legitnow1:I don’t expect any better from you and your ilk. You have normalized criminality so it is business as usual for you. Not only is criminality normal behaviour, deflecting is always your defense. What does the crimes of other people have to do with your own crime? If you are accused of theft, do you tell the judge other people steal so why are you charging me for stealing? You people are rotten to the core! It shows the depth of depravity! Your responses to the crime are worse than the crime itself. |
God1000:A most ridiculous post showing just how messed up your mind is towards criminality. |
SirLakes:Either way! |
SirLakes:I hope you realize any figures for the SW include migrant children. The population of the SW today is only half yoruba due to migration and they don’t ask for tribe when they compute these figures. |
DeepSight:GTFOOH |
DeepSight:exactly! you like all the other ignorant Nigerians make claims you cannot substantiate. figures are things that are not subjective. that is why they say figures do not lie. I asked for figures, you cannot provide figures instead you start to speak in tongues. again what makes you different from the children in Kano waving Russian flags? I tell you what makes you similar.....ignorance! They carry a flag they dont know the meaning of, you make claims you cannot back up because you comment on subjects you have no knowledge of. EEEEdiot! |
DeepSight:I am not the one changing topics here, you asked me about IMF, I agreed. I asked you to give me the figures. Actual figures that back your assertion that there is mnoney to pay subsidies without floating the naira and all you have been doing is to show your parents should have used a condom and when they did give birth to you they should not have wasted their money or the governments resources saying they are sending you to school. ignoramus talking about supplementary budget in an effort to sound enlightened to his ignorant audioence not realising he is arguing against himself. The only reason govt had money for a supplementary budget is 1) because they removed subsidies and he floated the Naira both actions resulting in more naira for the govt....the exact things you say they should not have done!!! good night!! |
DeepSight:you continue to display how simpleminded and ignorant you are. That subsidy was in the budget does not mean there was money to fund the budget. The subsidy for the previous months was borrowed that was why our debt to revenue ratio was 97% as at may 29. i read somewhere NNPC was actually owing foreign suppliers of fuel $6m for fuel they had supplied but we had not paid for. NNPC still owes foreign suppliers for fuel that had been supplied and consumed. Watch Atiku Bagudu's inteview, NNPC has not remmited money to the federation account in a long time because the money that is coming in is encumbered. Secondly a budget is simply a projection, it does not mean you have the money. |
DeepSight:you are a foooool do you not know that it is because the Naira was floated that there is additional Naira for a supplementary budget? how ignorant are you people? The reason why our debt to revenue has gone down from 97% on May 29 to 64% today is precisely because we floated the naira and because we got more naira for every dollar we had more money to retire our debts. I said answer in figures where the money is coming from without floating the naira you are fumbling granting with emotional posts give me figures. I want figures not your opinion.......you cant because it doesnt add up. is it that hard for you to say subsidy wils cost as an example $4b and we will get $4b from here? you cant because you are ignorant and you dont understand what you are talking about. if your salary is 20m a year and you have outstanding loan payments of N18m a year yetyou say you want to buy a car of N100m or even N50m wont you be able to say this is where the money for the car will come from? or you just wish a car and it appears? eeeeediot!! |
DeepSight:see yourself? You claim to be an educated person? what differentiates you from the children in Kano carrying Russian flags? THis matter is simple....answer like an educated person. this is not a question that is one of opinion, this is a question of arithmetic Tell me in figures what is government's revenue after debt service? what is the subsidy component of petrol where does that money come from? i dont need your opinion, i need figures...figures do not lie if you cannot answer then get the F out of my mentions eeeeediot! educated ignoramus, educated m0r0n |
