I dont know why you guys keep thinking this way.

Even obi will be delusional if he ever thinks he can win the presidential ticket in ADC. A tiku will most likely get it and the best bet is for obi to be his vice.

Except you all want Tinubu to do 4 more years, we should all rally behind Atiku/obi ticket.

The primaries in ADC will be thrown open and Atiku will surely clinch it.
Tell that to your people who think Obi can get the ticket. I am Tinubu 4+4.

And to state this for the one millionth time, without Obi the coalition is dead. No one else among them can move Nigerians and they know it.
This is true and this we know, this is why they are setting the trap for him. Once he leaves LP, his fate is sealed! He does not have the delegates like I have told you to get the presidential ticket.

They both need each other, distrust each other but have to work together. They both know due to age or rotation, it is 2027 or never. This is why those who understand politics understand that the coalition is DOA!

The most Obi can get is VP ticket….that is his ceiling!

Obi’s only destination isn’t VP.

The position of who will be presidential candidate is evenly between Atiku or Obi. There is no third, and you know it.

Now, with the sentiments that South should still retain power for 4 years, the odds favour Obi more.

But these things will count for you because you already have predetermined points in your mind that you do not believe anything can alter.

But let me remind you that that was how you guys doubted Obi in 2023 until they had to shutdown the IREV to stop him.
You people are so delusional! The is no even anything. This is a Northern agenda. They even pointedly told Dumebi Kachikwu during negotiations when he asked their attitude towards the south completing its 8yrs that “we are taking our power back”.

Obi’s only value in this coalition is his voter block.

To you and all who can’t see the flyer from the forests, I have been telling you how things will play out since 2022 and I have NEVER been wrong. Feel free to believe there will be a fair contest or that Obi will become the flag bearer talk less win. Let’s just wait till then and strike a deal that if I am right once again, you finally admit that you don’t understand Nigerian politics and maybe I read political situations better than you do and if you turn out to be right that I do t know what I am talking about? Deal?

Any attempt at primaries will be seen as a ploy to choose Atiku. There should be no primaries.

When APC was formed out of a coalition of CPC, ACN, ANPP and a faction of PDP, Buhari was simply selected and ordained by Tinubu.
There was an agreement.
It is the law, you can’t select a presidential candidate without primaries. Even if it is just a formality you must hold primaries and it must be witnessed by INEC.

APC had primaries if I recall it was at Onikan Stadium. and as usual Atiku had spent money on delegates . It was Tinubu that once again saved Buhari, Atiku was heading for victory.

Since 2022, can you tell me one time Peter Obi has miscalculated?

Or you think he doesn’t have his strategists and is aware of all the things you have said here?

But let me ask you, on what basis would Atiku offer Amaechi the VP ticket over an Obi with an established 6million votes bank?

And what gave you the confidence that if Obi is neither the presidential nor vice presidential candidate in 2027, we will vote for Atiku?

You guy learned nothing from 2023.
He didn’t win his election and he didn’t win his court case and if we search, you are probably one off those who said his lawyer has never lost a case.

As for Amaechi, I said if he doesn’t play ball. He may offer it to Amaechi and the majority of Obidients will vote for him since Obi would have snookered himself. The argument was put forward to emphasize that Obi’s only destination in this coalition is VP. Once he leaves LP his fate is sealed!

Peter Obi is already speaking through his acolytes.

It’s the presidential ticket or we are done with the coalition.

It’s still the turn of the south and Obi has accepted to do 4 years.
Mark this post!

This coalition is an Atiku coalition. It is an Atiku SPV!

The only person who can see is Datti! Look at the people you are in bed with, do you think they are prepared for a free and fair fight? Do you think they will line up behind Obi? Do people like Malami and ElRifai look like people willing to accept Obi as President or people who need the votes of his supporters? Already as they speak they are lining up their delegates! Northern states traditionally have the highest No of delegates in any party primaries , is it Obi that will control them? Some one who hasn’t officially joined the party yet and did not do well in the North last time? Is it Kebbi with Malami, Kwara with Abdulahi, Osun with Aregbe, Benue with Mark, or Adamawa with Atiku whose delegates will vote for Obi? Look at the coloration of the alliance, which states can Obi get delegates from? Amaechi will do a delegates deal with Atiku, so will Aregbe!

Obi will not win the primaries. Even in a free and fair fight he won’t win the primaries against Atiku. By the time he is a candidate in the primaries, it means he has left LP since you can’t be a member of 2 parties. Once he loses the primaries, he is stuck and can’t leave to start searching for a new party without damaging his reputation, so he will be forced to take the VP slot. If he doesn’t play along,, it will be handed over to Amaechi. Obidients In the end they will be forced to vote for Atiku……coup completed!

Obi knows this, he also knows he needs the coalition and that is his dilema.

Get used to the idea that either way Obi is not becoming President!

BEWARE!

There appears to be an agenda by Nairaland or its moderators to stifle speech particularly of a political nature and push the discussions in favour of or against certain political divides!

I smmmore active in the political section and Over the last month or so I have noticed I keep getting some of my posts deleted and then banned for no reason. Posts for which there was no offensive or abusive content.

Today I just got banned again. Luckily I hadn’t refreshed the page and I was able to take a snapshot of the post. (See picture below). Please tell me what was offensive in the post that necessitated a ban? I have had this happen to me many times this month.

Today I saw a political thread promoting an agenda and thought to myself how did this thread make it to the main page. There are more intelligent threads lurking in trending section that never make the front page!

Ahead of the 2027 elections, It seems some moderators want to propagate a political agenda and want to stifle those who have evidence to counter falsehoods.

