Bentacur007:Your people never learn. He has no authority. He is making the same mistake that he made in the beginning. Joining APC means nothing. Tinubu would rather have Wike on his side than as his enemy. Wike is more of an asset than Fubara. Given the choice Fubara is expendable. He may not even get the ticket for second term. He is also showing himself as a man that can’t be trusted. |
shadrach77:People who do things out of sincerity do it quietly. Even the Bible says when you give with one hand don’t let the other hand know. When you carry camera to film your gift, it is yourself you are serving. The guy is fortunate that the stars aligned for him and he. Was the pawn in her latest publicity seeking drama sketch but this is not altruistic. |
NaijaNaWaa:They are dullest people in the senate. Someone who isn’t familiar with Nigeria who listens to the northern senators speak and compares them, will think the Ibos are the uneducated North they hear about and the Northern senators are the well educated southerners. In fact some of the most intelligent senators i love listening to most on the senate are actually Northerners. When a Northern man is properly educated, they are a different breed. In articulation, in poise in intellect. Ofcourse not to say they don’t have dodgy senators but as for SE. Uzor Kalu is probably the best they have and he is just so so! Have you ever listened to that clown with the red cap speak? Umeh I think his name is. No zone sends more clowns to the house and senate like the Ibos. |
Mrexcell:What’ve you not noticed that their educated folk talk just like those who never went to school? |
zeuss:And maybe we should list the Christian zone that where terrorists have killed 30,000 people. Point is mind your business. Fix your zone and you won’t care what others are doing in their zone. Some people are the ones contributing the most vat, some are the ones contributing the most forex, some the most crude but it’s always those leeching and contributing nothing bit killing people with fake drugs, fake everything, just yesterday I saw a video about fake Fufu, who cannot stay in their own house because they keep fighting themselves that always have a problems with their neighbors affairs. There is nothing wrong with a ban on alchohol. Iceland, Finland, Norway, Russia and even the USA have at one time banned alcohol. None is a Muslim society. Every society has a right to act in what it deems to be the in public good as defined by its Perculiar situation. When I was a student in the UK you couldn’t buy alchohol after midnight or or sundays. That’s where the name “off license” come from. Finally, we would be a better country if we were more tolerant and sensitive to our differences. We have Sunday to worship, Muslims have to go to work on their day or worship. In Muslim countries, Friday is a day off. The entire school calendar is designed around Christian holidays. Do you hear them complain? Can we just allow them to have their sharia that does not apply to Christians? Must we challenge everything? |
zeuss:I am not an advocate of Sharia law. The reason I post is the repeated failure to respect other people’s culture and values by a certain group of people. We are a country of people with different values, cultures and religions. People should learn to respect other people’s culture and values. We are a federation. Please educate yourselves. In a federation laws will differ from unit to unit based on the relevant society. It is not the business of a non Kano indigine to protest the laws of Kano state. If you don’t like it don’t live there and if you must go there on business I am sure you can endure lack of alchohol for a little while. If it works for them good for them, if not they will modify their laws themselves. A Muslim man from Kano will not tell the people of Anambra to ban sale of pork or alchohol if he believes in sharia. If he has business in Anambra he will endure, respect his hosts, conduct his business and go home. It’s always some people trying to force their ways on others. And to those who keep shouting secular secular. Secular simply means their is no national religion |
zeuss:Shall we begin to list the states that contribute little to the national purse and get 2-3 times what the contribute? |
zeuss:Why are you selling alcohol when the state has banned it? Lagos passed a law that you can’t smoke in enclosed buildings did you protest that? The right that Lagos has in banning smoking that is same as the right that Kano has to ban alchohol. Many of you need better civic education. It is clear you don’t know what a Sub-National federating unit means.

