The truth is that ebonyi should focus first in education and human capital development. Educationally, ebonyi is even trailing northern region. Human capital wise, ebonyi is at the baseline. Poverty rate in ebonyi is synonymous with what's obtainable in Zamfara and Yobe states. These are the things your governor should pursue to upturn and not deceiving himself with something you people don't actually need.

Most Ebonyi people cannot even afford transport fare from Onitsha or Lagos to Ebonyi state. You guys should face reality and stop putting the cart before the horse.

In as much as I am not supporting the gov's action against the journalists but I will want to urge everyone to be mindful of the opposition politicians in Ebonyi state.
They are talking as if they will perform better.
No doubt about that, Umahi erred but we all should know that nobody is perfect.
This singular act cannot and will never rubbish the good works of the governor.
He is really outstanding in terms of performance and unarguably one of the best in Nigeria.
Umahi is the best thing that has happened to Ebonyi state.

Ebonyi doesn't need an airport. They should concentrate on human capital development because more than 80% of ebonyi people are still either gala hawker or truck pusher. If for any reason Ebonyi wasted its scarce resources to build an airport, how many people from Ebonyi can afford flight ticket? I am sure Ebonyi state government will not make such a mistake. States like Anambra and other frontline states are the states that should be talking about airport. Ebonyi should at 80% of its resources on human capital development.
