chudez0147:Future ADC primary delegate. Better go join ADC in your state and position yourself as delegate. Dollar rain is coming! |
chudez0147:Future ADC primary delegate. |
Curious345:Atiku will be sharing money, you won’t resign from PDP that has no money to collect your own? |
nedu666:Some of you just post like education and the intelligence gene skipped you. Fighting a terrorist is different from fighting a conventional army or war. To start with you know who they are and where they are. Secondly there are rules of engagement that govern conventional armies when they fight ch other. Terrorists do not sign up to the Geneva convention. |
coolcharm:A man who ignores the rats in his neighbors house will eventually find his home infested with rats. |
descarado:America is not interested in our crude or our minerals. America’s interest in Nigeria is 1) dollar and 2) China. Their interest in Nigeria is only because they know if China gets a foothold in Nigeria, it will be the major power that controls Africa economically as it currently does. The other interest is like I said the dollar. It’s for the same reason they killed Ghaddafi. Which minerals do we have they can’t get in Congo where they have signed a deal? Americas interest in Nigeria is to. Stop the expansion of China and to halt the decline of the dolllar. Everything else is just a distraction…..noise! There are no minerals we have they don’t have in other more compliant African countries in many cases far exceeding what we have for less hassle. Our minerals may be a nice to have but they are not the objective. Let’s take crude for example, America is more concerned that Dangote Refinery will control the entire west and southern African market because those are the customers for its own refineries than it is with our crude reserves. They really don’t care about our crude. They went from our largest customer for crude in the 70s to almost nothing under Bush/Obama. They don’t need our crude. Any problem they may have is down to Dangote taking away their export markets in Africa for refined products and not our actual crude. Remmember when you were a kid an an uncle or visitor would give you money and your mom will take it? That’s what America is doing. They want to control what we do not that they need our resources. Same way as your mom wants to control how much money you have not that she needs the money herself. Please understand 2 things. After the Vietnam and Iraq wars, the humiliation in Mogadishu etc, troops on the ground is very unpopular in America. America is not invading Nigeria or even Venezuela that has the worlds largest crude reserves. It’s all threats aand noise. Secondly, America is not interested in our resources. Certainly not as a primary goal. It’s about their survival and supremacy of America and the 2 threats to that are the dollar and China. So if for any reason they show interest it’s not because they want it, it’s because they don’t want China to have it…..2 different things. |
nairalanda1:Even the so called Christian genocide in Nigeria has nothing to do with Christians or even minerals. It is about the dollar. Many don’t realize that less than 2 weeks before Trump went beserk, Nigeria started accepting payments for crude in non dollar currencies. Not only that we just spearheaded the launch of an inter African payment system that bypasses the dollar for continental trade. I think it’s called the papss settlement system. It means traders within Africa no longer require the dollar for settlements. These are the real issues not terrorism or love of Christians. Unfortunately the majority of us are too uninformed. The only tools the west have against non compliant regimes are 1) sanctions and 2) regime change. Despite all the noise from Trump regime change that involves troops on the ground is not popular with the American public. Most countries are insulating themselves and their reserves from western sanctions since they seized Russia’s assets. All they can really do is symbolica visa bans to officials who have no desire to be in America in the first place.

The reason why we are witnessing coups is because the west has lost its power to sanction. The USA and Europe are no longer the democracy police they once were. The world has split into 2 powerful economic blocks with China Russia, India etc etc on the other side. The democracy police block Europe are facing existential threats to bothered with economic implosion, home inflation and the war in Ukraine. In the USA, Trump is too busy trying to save the dollar and hence the US economy which is a globalized ponzi scheme propped up by forcing the world to use an financial system based on a dollar they print at will to be distracted with which country is a democracy or not. Basically the democracy police have been weakened and are too busy distracted with numerous internal crises at the police station to attend to those breaking the democracy law. The west seized $300b of Russian reserves annd banned Russian oil and the result is it has backfired economically and triggered energy inflation in Europe and the destruction of European economies as well as alerted other nations to the dangers of reliance on or holding reserves in dollars or a western banking system that can be seized. They are now too busy trying to fix their mess to pay attention to what is happening in small countries. |
Iceberg3:What’s the Yoruba name? |
Osiris12:He is Yoruba, his father’s name was folorunsho. |
When did abdulrasaq become a Fulani? |
Since the return to democracy in 1999, APC has built or reconstructed far more roads than PDP. It’s not even a contest. If you disagree, feel free to name the PDP roads. |
ddippset:Wike was asked if he was corrupt on TV. His response was “I have not been convicted”. He never said he is clean. He even said I like money. I will trust such a man over a Peter Obi or any one who we know has dipped his hand in the till but pretends to be clean anytime. There is honor even amongst thieves |
Racheal45:Tinubu has no business or power in the Obaship of Ijebu. only the governor of ogun state has such powers to install or remove. |
Salewa97:what makes you assume Wike is lying? he is a lawyer, he was the governor, he has inside knowledge. that I sue you for defamation (especially in Nigeria) does not mean I am right. The act of suing for defamation itself is a play. Show me a case where the case has gone to the end. i am not saying Wike is right or wrong or Cole is right or wrong but in Nigeria suing for defamation means nothing. The case will drag for years. The litigant will say his accuser was lying and to prove I have sued him, usually the matter will die down, the matter will die and thats the last you will hear of the matter. Didnt Afe Babalola Sue Farotinmi for defamation, what happened? Today both sides will claim victory, one will say I was begged to withdraw the suit, the other will say God saved him he withdrew the suit. So the fact that you make an allegation and I sue you doesnt mean you are not right. The day this case goes to judgement is the day you can say Wike was talking anyhow, if it was proved so in court. just like Obi's case against Adeyanju, the day you hear a judge delivered judgement come back and lets talk. In both cases i am sure we will never have to talk. |
These Africans never learn. Name one African country that has benefited and grown from being an American lapdog? |
Goke7:yes i am fully aware, most of the noise coming from the US (including the invasion of Nigeria BTW) is just noise for domestic consumption. |
HonNL:he must be an ibo man at heart. he talks just like them. Focus attention on a group of people to deflect attention from what you are doing. In reality the goal of both sides is invasion and domination...just with different methods. I laughed today at the ibos senators talking about terrorism while pledging allegiance to their own terrorist. the audacity of an ibo senator to open his mouth with bold face and talk of the dangers of terrorism while pleading for the release of kanu. |
Assuming but not conceeding that there is a christian genocide in Nigeria, the perpetrators are not the kind of people who are interested in going to the USA. Such people (by definition if you think about it) are more likely to want to travel to places like the UAE or Saudi on vacation. Even I who is a christian who does not need a visa to travel to the USA, have no interest in visiting the USA anymore. If you have truly travelled, you will realise just how backward and unappealing the USA is compared to many countries. these Americans overate themselves. |
