I have said it before the No gree for anybody mindset that is the hallmark of PDP that caused them to split their votes in 2023 is the same spirit that will kill their coalition before it starts! |
Senate suspended you but said if you apologize you can return immediately. After perambulating up and down, you are returning 4 months later only to apologize! |
Someone whose party’s achievement under his stewardship is 1 house of rep member suddenly is an expert in political calculations throwing percentages up and down. Lol ! Oga enjoy your dubai dollars and Sidon watch! |
Sermwell:My friend learn to read. They say if you want to hide something from NIgerians put it in writing. The judgement of the court is in. Front of you, you didn’t read it and you are boldly arguing with someone who did? |
saasala:The court has told her to issue a public apology. Senate has said they won’t reinstate her until she issues the apology! |
What elders see sitting down…. is the a story of this coalition! We have told you they are trying to trap Obi but he kn knows it is a trap. There are 2 outcomes: 1: The coalition fails because Obi refuses to bite and stays in LP, in which case Atiku will run with Amaechi. 2: obi accepts to be VP There is no 3rd option |
You will be lucky to get N60m for that car. Nobody cares how much you paid for the car. It is not a car in demand. |
Konquest:Interesting video! I agree 100% with you that he doesn’t have the luxury of time. He needs to strike while he has the opportunity. I think only him can do it and I think the prevailing sentiment amongst the various ethnic nationalities will support him. He has already made some very critical and structural changes. Nobody is bringing back subsidy and no one is bringing back multiple currency rates. If he can restructure the country, he will secure his legacy for centuries! Initially he was moving like a man who didn’t care about a second term and I was convinced he would do it in his 1st term but the resistance and compromise on the tax bill led me to believe he is picking his battles and he wants a second term and I hope he devotes his second term to that. I actually suspect they know it’s on his to do list and that’s the real reason they want him out! |
mrrandomguy:Please this is Umahi speaking not Tinubu. Tinubu knows Ibos will never vote for him and is not inexperienced to know that releasing Kanu will make no difference. They agitated, cursed and complained when Ralph Nwosu was refused national recognition at the senate. Tinubu conferred on him the National honour and you didn’t hear anything from the Ibos. No thank you no well done no nothing! Ibos are born to complain, the worst thing you can do is to do what they want in the hope they will stop complaining or be grateful for your gesture. When you listen or try to appease the Ibos, you end up with the current situation where the entire executive of the NBA Lagos branch is Ibo. |
Konquest:Noted. Truth is we need a totally new constitution. I suspect (hope) it is Tinubu’s plan for his second term. |
Penguin2:This is your final warning! I am very liberal with the block function. I block people who don’t add value to a discussion and hence to my life. Once I block someone I continue to block them once the 3 weeks expires once I see their name! |
Penguin2:Oga you are the one talking nonsense. The argument we had was based on whether the coalition will give him the ticket or not. They are not going to give him the ticket because the coalition was set up for the sole purpose of Atiku’s ambition. ADC is a special purpose vehicle setup once Atiku realised he had lost out in the power play of PDP. That Obi has more votes than the coalition is neither here nor there if he doesn’t get the ticket. Like I said Zik won the election, he ended up a ceremonial president with Balewa with the real power! This coalition is not giving Obi their ticket. In fact as I have said it may fall apart even before the elections. |
Konquest:thanks for the compliment. Yes I have also noticed online a desire for the Hausas and the middle belt to assert their separate identity. Oh and yes I forgot to add, you are right about the Yorubas! There has always been a historical NCNC/NPN/PDP v AG/UPN/AD factions. Particularly amongst the political elite. |
Amuluonyenaego:SE is landlocked. The most you. Can have is a river port! Did you not see plans for a river port in Abia? |
He should go because he is totally useless as power minister! |
Konquest:I agree with you and stand corrected. Sometimes we aggregate the North in loose talk and discussions but to show I understand the distinctions in the North this is an extract from an old post. casualobserver: |
