Love800:I mean, Boerboels love to have a lot of space to run around and dissipate some energy. They hate feeling restrained and they will grow agitated. If you put them under chains, make sure they always stay there, else they WILL hurt someone whenever they eventually get loose. Make them part of the family, but always be strong enough to show them who's in charge. |
That's a Boerboel alright. But I take God beg you, no chain this dog. Either you have a large compound for it to always run around or you always take it out morning and evenings daily to exercise. Make sure it is friendly with the entire family to avoid stories that touch. You are a lucky man. I wish you good luck. Cute Dog. |
TheFreshVanilla:Unity among the the northern people is driven by fear (Yes), but not by ignorance or illiteracy. I think the major factor is religion. Therefore, the fear is majorly religious. About 60% of the people in the north are muslims, and they are the ones in power. There is illiteracy in the North, (Yes), but they are not ignorant. Even that is, strictly speaking mostly among the Muslim Hausa speaking people; the ones we call Almajiris. (Even these ones are not completely illiterate, they can read and write Arabic texts). They are always up to date with political happenings in and around the nation and the World at large. So do not be deceived, an average Northerner is well educated and and always aware of political happenings. They are only loyal to a religion that seem to always make them choose to settle for less, as you said. And the political and religious leaders always use that to their advantage. Many of us, non-muslim northerners also choose to resign ourselves to just taking care of our immediate family and nothing else. We do not fight for power or too much because we know we might either end up killed (Patrick Yakowa, Ishaku, etc,) or frustrated. We belong nowhere (We are not fully Northerners because we are not Muslims, and even though many are Christians, the South do not consider us among themselves). So yes, We are driven by fear; fear of the powers that be in the North and of offending the Muslim majority, and fear of not belonging. I wish we could be as stubborn as the Igbos or as competitive as the Yorubas. We do not have the numbers or the resources with which to defend ourselves when $hit hits the fan. I wish we are ethnically homogenous. |
docdes:Honestly, I sometimes wish it will happen, even though we, the non-muslims in the north will suffer the most from it. But I sometimes wish it will happen. Let the country break into its different ethnic nations. Even if not for anything, but just so we will be exposed. Just so we will see our own hypocrisy. The north has always taken the blame square in the face without throwing shades or giving blames and that is making it even stronger than the rest will ever know. The other nations in the south who, for some reasons, even though they are ethnically homogeneous, could not leverage on that common cultural strength to assert themselves, are there fighting each other on social media. The people in the north are hardly ever vocal on social media, not because they enjoy the corruption in the government, but they are not wailers. They are the worst victims of corrupt leadership in Nigeria, yet they seem more united even though they have nothing in common culturally, except for those who are muslims. That is why Nigeria will never break up unless the north allows it, which I believe, is not going to happen any decade soon; maybe, not even this century. |
What I hate the most about Nigeria is not the bad leadership, as bad as that is; bad leadership is everywhere. Besides, bad leadership itself is not the problem, it is simply a symptom of a deeper sickness that involves the entire people. The leaders did not put themselves there; we choose the kind of people we want. What I hate the most about Nigeria is not the poverty or even the insecurity in the land. Poverty is a global issue and it will be with us for a long time. Jesus himself said we will always have the poor with us. And insecurity is, sadly, a global issue too. In fact Nigeria is not even among the top most insecure nations on earth. What I hate about the most about Nigeria is not the battered economy or nationwide inflation. What I hate the most about Nigeria is the kind of culture we are building. The very things that are supposed to make our nation beautiful happen to be the very things we use to tarnish the image of our nation; what am I talking about? I am talking about our attitude towards our country and towards each other. Have you ever met a people who hate or despise the very land they came from? The very place their ancestors lived? The place their fathers fought for and defended with their blood and sweat and tears? Well, you have met Nigerians. (Sorry, I am not talking about Kemi Badenoch). A fully literate and healthy Nigerian will look at you and call his country a zoo. A Nigerian will go on a global platform to insult the land of his birth and denigrate his very own people. A Nigerian thinks nothing of portraying