stanluiz:It’s like saying there are white men in Nigeria. What you don’t know is the white men in Nigeria are 95% the dregs of white society. They days when Nigeria was a good posting are gone. Any white man you see in Nigeria particularly in the last 30yrs are ex criminals, scammers, south Africans, Eastern Europeans who themselves are not much better than Nigeria or people running from the law in their home country . A yoruba man goes to the east to drive taxi or sell Agbo? E get why. Check well he is wanted by the police, or for some reason he is hiding not that he went there to seek a better life. I have no further desire to engage you. So you are now blocked! |
LegendHero:If it were that easy, it would have been done. The Northerners are tired of the Fulanis and universally in the south we are tired of the Ibos. The whole country is tired of both. However, it’s not that simple. |
stanluiz:The true test of how a region or country has managed its affairs is migration. When a yoruba man leaves the SW he goes abroad, you won’t see a non educated yoruba man migrate to the SE, talk less our graduates. When an Ibo man migrates he goes to the SW. Ibo graduates find they can make a better life for themselves in the SW, talk less the plebeians. NOBODY MIGRATES TO THE SE! End of discussion. Edit: 1: sharia law has been in all constitutions since 1954….I repeat All. I am not a fan of Obasanjo but he hasn’t got the power to stop sharia law. The constitution grants all states the power. It’s not a law a president can override. Again a disiplay of eeeeegnoorance. 2: it is ironic that the Ibos shouting sharia will condemn a law that doesn’t apply to them in Nigeria but willingly travel to places where sharia law applies to them e.g UAE and Indonesia especially on their drug missions. |
stanluiz:There is sharia in the SW. even the Lagos where all you refugees run to after destroying your zone with intolerance and “it must be my way or we burn the house” mentality has sharia councils. You don’t know because they don’t disturb Christians and it is voluntary for Muslims. This is how a Federation works, federating units have laws based on the peculiarities of the federating unit. Some hhhhdeeeehots from a different region culture and value system failing to respect difference and trying to tell others how to organize themselves instead of facing the matters in his zone is always the cause of all problems in this country. like I said most of you are actually very ignorant. I hope you can see the date below
|
MEGAWATCH:And you are an ibo man, your people have lived and traded in North with Sharia law from time immemorial. If it applied to you, you won’t be there. S’more importantly, your zone with homogenous Christian’s and no sharia law is a haven for kidnapping terrorism and has become a wasteland with little to no economic activity.. Shame would dictate that are some topics an ibo man should not put his mouth inside considering how they have managed their affairs. |
CyynthiaKiss:The problem is many so called educated Nigerians are actually very eeegknorhant. Nigeria has always had sharia law in the North. It existed under colonial rule and it has existed since independence. Nigeria is a federation. That means each federating unit is free to make its own laws. Just like in America which is also a federation, there are different laws in different states. For instance in some states you must have ID to vote, it some it is not required. Yet they are all voting in the same election. The sharia court of appeal is actually enshrined in the constitution and has been enshrined in every constitution before and since independence. We’ve had Shari from day 1, it doesn’t apply to Christians, it was never an issue, why suddenly is it an issue? Whatever problems we have today have nothing to do with sharia law. I am a Christian. Like I said many are eegknorrhant.