Be recycling videos from his campaign in the north in 2022/3 when he still lost woefully in the North. Do you know what they call preaching to the choir? That’s what you are doing with all these propaganda. The people you need to. Convince don’t think like that and ar le not easily fooled! |
frainc:1). I don’t believe Obi has what it takes to lead this country based on his past and his utterances 2) the coalition members are the exact same people that over the years created the mess Tinubu is trying to clean up. You may not like Wike but he made some valid points last night. Amaechi your wife is collecting 4b a month to train Niger delta women. The same Malami quashed the report meaning this has been going on for a long time. David Mark was a governor, minister, senator and senate president in charge of budget allocation and you could not ensure the road from Abuja to Otukpo is constructed? The same road Tinububis now constructing! Aregbesola was minister for 8!years, Bosun Tijani in 6 months is showing NIgerians that passport processing or going through airports are not rocket science!! Etc etc etc. these are the same people you want back in power? 3) Tinubu has his flaws but he is on the right track. You don’t fix the mess of decades of misgivernance in 2 years, nor do you do so without pain. |
G0odharddick:I am against the coalition but the stats back your stance. Obi has more votes than all of the other coalition members Combined! Atiku does not control the 6.7m votes he got in 2023. A lot of those votes are PDP votes and if you listen to some PDP members they are not ready to vote for him and the n fact many PDP members see his exit as good riddance so he probably only has 2-4m votes to his name. Obi votes even though he has lost some supporters are all his votes and his votes alone. |
It is true that I want the coalition to fail but IMHO it will fail whether Atiku or Obi get the ticket. The hat is my honest opinion. So put my bias aside and think about this. Obi has 6.1m votes, they are all his votes. Atiku had 6.7m votes, at least half are PDP votes that will not follow him to ADC. Obi won 2 regions, Atiku only won 1 Atiku without PDP does not have the votes you think he does certainly not as many. None of the people in the coalition won their elections or delivered their states for Atiku in the last elections. They are big names but yesterdays big names! Absolutely none! Please go through the list: Bolaji abdulahi, Sule Lamido, dele Momodu, David mark, Malami, El Rufai, Amaechi, Dino Melaye! Aregbesola. Please. Tell me 1 who delivered? I actually only realized it last night that Peter Obi has more votes than all of them combined. So do you want a repeat of 1959 when Zik came first but became a junior partner To Balewa relegated to ceremonial roles? If I were Obi, and I am being very sincere, if I were Obi I will insist on the presidency or nothing and if they refuse so be it! Like I said either permutation I believe they will fail but there is a way to fail with honour, dignity and respect even from your adversaries and supporters! My 2 cents! |
pastorarynzay:It is the other way round! No northern governor is going to work for Atiku. It is not in their interest. If Atiku becomes president, it kills the chances of any Northern governor who plans to be president in 2031! Atiku can’t handover to another Northerrner! So why will a governor who controls the political structure in his state aid in his own downfall? |
TruthsFM:The irony is that Peter Obi has more votes than all of them combined! Most of Atiku’s votes are PDP votes. Most of the others have no votes outside PDP. Dele Momodu contested for presidency in 2015, he left his house with his wife, driver and house girl, when the results came out he got 1 vote…even his wife did not vote for him! Peter Obi got 6.1m votes, Atiku got 6.7m. Out of Atiku’s votes, not more than 2-3m belong to him. The rest are PDP votes! Although Obi will lose some votes in 2027, his votes are all his! They are trying to do to Obi what they did to Zik in 1959. Where Zika came 1st but became subordinated to Balewa….and we know how that ended. They both need each other, Votes wise, Obi is the senior member of this coalition. |