his country in a terrible light simply because he is not the one benefitting from the national cake. But it’s even worse. The way Nigerians see nothing in insulting other tribes or ethnic groups. The way Igbos and Yorubas are always at loggerheads on social media is so embarrassing. The way the “ethnic warriors” and “tribalists” are always quick on any post that involves a name like Emeka, Tunde or Musa. I sometimes want cover my face in shame whenever I see these things. We are building and promoting a culture of hate. Hate towards our country and hate towards our countrymen. The most embarrassing thing is that, we always think that when we condemn and deride Nigeria or fellow Nigerians on the media, we (or our own people) will somehow be respected. But it doesn’t work that way. When An Igbo person and Yoruba person insult themselves on social media, what a Ghanaian or Tunisian sees is Nigeria fighting itself. Simple. You might feel like you identify more as an Igbo man or a Yoruba man than as a Nigerian. There is nothing wrong with that, But the world will always identify you as a NIGERIAN whether you want it or not, at least, for the foreseeable future. You do not have to love Nigeria or be a patriot, but don’t disparage or condemn your country. Stop washing our dirty linens in public; the world will only laugh at us. We are disgracing ourselves in the name of “catching cruise.” Please Stop! |
I am a 33 year old dude who is looking to travel out of the country for undergraduate studies. I spent some years studying Mechanical Engineering in one of Nigeria's top universities, but due to my carelessness, I couldn't graduate. Now I have an offer from my entire extended family to go back to school for undergraduate studies in any country of my choice; that is any country asides the UK. I sometimes feel like I am too old to go back for undergraduate studies, but this is a chance for me to fix some of my mistakes and earn the trust and respect of my family. They are willing to sponsor everything as long as I am willing to continue in any STEM course of my choice. I am thinking of going to Finland to study Medicine, but the language barrier (I am kinda too old to start learning a new language just for studies). Just wondering if I should go across the pond to Canada or USA.I will prefer to study a professional course, and I will love to go the a country where I can stay and work after my studies. I will appreciate any advice. |
Here I am |
Hello!!!!!!

Hello |
Na low self esteem and self-destruct mentality go kill us finish. Is Nigeria not a major world power? We might not be as industrial and economically advanced as other nations, but we are a major market. We are a huge consumer nation and we have the population. We are a powerhouse of brilliant minds and we are open to any and every opportunity. Everybody wants to woo us and, at least, take advantage of our gullibility. So we are a major force in the world. The office of the presidency of The Federal Republic of Nigeria is rightly a World power on his own. |
MaxInDHouse:Bu... ..but most of the killings in the Bible were perpetuated, supported or encouraged by the god of the bible. There is no Islamic history without the stories of war. Judaism was established on pogroms and bloodshed. And followers of these three religions will defend with all their strength that these wars and bloodshed were justified because god ordered it. The worst evil I see in the the entire Bible (and entire history, as a matter of fact) was committed by the god of the Bible/Qur'an/Torah. And now he/she/it is threatening us with the worst thing yet imagined; an eternal hell for torture; yet followers still defend this evil. So killing is a minor thing for islam, as it is for their god. It is same for the other two religions under what they will term as "right" conditions. That is why they have such a word as 'blasphemy.' |
Odingo1:I am tempted to agree with you on this; why is Islam still one religion that takes radicalism over the top in this century? But that is the question. Islam actually embodies all the pettiness, "rawness" and primitiveness of the Abrahamic religions. That is why Islam still takes these things serious. Even in Christianity, any denomination that focuses on ritualistic formalities and rites always ends up getting offended by every little thing. It is the pettiness that gives Islam it's simplicity, but is also gives it it's blunders. |
All Abrahamic religions do/did that at one point. These religions are built on radicalism. This is why Marx said "Religion is the opiate of the masses." People will justify anything as long as you mention "God". SLAVES! |
Las-las, na still pot e go still end. |