DeepSight:you have not answered the question and i dont expect you to because clearly you are ignorant or you have no understanding of the subject matter. 97% pf youir income is earmarked for debt servicing, meaning you have only 3% left which at best is $1b. how do you fund the government pay salaries, build roads, fund schools and hospitals etc and pay for a subsidy regime that will cost you at least $6b a year? let us even say $3b of the $6B is subsidy corruption, how do you tale $1b pay salaries, build schools, build roads, pay police, fund the army and then pay subsidy of $3b with this same $1b? you have not answered o. it is easy to be an ignoramus and shout IMF and shout corruption, where is the money coming from? you are fumbling and hiding behind rhetoric, this is arithmetic, give me the figures. oga this thing is clearly above your pay grade!! |
DeepSight:None! now I hope you can also answer me. how do you expect to get the money to pay for subsidies considering 97% of our income is earmarked to debt payments? I have answered you, now I hope you can answer me. Now that we have laid the IMF issue to rest, please tell me how you pay for subsidies? I am waiting!!!! I challenge you to answer because I know you cannot. it is easy to lie behind IMF this IMF that. I am no fan of IMF, if you have read my previous posts, I am anti-west but the reality is where is the money ?? IMF or no IMF where is the money?I am waiting for your answer Mr Deep! you cant answer that is why i said in my initial response to you, "this is where we are". |
Eriokanmi:I suppose you think we should continue to borrow to pay subsidies? i suppose you think it is a good idea to continue to subsidize the wealthy to send their children abroad and banks workers to round trip the dollar? Just answer this one question: considering that as at may 29 2023, 97% of all our revenue was earmarked for debt servicing, considering that a significant portion of our future crude production had been ring-fenced as payment had been collected in advance by the Buhari regime and spent, how do you propose we pay for the subsidy on petrol from the 3% left? dont forget 3% is at best $1b and subsidy was running on $6-10B a year? dont forget it is from this 3% (less than $1b) we will pay salaries of government workers, build roads, fund our schools and hospitals. just answer this one question please....i eagerly await your response! |
DeepSight:I am simply telling you the reality. You cannot spend what you do not have. If you are borrowing g to survive and collecting g urgent 20k from friends and family, eventually you will get to a point where friends and family don’t answer you and you have to adjust your life style or taking a demeaning job or do the unthinkable to survive. That’s the reality of Nigeria. Wes re now faced with adjusting our lifestyle. Like it or not IMF or no IMF. There is no money to fund schools roads etc as well as fund forex Electricity and fuel subsidies. How we got here is immaterial, this is where we are! Do you people understand what it means when they say we were spending 97% of all government revenue to pay our loans? Imagine if you had borrowed so much or lived a false life to the point that when you get your salary, 97% of it is used to pay your loans!! It means despite having a job you probably can’t even afford to eat!! Tinubu’s in 1 year has reduced that to 64%. That is why government workers can even receive salaries talk less increase in wages, that is why we can still embark on projects. I really do t think you people u derstand that government finances had come to a stand still as at May 29. Nobody was answering our requests for urgent 20k anymore!!! |
the point here is that whatever happens, going forward, Tinubu has done the right thing and it cannot be reversed. Already there is subsidy whether they call it subsidy or not, to reduce fuel prices, you have to return to subsidized Naira, to return to subsidized Naira there will be no money for the government (dont forget when Tinubu came to power 97% of our income was deployed to repaying loans hence why Buhari printed money like a drunken sailor) .....so we will just have to bear the pain. Mark this post and save it. whoever suceeds Tinubu whether in 2027 0r 2031 will not return to the subsidy regime of either fuel or dollar...because they cannot afford to. he will be criticized but sensible people know Tinubu has done the hard work for them. |
Fantastic!! That short ENDSARS girl, the Dj, Sowore and their likes must know they can’t be causing mayhem in Nigeria while using the chaos and destruction they cause to collect NGO grants to maintain their lives abroad! |
nairavsdollars:N1000 is progress, It was N2,200 a few months ago and down to N1,200 only recently. |
The mission behind those calling for protests should now be clear to those who couldn’t see. |
SmartPolician:That’s what they all do. The dwarf Rinu that led to the destruction of Lagos is now in “assylum” in America allegedly employed as a “human rights activist” tweeting for the fooools in Nigeria to burn down their country. They all use protests to elevate themselves while the masses they call out to protest suffer even more after destroying what little the country provides for them. Below is a picture of the DJ that lied about toll gate deaths enjoying her life abroad while instigating more riots abroad.
