If wheat grew in Ife yeas ago why can't we grow it now?

The species should be analyzed let's see if we can extract some genes from it so we can formulate morden wheats to grow in sub Saharan Africa... Once that's done it would change a lot
Did you actually read what was posted and if you did where was your powers of deduction?

Wheat does not grow in humid environments so clearly at the time the weather is Ife was not that humid. Weather patterns change over time.

Those advising this man are so dumb
His followers are dumb and like this sort of thing.. the only thing they haven’t seemed to realize is that his followers are not enough to put him in office and the people whose votes he needs don’t buy into this sort of nonsense.

AKA he is appealing to his base or preaching to the converted. Unfortunately for him they are not enough to make him president. This sort of beahaviour is as appealing to his base as it is repulsive to the very voters he needs to be president. He needs to appeal to those who didn’t vote for him , not those whose votes are already locked in.

Has he gained any new supporters as a result of all the congratulations, condolences and constant grabbing of attention? The answer is no…even his own camp is falling apart. I can bet you if anything he has lost supporters because a large section of his support in 2023 came from fear of a Muslim Muslim ticket. Now the non Ibos have 4 years to truly examine the man. He isn’t helping himself.

Will you marry a man if you know he is unlikely to be able to provide?

The purpose of a man is to provide, the purpose of a woman to to procreate. A man or a woman who cannot perform their primary function for existing is of no use as a wife or husband.

Let nobody deceive you and let your ego not get the better of you. As a woman If you cannot give birth your only purpose to a man is as a side chick. If you cannot provide as a man, you will have to settle for somebody else’s baby mama, a desperate woman, or some other form of bottom of the barrel woman and you should consider yourself lucky and be ready to collect insults as part of the deal.

Do you know how Nnamdi Kanu was brought to Nigeria?
You people should stop supporting evil and be claiming ignorants
If I recall correctly, you are the same imbec1les that said Obi’s lawyer has never lost a case. And we told you there is no lawyer who has never lost a case and that based on the law he cannot win. But in your usual manner you argue against commen sense and logic.

casualobserver:
That’s why you went to court and the judges tongue lashed your “never lost a case” SANS for embarrassing the legal profession.
Read the law you won’t. You will be arguing based on emotion. Then law is very clear….FCT. no longer belongs to the indigenes. You can argue they have not received their full compensation or relocation as per the law created ating the FCT but the land is no longer theirs.

Reading will not make you go blind and familiarization with the law may actually stop you making further asses of yourselves….if that is possible.

Obidients we’re claiming their lawyer had never lost a case! Lol

we told them o, we said the case is so flimsy it is an insult to even spend time responding. They said their lawyer has never lost a case, we told them their is lo lawyer that has never lost a case and if it is indeed true this will be his first.

People are paying millions in private universities and I can beat my chest and tell you that the graduates being rolled out by the private universities can't compete with those from federal universities.
Most Nigerian universities need to upgrade first-to be standard and inline with the present realities of the new world and not those their old paper based lecturing they are dishing out to their students.
Private universities are not equal but there is a reason why covenant university has overtaken all Nigerian universities perhaps with exception of UI.

And where is the money for this upgrade to come from…from the yeye N45k tuition?

Then the minimum wage of their parents should be raised to a million naira too.
It doesn’t work like that. You don’t say pay me the money for a well educated graduate and then I will go and get re-educated like a well educated graduate. You don’t say pay me salary upfront then I will work. You don’t say marry me 1st then I will show you I am worth marrying.

The way to solve the problem is to raise the fees of local universities to a level where they can compete with foreign universities abroad like it was in the 1960s-80s. The good thing is it won’t be anywhere as much as foreign fees. If the amount for a truly competitive university system is N4m then double it. Those who are paying N20-40m+ abroad would gladly send their kids to universities here. The only reason they send their kids abroad is because they know the quality here is very very low.

Why did I say double it? That way 1 fee paying student can subsidize the fees for a poor student and it will still be less than going abroad. That solves the problem of affordability for poor students and raises the quality of the degrees. It also ensures that both rich and poor can obtain good degrees that are worth more in the market than N45,000 salary.

After paying 2 million naira in UNILAG and the job if any available for you is 45,000 naira.
The reason the job available is N45000 is because you paid N45,000 in tuition. Nobody pays millions in university tuition to obtain a job of N45,000.

By raising the fees you raise the quality (academic and mental) of the graduates. By raising the quality of the graduates, you raise their value in the market.

That's why we really need to drop that illusion that Nigeria is a rich country. I don talk tire! For Nigeria to be rich, we have to get smart people to harness all untapped potential. We cannot continue to be obsessed with crude oil because we are getting a meagre $50 billion from it per annum.
We don’t even get that much. Right now it is less than half of that. People seem to always forget that 1) there is cost of production and in Nigeria it is very high (a few years ago it was $20 a barrel. 2) the oil companies take their share. Which in many cases especially offshore is as high as 40%. Put it this way, for a few years now, Nigeria gets more forex from diaspora remittances than it makes from oil.

Your comment is the reason why Nigeria will always be underdeveloped. You and your like must always find a way to bring politics, tribe or religion into matters that have nothing to do with such.

Abacha was only head of state for, 5 yrs, OBJ was only president 8 years, Buhari 8yrs, GEJ 6 yrs. All of them got abused. They came got abused they left, nothing changed for you. Tinubu will spend a maximum of 8yrs but nothing will change in your life and for most Nigerians because the problem of Nigeria are Nigerians.

These people are ignorant, daft or both. The UK cannot intervene in a criminal matter involving a dual national in his country of 2nd citizenship. Just like if you are a Nigerian with British citizenship and you get into trouble while in Britain, Nigeria cannot intervene.

But if it were tinubu that went to visit her now you wouldn't have said this rubbish you just said. Your foolishness really knows no bounds. Idiot
That is the point you numbskull. Tinubu won’t allow such a person to vist him talk less visit such a person. It smacks of desperation, it’s low level, it shows extreme desperation.

Tinubu has been in the public space for over 30 years when have you seen him do such?

It is bad enough to associate himself with such foolishness, you don’t sink further by being the one going to visit.

If you aspire to be president, act presidential. Which one is Guinness record for cooking for God’s sake! A president or one who aspires to be one must know the kinds of things he responds to, the situations or environments he is seen at or people or causes he associates himself with. It’s not every dog that barks you respond to.

Again this is just low level bottom of the barrel extreme desperation. Very unbecoming!,,,