Some people are funny. This is just like saying you will not breath because people are sneezing and coughing and smoking and ... and breathing. Forget that shit; research has found that there is absolutely nowhere in your house where you can get away from breathing faecal matter. Please stop breathing. Stop taking public flights; the cabins use recycled air. Do not go near the beach or any natural water body; our rivers are glorified gutters and the ocean is filled with all kinds of dead matter and is the final destination of all the gutters and soakaways in town. Do not build your house on land, there is absolutely nowhere on the earth surface where there is no buried human remains from hundreds and thousands of years ago. Stop kissing; you are practically exchanging millions of germs and saliva. Do not eat in a restaurant; you do not know what they put into your meals. Man, STOP! Life is about living it, just enjoy it. I understand the fear and I believe we all need to be careful, but do not become hypochondriac. Relax. |
Y'all dont know how foolish you look with this obsession about Europe |
KingCold:Yeah! This is exactly why I created this post. I wrote this in a hurry so, I forgot to point this out. We always claim it is because everyone else is jealous of us, but is it really? Even as a Nigerian, I think it is bullshit. |
WannaHowzit:Yeah! My bad. I wrote that in a hurry. I actually wanted Nigerians here to really think why people hate us; maybe because the problem is us, not them. We need to start telling ourselves the truth: Nigerians are willing to do anything for money without any care as to how it will affect the image of Nigeria. |
Honest question: Why do y'all think South Africans want Nigerians out of their country? I do not want to use the word "hate." Is it really, as many people say, because we are taking their women away? I hardly ever hear of children with Nigerian/South African parents. Or is it, as others say, because we are taking over their jobs and business? The White, Indian and Chinese South Africans are actually the real exploiters in South Africa. So why do we have fellow black people "hating" on blacks? Modified: I Nigeria may be the "Giant of Africa", but that only means we are just more populous than any other African nation: there are more Nigerians around. Unfortunately, this also means we are the biggest nuisance around (added to the fact that we are loud and arrogant). So every single bad thing we do outside the nation will come back to us in exponential measures. Even within the nation, every tribal slur, religious war or political thuggery we do is magnified exponentially. I wish every Nigerian will read the comments here and realize what we are doing to ourselves when we make money the only thing that matters.

Bams95:Wow! |
erazer: I love this. I am very happy for Di Maria and Martinez, and the GOAT too |
The Copa America is a trophy that has nations from two continents (North and South America) competing, yet some funny fan base are trying to debase it simply because their nightmare plays there. I am happy. Congratulations to all real football lovers. |
Donald Trump is evil. I will rather support Mussolini than support Trump. That been said, the two candidates make USA's democracy look like a joke. The world has been laughing at the USA since they failed to elect Hillary Clinton. |
It has to be made in China. This people are good in everything, even weirdness. |
I looooooooooooooooooove tattooos. I can marry a girl simply because of them. And I really hope I get to marry a woman who loves them too!!!!!!!!! I don't have any on me, but that's because my skin is too dark. If I see a light-skinned lady without tattoos, the first thing that always come to my mind is "What a waste!!!" |
I do not blame the Idiot. I blame the useless people. Are you so damn lazy and dumb that you can't get ten men to go into the bush and cut down timber to make this bridge? And they are even celebrating him. Very lazy bunch of people. This is something an average youth can single-handedly do in some climes. Our problem is that we are good at shouting about corruption and bad governance, but we are too 4-king lazy to stand up and be the change!!!!!! |
That's not a Chimp. That's an Orangutang |
Awww!! This is beautiful!!!! Cats are all the same, from Tigers to House cats. One of nature's best gifts to man!!!! No wonder ancient Egyptians worshipped them; they are worth it. |
This is the kind of life I pray for; To have enough money to hide and live an obscure life, away from the world! |
Airtel is more dependable and their network is superb. Here in Abuja |
Sorry, Please let me make this clear: There is not one single relationship generalization that applies to everybody. All these are just personal views. Not every man is the typical macho, insensitive cheater as we all want to make others believe. Not all women are the typical sissy and entitle b*****s we are trying to paint them. It is just up to you to create your own story and make your own choices. Not all men are like that. |
Sorry, I saw this post a few days ago on one of my favourite sites. I tried to get this picture out of my head, but it won't go. I have questions: 1. How possible is it to insert an entire glass in there? 2. How you wan take forget glass cup in there FOR FOUR GOOD YEARS? (Someone said maybe she was too embarrassed to report it) 3. Does that mean she's been celibate for that whole time? 5. How can you even think of putting something like that up there?