Streetinvestor2:Read your last post gain. Once again you made a Freudian slip. All you did in that post was display your inherent inferiority complex relative to the Yoruba man. All your measures of success are defined in relation to the yoruba. How many properties you have in Yoruba land, how much money you have compared to a Yoruba man etc. how pathetic! you will never see a Yoruba man measure his success by comparing himself to an ibo man. In Yoruba land, we say it’s the horse in front we look at not the one behind. Finally money is not the primary measure of succes for a Yoruba man. If I recall, it is no6 or 7 in the list of attributes of an omoluabi. So flashing money at a Yoruba man means nothing. In any event how much money do you even have? Upon all your noise there is no certified ibo $ billionaire just hype and propaganda. How about measuring the state of your region? Yorubaland will always be Yoruba land and all land purchased after 1977 is leased land. A cofo is simply a long term rental agreement. I will repeat what a Yoruba King once told me, “whatever size of land you want I will give you, you can’t take the land away with you. You can’t really pass it on to your children beyond 1 generation and at some point they will have to renew the lease or everything on it reverts to the original owner and there is no obligation to renew but even if it is renewed, it will be renewed at a much higher price thanks to your “development”. Plus the closer you get to the end of the lease the lower the value because you only have a few years left. So who is the phool for bragging that he developed another man’s land while his becomes a wasteland? |
Streetinvestor2:Congratulations, well done and clap for yourselves. Can we have peace now? |
The angry birds won’t like this. |
Streetinvestor2:You people need to decide whether you want to have an Ibo president or you are happy with just insulting people. If you want an Ibo president, Obi is not your man. If you are ok with insulting people, I am sure Tinubu can endure your abuses. In 50yrs your grand children will look at the list of Nigerian presidents….it will say: Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR (yoruba man). 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 2023-2031. They will keep looking and there will no mention of Peter Obi because history forgets losers. I wish I could say that after 2027 you will realize what backing Obi has cost you politically but history has shown you never learn. 2039 is sealed and delivered for the SS which means your next possibility is 2055. Of you continue with this behavior, you won’t get it then either. There are over 300 tribes in Nigeria, there is no law that says an Ibo man must be president. |
Streetinvestor2:Your post is a freudan slip manifestation of the reason Tinubu will win again. You are so obsessed with tribe in your thoughts on the presidency that you forget that Ibo votes are not enough and you actually need to present a candidate with a track record that you can sell to others. I was just reading that obi never paid minimum wage in his 8 yrs as governor. |
All I can say is thank God elections are less than 14 months away. So we can finally bury the political careers of Obi and Atiku and hopefully credible people will start to emerge from the opposition. Nigeria needs credible characters in opposition not these charlatans! These caliber of opposition characters are a joke! How Kanu and Obi became leaders in a society of supposed educated people needs to be studied in political science classes. |
Smartguyboy:I think he means 1.5m a year! Big money lol |
FreeStuffsNG:I don’t think we’ve built any significant new roads. Most of the road construction since 1999 are renovations and expansion of existing roads. The only new roads I can think of in the last 26 years of democracy are Lagos Calabar, sokoto badagry, Bodo Bonny, 2nd Niger bridge road. They are mostly uncompleted aand these 2 combined they are not up to 2000km. Add another 1000km that I may not know of and the total isn’t up to 3000km Take Lagos for example, the only new roads I can think of since 1999 are Lagos-Calabar. add Lekki bridge, opebi bridge. Everything else is renovation or lane expansion. |
For those who can’t read like the last person who quoted me whom I have now blocked. I only gave the example of the US diplomatic report on Dangote for 2005. I specifically said there is another one which showed they had been monitoring him since his early days. I said in the post I will look for it. The report specifically talks about his lifestyle as a young man in Miami. So he was clearly already being monitored as far back as his twenties once they identified him as a major player in the commodities sector. Then he was into sugar and raw material exports. Again for those who can’t read this was late 80s/early 90s. They already had files on Dangote as a person of interest. As at 2005, Dangote was a household name only in Nigeria. The world first heard of him when he suggested he wanted to buy Arsenal. That was closer to 2008 The point anyway is there is nothing that goes on in Nigeria the Americans don’t know about. The EU and the UK issued statements without having to visit for fake fact finding missions. They all know what is happening.l because they all have intel. They also have secret agents and paid informants amongst us Nigerians. In the private sector and in govt. Let me also tell you something, I don’t know the American tactic for recruiting agents but I know that the British recruited secret agents/informants amongst Nigerian students who studied in their top universities in particular Cambridge and Oxford in the 1960s. Many of them became top civil servants but were British spies. |
