givedemwotowoto:
From Sept 1, 2025, Nigerians will pay N100,000 for a standard international passport. According to the Nigeria Immigration Service, the cost was increased in a bid to uphold the quality and integrity of the Nigerian Passport.

Obviously, the cost of getting an international passport is now higher than the national minimum wage and I was curious, so I looked up how passport fees compare with monthly minimum wage globally (including African countries) and this is what I found. The percentages show how much of the minimum wage it takes to afford a passport:
What an uninformed comment. What is a minimum wage person doing with a passport? Where did he get the money to travel on minimum wage?

Some were retired in 2023 but they are still reporting for work. Obi, ElRufai and Atiku come to mind.

It’s the clown who was never passed the employment interview, acting like he is a permanent staff that kills me.

Exactly.

No serious Igbo businessman or professional wants to to hear the word “secession”.

The word is an abomination to them.

Imagine telling them to “leave Nigeria”.

Abandon Abuja, Lagos, Kaduna etc and just be confined to Aba and Onitsha?

It’s like an insult to them.
The biggest beneficiaries of Nigeria are the Ibos. That’s why they are all over the country. Their land is not enough for them to thrive. And they are the only ones who cannot thrive in their land considering their population and resources.

And that’s why I pay no attention to their gaslighting.

How old were you when you learnt that 9-5 is 9hrs a day, 5days a week and not 9am-5pm
9-5 is 9 am to 5pm. Which is the standard work day in the UK with 1/2 hr lunch break

In Nigeria the standard work day is 8am-4pm

Stop spreading misinformation, the standard work day as set by the INternational Labour organisation is 8hrs a day. These are international labour laws

In some countries it is 9-5 only because of daylight saving time etc otherwise the standard working day is 8hrs.

Kukutente23:
The bolded is your imagination. I already shared a screenshot of what he said made him leave PDP

This is a screenshot from Punch a reputable news outlet who quoted him verbatim yet you're making up silly stories about representation of SE in APC as if Ogbonnaya Onu and Okorocha were not among the founding fathers of APC. How can someone be so addicted to making things up like this? Oya provide any evidence from any source whatsoever that your bolded claim is from Umahi like I just did with the Punch screenshot
If you think Okorocha, Onu or hope had or have any chance of being a presidential candidate for APC you need more than your brain examined. Since when did founding member make you a default presidential favorite or mean you will rise to the top or that you are automatically a key decision maker? Was ElRufai not a foundation member, was he not denied ministerial post? Such low level thinking you exhibit all the time in your posts.

In any event I am not going to aid you diverting the topic. You conjured up a tale that Umahi left PDP because It did not zone the ticket to the SE. I proved this is one of your numerous made up stories.

I have blocked you at least 3 times in the past and you’ve just earned your 4th. Unfortunately Nairaland blocks are temporary.

Obi left because he was told by Atiku he could not guarantee him the VP slot. Do what you want with that while you serve your block!

PDP does not microzone! Ekweremadu contested against Obasanjo The way I was raised and educated, I will take 2 minutes to google the PDP constitution and thankfully it is available online and do a word search for “zoning” before coming online to make a …… of myself.

1998 PDP primaries:

OLUSEGUN OBASANJO 1,658 67.98%
ALEX EKWUEME 521 21.36%
DON ETIEBET 106 4.35%
GRAHAM DOUGLAS 71 2.91%
JIM NWOBODO 59 2.42%
PHILIP ASIODU 12 0.49%
FRANCIS ELLAH 12 0.49%

Kukutente23:
Point of correction. PDP never zoned its ticket in 2023. You seem preoccupied with making things up.
I remember now that I once corrected you on the same lie.
Sometimes all you have to do is just ask Google and you'll get a very definite clear answer. Read below for what Umahi said made him leave PDP in 2020 to be precise. Again you erroneously claimed he left in 2021

https://punchng.com/why-i-left-pdp-umahi/

The matter is not that important to you yet you keep repeating it. Not important indeed!!
Rest
You are being pedantic. Whether they zoned or threw it open, the point is Their decision was not made until April 2022 by which time Umahi was almost 2 years a member of APC. Do you see what I mean when I say I don’t have any regard for you, that you mould the facts to fit your narrative and that producing evidence for you is a waste of time?

