You can compare the rate of three months ago to that of today and see the clear progression.

The Malagasy government will deploy soldiers and doctors to the eastern city of Toamasina, where two people died of COVID-19, following the discovery of several bodies in the streets.

About 150 soldiers will be sent to Madagascar’s second largest city with orders to ensure adherence to health measures to contain the virus’ spread and maintain order.

The order came following a special cabinet meeting held on Sunday to deliberate the state of affairs in the city.

Madagascar has reported more than 100 new COVID-19 cases since Thursday and the cause of the deaths has not yet been established.

“Doctors must carry out thorough examinations to see if these deaths are caused by another illness or if they are really due to severe acute respiratory problems which is the critical form of COVID-19,” Professor Hanta Marie Danielle Vololontiana, a spokesperson for the government’s COVID-19 task force said.

The cabinet also dismissed the head of Toamasina without any reasons being given and ordered an investigation into the death of a doctor who, according to local media, was admitted in hospital after contracting COVID-19 and was found dead hanged in his room on Sunday.

In addition to these actions, a team was also dispatched to distribute a drink, Covid-Organics, which Malagasy authorities purport can cure COVID-19.

Covid-Organics, a herbal tonic, is produced from the artemisia plant – the source of an ingredient which is used in a malaria treatment – and other plants from Madagascar.

Though the effects of the tonic have not yet been scientifically proven, the African Union has since opened discussions with Madagascar aimed at exploring the safety and efficiency of the herbal remedy. The technical data is expected to be reviewed by the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC).

As of May 24, Madagascar has recorded 488 COVID-19 cases and two deaths, both in Toamasina, according to the Africa CDC.

There's no evidence it was ' created' yet. In fact, scientists have decoded the gene of the virus and concluded it's virtually impossible it was man made. Nature is always out to show who's superior.

Vietnam, Réunion and Central African Republic have more impressive stats with no single deaths as well. Qatar had almost a thousand cases before they recorded their first death. Did They push forward any magical potion they Used?. The virus affects countries differently due to many factors including genetics, weather, environment,etc. It's still being studied.

There's no propaganda against Madagascar. It was Madagascar that claimed the concoction is a cure. Do you know what it means to say something is an outright cure ?. Without large scale testing?. They only asked them to pass it through formal testing and discouraged people from self medication- which is s no brainer because given the chance some folks will overdose on it.

Vietnam has more cases than Madagascar with no single death. So also central African republic and island of Réunion. Why haven't they pushed forward one concoction and claimed it's a cure?

Remdesivir has been tested in the USA on over 2000 patients and found to have lowered mortality by 30 percent. Still, Fauci never came out to claim Eureka!! We've found a cure!

Population control does not necessarily entail culling or sterilising people. A rather harsh example is the defunct Chinese one child policy. Their population still increased but the policy cut the increase by an estimated 300 million people. The aim is reduction in INCREASE in population and not by Draconian laws but by enlightenment and good reproductive health as is the case in the West and Japan.

The gates Foundation values on population reduction have always been based on longer life expectancy, lowered child mortality, access to birth control and family planning, education And empowerment of youths so they can postpone giving birth to later years when they'd have Been out of poverty. Google and see. it's not even listed as a main go-to tabloid there. ncdc is the offial body placed with the responsibility of testing and confirming covid-19 cases in nigeria. If they say we have 5k cases why should i doubt them? I think people are curious because this is neither malaria nor polio. Rather a worldwide epidemic that has claimed countless number of lives and resulted in a state of emergency, Americans themselves worse hit with almost incomparable number of death to that of the whole of African combine. I've seen videos of the corona virus "Patients" in Nigeria and they don't look sick to me, Some are even protesting.

Majority of coro patients don't show any symptoms at all but they spread it. In Europe, many patients without symptoms are asked to self isolate and remotely communicate with doctors. It's only the serious cases or at least those showing symptoms that are taken to hospital or intensive care.