Nwaikpe:Really? Why did Trump say South African white Christians who aren’t being killed in SA can come to America but he is not saying so to Nigerian christians who are actually being killed? You are black, you are looked down upon equally by the whites, Arabs, even Indians. If you think taking on their religion, speaking their language or acquiring their education or wearing their clothes makes you equal in their eyes, then you deserve to to be looked down upon. I hope people can see why the whites no longer needed slavery or colonization. Give a man your religion, give him your language, give him your education, give him your version of history and your job is done. Why enslave a man when he is willing to worship you freely? He thinks he is one of them…what a joke! I |
Ekpeitut:I agree with your last statement. I don’t need to explain the realities of Nigeria to a fellow Nigerian if you are intelligent and sincere without an agenda. We know the realities of our country, you don’t need an explanation from me and I am not wasting my time offering one. I am not in this thread taking a position on the happening in Nigeria. My position is on the lack of sincerity on the part of the Americans. |
Truthissupreme:Because they never intended to invade, the plan all along was to bully What does America want Contrary to what people think it isn’t minerals or oil. It is the dollar and curtailing China influence. America is a bankrupt country that can’t pay its debts. It is only surviving because it prints the dollar and the dollar is the currency of global trade. If the dollar stops being the currency of global trade the ponzu scheme collapses. Have you not wondered why you can see mint new dollars easily in Nigeria but never pounds or Euros? China is our largest trading partner, why is it it is dollars you see not yuan? 1. Previously Nigeria sold its crude in dollars. A week before trump lost his mind and threatened us, we started accepting payment for crude in currencies other than the dollar. 2: previously if you wanted to make a trade with South Africa, your bank would first buy dollars then convert to rand (that’s how it works behind the scenes) . What this means is it creates demand for dollars despite not purchasing anything in America. Every time you convert, a corresponding bank takes a commission and American bank is always involved despite it being a transaction between a Nigerian bank and an African bank. Africa is implementing a continental payment scheme that bypasses the dollar where you can pay directly to another African country without buying dollars or utilizing an American bank. 3: This is why they killed Ghaddafi….because he was planning a new African currency that bypasses the dollar. |
America is not here for Christians, America is here for America….that means money….it’s all they care about. Those pushing a christian genocide agenda who think America is here to protect them will be disappointed. Similarly on the govt side those who are celebrating because Riley took pictures with Ribadu will equally be disappointed. America has an Embassy in Nigeria, their ambassador is not here to take pictures. Which American businesses do you see in Nigeria to justify building the largest US embassy outside the USA, if you are not promoting US businesses in Nigeria what is the US embassy doing in Nigeria? Simple! the answer is Intel and covert operations! This is the same America that was compiling intel reports on Aliko Dangote as far back as his early 20s when he was just a regular businessman. They have intelligence on Nigeria, they know more about Nigeria than we do. Riley is not here on a fact finding mission. It’s just optics. before leaving America, they had already concluded that Christian genocide is the leverage they are going to use to muscle their way into Nigeria and that is going to be the conclusion of their report. Did you see Riley visit any mosques or Muslim hit areas? That tells you he is not interested in truth but the appearance of fact finding. They will submit a report that there is Christian genocide and they will use it as leverage to muscle their way into favorable economic deals. If they do t get their way, they will fund the terrorists they have been funding and use it to create more mayhem in order to reinforce their narrative. America doesn’t care about Christian killings. Nigerian Christians are not white christians, If more Christian’s have to die to give America more leverage they will facilitate more Christian deaths. That’s how America rolls. After all who brought the terrorists in the first place and who as funding them?. Did we have Boko Haram before Iraq invasion, did we have Fulani herdsmen before Libyan invasion? Who funded Taliban, who invaded Afghanistan and after all of it, is the leadership of Afghanistan today not the same Taliban approved by the same US? Who are we kidding? Below is America’s diplomatic cable from the Nigerian embassy’s to Washington. This was when most of the world had not heard of Dangote. There is one they sent as far as the late 80s/early 90s that I will look for. They all came out in Wikileaks. I am posting this so people know Riley’s visit is a sham! There is nothing of interest going on in Nigeria they don’t know about, that’s why they have an embassy. They know the true position without having to vist. Also did you notice all the people who came are republican? Because the democrats know it’s an agenda.

So who are those people selling agbo herbal drinks in the SE in their hundreds ? I guess they are ijaw people right ?