I just proved to you that the statement you made about Umahi was false, instead you are arguing over whether they zoned or didn’t! Deciding to throw it open is also zoning. The point is their decision on zoning was made almost 2 years after Umahi left the party and yet you say Umahi left because they didn’t zone to the SE!

The point is you lied! You said Umahi left PDP because PDP refused to some it’s ticket to the SE. to start with PDP does not microzone anyway so PDP will never have zoned it’s ticket to the SE, they zone to north or south.

In any event like I said you argue like a motor park tout. You already know what you belief and any evidence to the contrary is a waste of time….like you have just shown.

And then you ask me to waste my time combing through numerous 30minute interviews? Like I said believe what you want because evidence won’t change your mind. It’s not the first time. You have demonstrated this from my 1st interaction with you over EPC+F many months ago.

Umahi left PDP because he realized there was no credible SE representation in APC and he likely made the shrewd political calculations that APC would be the party to dominate in the near future and if he defected, he would get early mover advantage. Simple as! He was right as he is the leading SE figure in the APC and the administration, unfortunately for him, his people are not politically astute and all his efforts will likely be in vain. Nothing to do with PDP.

Argue with your keyboard.
Politics › Re: PDP regrets fielding Atiku in 2023, People are speaking to GEJ, Obi - Moro by casualobserver:
Kukutente23:
Can you share a link to Segun Sowumi saying that?
Cause I remember sharing with you the reasons Obi. Left PDP and it was majorly failure to zone the ticket to SE. Umahi left on same ground too and we all know the mastermind behind that
Go back to the thread where we discussed this matter in July. I told you where to look. I don’t hold my interactions with you in any regard to bother to comb through 30minute interviews to prove anything to you. I know what I heard and the matter is not that important to me to waste my time. Segun sowunmi gave a lot of interviews in that period, it’s in one of the,. Either arise, TVC, channels or trust Tv

Also Marc Jacob, former legal adviser to PDP also confirmed it in an interview.

If it is that important to you, look on you tube for interviews by Segun sowunmi and mark jacobs in the month leading up to our interaction in July. If not you are free to believe what you want.

“Atiku told Peter obi to his face that he cannot guarantee him the VP ticket.” That was what was said in the interview. There is only a limited number of interviews by Segun Sowunmi and Marc jacobs in that period. If it means that much to you, search for the interviews. I have interacted with you long enough to know your truth is what you believe not evidence.

Umahi left long before PDP zoned its ticket. Umahi left in 2020, PDP only decided it’s zoning for 2023 in April 2022. This is why I said I don’t hold you in any regard. You make it up as you go.

Guy is this confusion or what?
Have you wondered why you failed so many job interviews? Have you wondered why despite your degree you could not get that dream job and now you are an Uber driver?

When someone says “biggest sources”, It is implied that “not all” have been removed and hence some remain.

Next time you are in an interview, answer the question as it is put to you.

"Biggest sources" is not "all sources".

it's people like you that will bring fake degree certificate, when INEC says "minimum" is school leaving certificate and you have a legitimate school leaving certificate.

the biggest sources of corruption in Nigeria (fuel and forex subsidies) have been removed. many of you dont have the inteeligence to understand that. in addition, digitizing revenue sources e.g customs, VAT etc remove avenues for corruption.

there is still corruption but curbing corruption is not by noise. Sometimes removing the avenues for stealing without making noise halts corruption quietly.

I am only asking questions seeking clarifications.

Don’t forget homosexuality is an offense in Nigeria and we would like it to remain such. So if a candidate possibly intends to legalize it we need to ask questions.

This is the kind of thing Obi and the Obidient movement want to introduce to Nigerians.

And like the LGBT, the Obidients want to force their views on the majority via manipulations and propaganda!

Draw parallels with how the Obidients operate and how thE LGBT movement silence and criticisms or rights to have a different view. The LGBT got to a point where they force you to call a man a woman. This is exactly the same thing the Obidients operate!