I am not a member of any political
Party and not sponsored by any party, politician, or group. My views are mine. But it is clear to me Nairaland has a political agenda. It’s happened too many times to be a coincidence.

The banned post is pictured below! This is just one of many posts that contain no offensive language but result in being deleted and resulting in a ban!
Judge for yourselves!

I spend too much time here as it is.

If Nairaland wants to use its platform to promote an agenda or stifle speech, that’s their perogative! They may try to explain it away by saying it’s some big in the boy, that’s inaccurate. I have been watching them since it started!

My time here is done and I am
better for it!

the man died intestate in 1984, May have bought the land in the 1960’’s, 70’s, the title was still vested in the Federal Government when it was purportedly transferred to next foods in 2011.

The land use act 1978 specifically prescribes that land vested in the Federal government upon the commencement of the land use act, shall remain vested in the Federal government.

Federal land cannot turn to state land, unless the federal government secedes it to the state.

Anyway thanks for your logical contribution.
1: if he bought the land pre 1978, his title would have been from Western region, Lagos state or probably even Federal govt depending on when he bought the land and from whom. Although the land was acquired by the federal govt, ikeja was not part of the federal territory. Also note that according to Obi’s chain of sale the man who died in 1984 bought the land from Adeola Odeku not the federal govt so definitely he won’t have a federal govt title.

GRA Ikeja was gazetted in 1942. The western region was created in 1939. Lagos state was created in 1967 out of the western region. Once you buy federal land outside federal territory I.e outside the old federal territory of Lagos and FCT, your authority responsible for your title is the state or region.

The exception you quote applies only to land or property still owned by the federal govt outside the FCT. Once they sell it it is no longer under the FG and reverts to state control.

Federal land outside federal territory is only Federal land while they own it. The minute the federal capital moved to Abuja, all former federal territory in Lagos Ikoyi, Lagos island Yaba etc reverted to Lagos state control. Federal land/property in Lagos or any other state is exempt from state title jurisdiction until they sell it. For example Ikeja cantonment is federal land in Lagos state. There is no Federal or state Cof O on it right now. The title to the land is the federal Government gazette acquiring the land giving ownership to the FG. Once they sell any land on it, they will issue a federal cof o to the buyer. The buyer will now take that Cof o to the state lands bureau to obtain his State Cof O.

but in the letters of administration used in conveying the land, it mentions that 3 people were granted the administration that was purportedly used to sell the land to next food aka Peter Obi?

3 people cannot be granted letters of administration without will, then only one person sells, impossible, null & void sale ab initio.

Don’t know about the other people’s instruments of transfer also claiming ownership, but next food claim is questionable.
Like I told you the matter get as he be, I have reached the limit of my investigation based on what is available on the internet.

I am not a lawyer so I can’t comment on the 3 people issue. I don’t like to comment on things I don’t have an educated or informed opinion on.

Regarding your comment in a previous post. All land in GRA Ikeja was originally acquired federal land. Note Ikeja was never federal territory! Once it is sold/transferee it to a party that is not a federal govt agency, it comes under the jurisdiction of state. In both cases according to their stories, any title will be state title. If you buy land from FG you will initially get a FG cof O, then you go to the state to obtain a state cofO. If you bought land that had already been sold by the FG to an individual or corporate body, the next transfer and hence your title would be a governors consent.

The court will grant you a judgement based on evidence you produce. If you produce a fraudulent letter of sale and nobody challenges it the court will grant your request. There have been allegations that her lawyer is known for land grabbing which is why I need to see her latter of allocation and have revised my position to “I don’t know” since the matter dropped. I reserve my judgement on the matter till I know more. At this point I would like to see her letter of allocation from the FG. Let us not forget, according to the evidence on the Obi side the land was dormant for almost 30yrs, the man who owned it on his document chain it died in 1984. That’s the kind of land that attracts land grabbers. The land grabber could be on either side.

I said abinitio, she must have a letter of allocation. I would like to see it. It would have been nice if she showed it.

It does not deter from my belief that the land having been purchased in 2011 while he was governor is a product of money laundering.

Oga you can obtain a COfO with fraudulent documents. It is important she shows her purchase from the FG.

I am not here to defend Obi, I am here to defend the truth. Even if it is his land, the timing of the purchase and the manner it was bought (via a proxy company) suggests to me it is money laundering and proceeds of crime.
Politics › Re: Peter Obi's Brother Releases Document He Used In Buying Lagos Property In 2011 by casualobserver:
I did some digging. The story of the land is complex. The man who owned the land died in 1984 intestate and without children. A woman claimed she was a his daughter but actually his niece obtained a letter of administration. The court discovered she wasn’t his daughter but probably his niece. The Lagos high court denied her claim to the property. She appealed and the case was decided in 2017. U fortunately I don’t know in whose favour. You have to pay for the info. The case number is in picture below.

What is clear is this
1) she may have been finally granted legal entitlement to the land by the appeal court in 2017 but she had already sold the land in 2011 when the Lagos high court specifically declared she wasn’t entitled to it.
2) Mrs Olorunlogbon has shown cofO but has not shown her proof of purchase from the FG.
3) even if the property belongs to Peter Obi, it was purchased while he was a governor and he has hidden ownership under his company name. Both he and his brothers are shareholders and directors. So not only does he own the property he has control over it as a director. This is the angle our journalists should be investigating. Where the money for the purchase came from.

Actually, it is possible his paperwork is in order. I cannot discount at this point that the woman is the land grabber. The woman has not shown her proof of purchase from the FG as she alleges. You would think she would have done so. If it were my land, I would have shown the proof of purchase not just the cofo.

All I can say at this point is that he bought the property in 2011 while he was governor and he owns the property despite what he says. At the very least he is a part owner.