No Governor is joining them…..why? Because governors have ambitions. Atiku as a northerner is a stumbling block to any Governor who has ambitions to be president himself in 2031. I have said it from day 1 that no Northern Governor with ambitions will back another Northerner to be president in 2027. If they don’t have northern governors where is their governor coming from? No northerner with serious political muscle and ambition will back Atiku and this is an Atiku SPV. The only reason ADC exists is because Atiku was unable to capture the PDP structures. There are big names in the coalition but they are yesterdays big names. There is no one with serious political muscle who has joined them except Obi and he hasn’t joined officially because he RIGHTLY believes he has more political muscle than all of them combined and they want to dictate to him! Go through the names one by one, None of them has won an election or delivered their state, LG or ward for their party in the last elections. Bolaji lost his election, El Rufai did not deliver his state, Amaechi has lost Rovers structure, David mark lost his state and local govt to APC, Atiku only won 1 of 6 regions and and only because of PDP structure, Aregbesola cannot deliver his state, Dino lost his election, Dele Momodu contested for presidency left his house to vote with his wife, driver and house girl, when then results came out. From the PU, he got only 1 vote!…….who else lets dissect their grassroots relevance! Sule Lamido as a sitting governor lost his state in 2015 and has not been able to deliver his state in every election since. Watch the interview yesterday by Tajudeen Yusuf! He also said the reason Obi left PDP in 2022 was because Atiku told him to his face he could not guarantee him the VP slot! Obi wanted to be VP in 2023 not president . ADC needs governors, governors don’t need ADC. On the contrary it is suicidal for a. northern governor to support Atiku. I wrote about this months ago. |
abibun:Your messiah gets his advice from a madman and comments anyhow so I am not surprised you comment based on unsubstantiated rumours. That’s why Wike destroyed all of you one by one yesterday with facts! In any event what I said was we don’t care about people that were never going to vote for us before! You read but don’t comprehend! May your faction and your supporters never be in charge of Nigeria again. in Jesus name Amen! |
Do these ones not know that their leaders have sold the entire structure of their party and their positions? |
frog12:Ahh. My bad! Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxccccxccccc6666666888 |
frog12:Did you not read or hear where he said Malami killed the report? |
Penguin2:All the nonsense you wrote simply means he will not join the coalition officially. I never said he would. I simply said if he did it is to become VP. If he isn’t happy with VP he is smart enough not to join. I don’t know why this is too hard for you to understand that you keep disturbing me. If you have nothing else constructive to say please stop disturbing me! |
AMINDA:Costing him votes where? From people who never planned to vote for him? Na una dey find votes hence coalition, our votes are intact and you can’t lose what you never had! Those who plan to vote for Tinubu loved this interview! Interview that went into 30minutes extra time. It’s a pity that nuisance Seun kept interrupting and didn’t let Wike get to Obi and Tambuwal. He dissected the coalition members one by one! |
Penguin2:That this crop of Northerners can’t do it alone does not mean they are going to back him. Obi himself can’t do it alone! So don’t make out like obi himself doesn’t need them. They need each other and that’s the point. Let nobody think he can bluff anybody! If he goes alone, they all fail! If he joins them, all that is available to him is the VP slot….that’s all! You are arguing a different point. My point is not about who needs who, they both need each other. The point is that the coalition is a perfectly crafted trap for Obi but he has no choice! The point is that Obi won’t get the presidential ticket. Telling me somebody needs somebody is like telling me 1+1=2……did you just discover that? If BOTH sides did not need each other they wouldn’t be in a coalition! So please tell me something I don’t know! I have already told you he knows it is a trap that is why he has not officially joined and is submitting proposal for 4yr single term. If he doesn’t join he can’t win, if he joins he won’t get the presidential ticket! Is it that hard to understand? I will not be surprised if the coalition’s primaries are one of the last primaries to hold……why? Because they will time it such that Obi doesn’t have the time to look for another party! I will also not be surprised if he doesn’t officially join ADC because he knows the game they are playing! |
Thiefobi1:They like to gaslight! The author himself knows he had few things to show so he listed the 2012 projects twice in his list to elongate the list. They know most NIgerians don’t read! |