|
Flame333:I am not sure anyone who supported this protests is in a position to talk about having sense. Things are tough but anyone who could not see the outcome of this protest is a foooool…..an eeediot!! They are now all saying it is enough….they didn’t know before that this is how things will evolve? You have probably unleashed a process that at best achieves nothing for the cause and at worst …..God only knows! And it is now beyond your control. So well done….clap for yourselves. Let me make sure my passport is close by. |
Flame333:What you have started there may be no country in 2027. Perhaps that’s the mission of those gaslighting you into a protest at this sensitive time. Some of us have foreign passports but we chose to remain in Nigeria. If you kill the country, we will leave it for you and then you will tell us what you acheived with your protest. |
Momodu should stick to owambe photo journalism and professional asslicking. A big problem with Nigeria is we have elevated too many 1mbeciles to our public consciousness especially as social, political and economic commentators. |
cococandy:I have engaged you enough. I have no time for a woman who of all the handles she can choose chooses “cococandy”. It says a lot. I don’t engage such women in real life. Y Your low level views and intellect is reflected in the handle you chose. Strippers are paid to take off their clothes and dance not to be engaged in conversation. |
1stGenAmerican:You are just mentally enslaved! The only blacks supporting her are African immigrants. The real black Americans(Not you fake African JJCs) are not behind her. Black Americans are learning but as usual it is the Africans who were not enslaved that are enslaving themselves. What did Obama do for blacks as a president? https://www.newsweek.com/candace-owens-donald-trump-kamala-harris-race-black-indian-1933962 Black Americans are particularly annoyed that African immigrants are the ones supporting Kamala because to them she doesn’t represent them.
|
Cherrybae:Blacks are rejecting her for trying to appropriate their identity. She is Indian and has never identified as black till now. Her father was Irish whose ancestors owned black slaves in Jamaica. Her birth certificate describes her father as Caucasian and her mother though Indian as Caucasian. |
Xxxxtentacion2:She can’t win. America is heading for an economic slow down just around the time of the elections. As Bill Clinton famously said “it’s the economy stupid”. She is a luxury candidate, the kind of person you elect in good times. When push comes to shove, the economy will talk and Americans trust Trump over Harris on the economy. Mark my words. My election prediction record so far is 100% Plus she is currently alienating Indians by acting black and pissing off blacks for trying to hijeck their identity and paint herself as black. |
Fooolish old man. When he was shouting protests protest with all his years on earth, he didn’t know the consequences? Has he not been on this earth and particularly Nigeria long enough to know the behaviour of his people? You call for 10 days of strike because people are hungry….10 days o! ….and you think at some point it won’t degenerate into riots and looting, police and army…killing of protesters? What planet does this foolish man live on? This is the problem I have with some of our English speaking educated folk. They act like they are living in the west. |
shortgun:if he takes you back to where he met you the situation you will find yourselves will be worse than now. There wont even be any petrol to buy because we we so deep in debt our foreign suppliers would not sell petrol to us. There would be no forex to import food and there would not be enough naira to fund the government. The government would be forced to continue printing money leading to inflation and eventually we would default on our debts making imports even harder..... the long and short is the economy Buhari left behind was less than a month or 2 away from collapse. Venezuela style. If thats where you want to go fine, I dont want to go there. We had 2 choices, we were heading for Venezuela or we tighten our belts and endure the pains we refused to embrace for decades. I have said this many times the only problem I have is that the government asked to people to tighten their belts wile they continue living large at tax payers expense. Bad optics!!! Every single presidential candidate said they would remove subsidy from Day1 because they all knew how bad it was. I just watched a video of Obi saying "from day 1" The Nigeria of cheap imports and N185 petrol is gone! its not coming back no matter what you do. Like i said if it comes back there will be no petrol to buy and the black market rate will rise to possibly N2000. food prices will rise as a result which means remove subsidy or dont remove subsidy where we are now is inevitable and unavoidable. At least under this environment we are in control of our destiny. |
Theama:Nobody (Nigerian) gainfully employed has time or energy to protest abroad. Every legitimate dollar you earn abroad, you go feel am for your body or your brain. By the time you finish your shift you are too mentally or physically tired to protest. Nigerian workers do not know how lucky they are. Abroad is not like Nigeria where they pay you for doing nothing. Besides someone doing shift work is exactly the kind of person who works every second of the shift. Only students, unemployed, and fraudsters have time to protest. The other category are “professional activists” whose visa or stay is based on asylum like those who led endsars riots and used it to gain asylum abroad….we won’t mention their names. But their voices are conspicuously silent now that they have secured asylum visas abroad. |
TruthsFM:This is how to know Nigerians who are unemployed abroad. |
Nonybb:You are an unpatriotic fooool |
It is irresponsible for the elite and so called activists to call for a protest when they know how these things always end. |
