Stmema:The tailbone pain is called sciatica, baby's weight pressing down on your sciatic nerve. I don't know of any remedy to it shaa. I just shift my weight to the other side when it hits ie if I was lying on my right I would turn to the left. As for the cs scar I do feel twinges and pulling around there, old scar tissues stretching out I guess. But pls if you are in any form of discomfort or the pressure comes with pain do well to see your gynae o. |

Asey:Well it is good to let the doctor check it out but from previous experience I noticed that the edges heal up last. My first cs I panicked and went back for this same thing and d docs just assured me all was healing well. Same happened after my last cs. To ease your mind just get the doctor to take a look at it. Debclem:Well said dear. Tatacherie, sincerely I feel your pain. Please be strong for your baby girl's sake. Just sadly wondering what will be the case for a child who has not really started talking fluently. How does she name her assaulter? Well I would suggest parading all the people she had contact with yesterday before her (both male and female o, everybody is a suspect) while closely watching her for any sign of flinching or fear. May God strengthen and see you and your family through this trying times. And, please don't beat yourself up. You are not a bad mother and you have not failed ur daughter. 3 Likes |

My two older kids (two and four) makes sure mommy gets more than her fair share of exercises. Onye di m onu okwu cha cha. The bright side is that it helps me subdue my weight. crownzeal:My dear for the sciatica I don't know if there is any measure to relieve it but for the waist and back aches u can try doing pelvic tilts. What I do is to crouch down on all fours with my head downwards, pull in my pelvis as if hugging baby close to me and arching my lower back. Hold for about 30 secs, repeat a couple of times. This provides such huge relief from waistache and backache for me at any point in pregnancy. U can Google more on pelvic tilts. |

kaffy4bill:Thank you so much sis. I have already relayed my concern to the gynae. They will definitely give me a different anaesthiologist this time around. Guy pricked my spinal cord with different needles close to 8 times. It wasn't so during my first, just one prick with a spinal needle. (see ranting fa). Lord forgive me o (lol). I have had 2 previous cs and this time around I want to be sedated alongside the spinal anaesthesia (my last csection, I just can't tell what went wrong with the anaesthesia and I felt it when they cut through). DaCharis2016:Personally I am very sceptical about taking xrays in pregnancy, though they do give d woman a shield to protect baby from radiation. For the pelvimetry ( done to rule out CPD, issues of baby's head not fitting into d mother's pelvis), it can be done by the gynae using his fingers to make estimations. Ooouuch.. the mere thought of it. And yes such specialized xray studies are quite pricey, though it depends on the diagnostic centre u visited. Discuss with your gynae and make ur choices. This is me finally crawling out of my hole. God bless all the past, present and future mamas on this thread. I followed this thread in my first pregnancy (sept 2015), second ( sept 2017) and this time around I refuse to be a peeping tom o. So here I am, December 2019 mama reporting on duty.
