlucky though. He has always brought them in and they end up fighting him. Akume is not that bad. If he is, he won't still be here by now. |
christejames:Haba! Akume hasn't gotten anyone in who became loyal to him and they all betrayed him and they still didnt do anything for Benue state. Suswam fought Akume, he brought that wicked ugly one, Ortom - he still fought Akume and he brought in this one and he has started already. This Rev Father and Binani were my favorite candidates in the last election, but I want him to thread carefully and talk less. He needs to work for Benue people. They have suffered for 23 years. |
garfield1:😂 Let the judges decide that. Where have you seen reasonable lawyers trying to preempt the outcome of a case before a court by holding a press conference like this? These young and hungry lawyers are shameless. They tried to prevent the tribunal from granting the request of SDP to access electoral materials, tribunal still did. They gave some thugs SDP shirts and Fez cap to invade INEC office to prevent this, soldiers sent them away. They tried to get the INEC REC to frustrate them or delay in granting access to the materials like it's been done in Imo to the LP, the man didn't do it. Then they use thugs to attack him and to scare him. The inspection happened and they were able to file within the stipulated time. Now, since the aim was to prevent them or delay them in accessing the materials to cause a delay in filing for them to win on technical ground and having lost at the field, and they can't seem to be able to defend the huge figures from those listed LGs, the prepared conference ahead of what they have set in motion had to still hold - unknown to them, SDP jumped all those obstacles and filed. To give meaning to that meaningless press conference, they had to use lawyers and people would think since they're legal practitioners, they know what they're saying. Not knowing that these are hungry lawyers trying to "ursurp" the power of the court. If Yahaya truly won, what's he scared of? Why are you also desperate to see that they didn't file? We have political attachment to our parties, but we should always call for the right thing to be done. |
notttty:They filed a petition that elections didn't hold in Adavi, Okene, Okehi, Ogori-magongo, and part of Ajaokuta and they needed to access the materials to complete their filing and this prayer was granted and they filed. The same materials can now be thoroughly inspected in the course of the tribunal sitting. All they need is the mutilated results and picking out the prefilled results. You think they don't have their copies already produced at the field? The last exercise was to fulfill all processes, so it'd not look like they got their evidence from a thirdparty. |
garfield1:on which petition did they grant the prayer for INEC to grant them access to electoral materials? |
Smartdoctor:😂 I heard ibira people are 3 times more than Igala people. Is that true? |
yussybenayu:He's running from pillars to post on top election he claims to have won fair and square. He's deploying everything to frustrate them. The panel that granted SDP's prayer by instructing INEC to allow SDP to access materials is still the same panel they're asking to check its member to avoid working for Muri. On which case file was that prayer granted? Yahaya was stupid with his style of rigging and is more stupid with his antics with the tribunal. These corrupt young lawyers are stupid. Entire judiciary is peopled by corrupt individuals. |
