Christianity EtcRe: Top 10 Reasons Why Jesus Christ Is Not God by chakula(op): 10:58am On Aug 13, 2010
@Vedaxcool,

In addition to what you have said The Country of Origin of Jesus was Bethlehem of Judaea and also his Occupation is Carpentary inwhich he was inherited from his father Joseph as the Bible said, fallowing by this evidance from the Bible and if it is true how infamy to the Christians holding a person with above charecteristics as a god?

"Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king.  (Matthew, 2:1)

"Jesus was a carpenter by trade." (Mark, 6:3),

"and the son of a carpenter." (Matthew,  13:55)

Fasting - 3rd Ramadan 1431 (13th August 2010)

Narrated Sahl (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "There is a gate in
Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through
it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it.
It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get
up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate
will be closed and nobody will enter through it."

The month of Ramadaan is a precious, precious time, so much so that Allaah calls this month 'Ayyamum Ma'doodaat' (A fixed number of days). Before we know it, this month of mercy and forgiveness will be over. We should try and spend every moment possible in the worship of Allaah so that we can make the most of this blessing. However, there are some of us who waste away their day playing video games, or worse still, watching TV, movies or even listening to music. Subha an Allaah! Trying to obey Allaah by DISOBEYING him!

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Fasting is a shield
(or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid
sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and
impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell
him twice, 'I am fasting." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)
added, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the
mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of
musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), 'He has left his food, drink
and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting
person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times."

And when (idh is dependent because it is governed by [an implicit] udhkur, ‘mention [when]’) We said to the angels, ‘Prostrate before Adam’, a prostration involving a bow, not placing one’s forehead down [to the ground], as a greeting to him; and so they prostrated, [all] except Iblīs. He was [one] of the jinn — some say that these [creatures] are a species of angels, in which case the exceptive clause [illā Iblīs, ‘except Iblīs’] is a continuous one; but it is also said to be discontinuous, since Iblīs is [considered] the progenitor of [all] the jinn, having offspring who are mentioned alongside him further below; angels, on the other hand, do not have offspring; and he transgressed against his Lord’s command, that is to say, he rebelled against obedience to Him by refraining from [performing] the prostration. Will you then take him and his offspring — this address is to Adam and his progeny (the [final pronominal suffix] hā’ in both words refers to Iblīs) for your patrons instead of Me, obeying them, when they are an enemy to you?, in other words, [when they are your] enemies (wa-hum lakum ‘aduwwun is a circumstantial qualifier). How evil for the evildoers is that substitute!, of Iblīs and his offspring, in obeying them instead of obeying God.

How Mary Conceived and Delivered "God". Mary conceived Jesus like any other
woman:

"The days were accomplished that she should be delivered," (Luke,
2:6) which means that she went through all the normal stages of pregnancy.

Nor was her delivery any different from other expectant mothers: "And she
being with child cried, travelling in birth, and pained to be delivered."

Islam is the only religion which teaches the existence of a PERFECT God. A perfect God means that there is no sharer in His Nature and His Attributes:

"Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him." (Holy Qur'an, 112:1-4)

The month of Ramadhan is to train the body and soul, among other things. So if a person could refrain from fighting, cursing etc for a full month, it is hoped that such person imbibes that attitude throughout the year till another holy month comes for him to recharge.

IslamRe: Hadeeth Of The Day by chakula: 11:40am On Aug 11, 2010
Assalamu Alaikum,

It was narrated that al-Bara’ (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: We went out with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for the funeral of a man from among the Ansaar. We came to the grave and when (the deceased) was placed in the land, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sat down and we sat around him, as if there were birds on our heads (i.e., quiet and still). In his hand he had a stick with which he was scratching the ground. Then he raised his head and said,

“Seek refuge with Allaah from the torment of the grave”, two or three times.

Then he said, “When the believing slave is about to depart this world and enter the Hereafter, there come down to him from heaven angels with white faces like the sun, and they sit around him as far as the eye can see. They bring with them shrouds from Paradise and perfumes from Paradise. Then the Angel of Death comes and sits by his head, and he says,
‘O good soul, come forth to forgiveness from Allaah and His pleasure.’

Then it comes out easily like a drop of water from the the mouth of a waterskin. When he seizes it, they do not leave it in his hand for an instant before they take it and put it in that shroud with that perfume, and there comes from it a fragrance like the finest musk on the face of the earth. Then they ascend and they do not pass by any group of angels but they say,

‘Who is this good soul?’

and they say, ‘It is So and so the son of So and so, calling him by the best names by which he was known in this world, until they reach the lowest heaven. They ask for it to be opened to them and it is opened, and (the soul) is welcomed and accompanied to the next heaven by those who are closest to Allaah, until they reach the seventh heaven. Then Allaah says:

‘Record the book of My slave in ‘Illiyoon in the seventh heaven, and return him to the earth, for from it I created them, to it I will return them and from it I will bring them forth once again.’

So his soul is returned to his body and there come to him two angels who make him sit up and they say to him,

‘Who is your Lord?’ He says, ‘Allaah.’
They say, ‘What is your religion?’ He says, ‘My religion is Islam.’
They say, ‘Who is this man who was sent among you?’ He says, ‘He is the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).’
They say, ‘What did you do?’ He says, ‘I read the Book of Allaah and I believed in it.’

Then a voice calls out from heaven, ‘My slave has spoken the truth, so prepare for him a bed from Paradise and clothe him from Paradise, and open for him a gate to Paradise.’

Then there comes to him some of its fragrance, and his grave is made wide, as far as he can see. Then there comes to him a man with a handsome face and handsome clothes, and a good fragrance, who says,

‘Receive the glad tidings that will bring you joy this day.’
He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which brings glad tidings.’
He says, ‘I am your righteous deeds.’
He says, ‘O Lord, hasten the Hour so that I may return to my family and my wealth.’

But when the disbelieving slave is about to depart this world and enter the Hereafter, there come down to him from heaven angels with black faces, bringing sackcloth, and they sit around him as far as the eye can see. Then the Angel of Death comes and sits by his head, and he says,

‘O evil soul, come forth to the wrath of Allaah and His anger.’

Then his soul disperses inside his body, then comes out cutting the veins and nerves, like a skewer passing through wet wool. When he seizes it, they do not leave it in his hand for an instant before they take it and put it in that sackcloth, and there comes from it a stench like the foulest stench of a dead body on the face of the earth. Then they ascend and they do not pass by any group of angels but they say,

‘Who is this evil soul?’
and they say, ‘It is So and so the son of So and so, calling him by the worst names by which he was known in this world, until they reach the lowest heaven. They ask for it to be opened to them and it is not opened.”

Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited (interpretation of the meaning):

“for them the gates of heaven will not be opened, and they will not enter Paradise until the camel goes through the eye of the needle”

[al-A’raaf 7:40]

He said: “Then Allaah says, ‘Record the book of My slave in Sijjeen in the lowest earth, and return him to the earth, for from it I created them, to it I will return them and from it I will bring them forth once again.’

So his soul is cast down.” Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) recited the verse (interpretation of the meaning):

“and whoever assigns partners to Allaah, it is as if he had fallen from the sky, and the birds had snatched him, or the wind had thrown him to a far off place”

[al-Hajj 22:31]

He said: “Then his soul is returned to his body, and there come to him two angels who make him sit up and they say to him,

‘Who is your Lord?’
He says, ‘Oh, oh, I don’t know.’
They say, ‘What is your religion?’
He says, ‘Oh, oh, I don’t know.’

Then a voice calls out from heaven, ‘Prepare for him a bed from Hell and clothe him from Hell, and open for him a gate to Hell.’

Then there comes to him some of its heat and hot winds, and his grave is constricted and compresses him until his ribs interlock. Then there comes to him a man with an ugly face and ugly clothes, and a foul stench, who says,

‘Receive the bad news, this is the day that you were promised.’
He says, ‘Who are you? Your face is a face which forebodes evil.’
He says, ‘I am your evil deeds.’
He says, ‘O Lord, do not let the Hour come, do not let the Hour come.’”

IslamTen Ways To Receive Ramadhaan. by chakula(op): 12:05pm On Aug 10, 2010
Muslims should not neglect the seasons of worship; rather, they must be among the first to excel in and compete in them. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {So for this let the competitors compete.}[Quran 83:26]

So, we must try our best to receive the month of Ramadhaan in the following recommended ways:

The first way: Supplicate Allaah The Almighty to keep you alive and in good health until Ramadhaan comes so that you will be able to actively worship Allaah The Almighty. It was narrated on the authority of Anas ibn Maalik, may Allaah be pleased with him, that when the month of Rajab came, the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "O Allaah, bless Rajab and Sha‘baan for us, and let us live till the coming of Ramadhaan." [Ahmad and At-Tabaraani] The righteous predecessors used to supplicate Allaah The Almighty to let them live until the coming of Ramadhaan and to accept it from them. At the sighting of the new moon, supplicate Allaah The Almighty saying: "O Allaah, let this moon come to us with security and faith; with safety and Islam; and guidance to what You love and approve. My Lord and your Lord is Allaah." [At-Tirmithi, Ad-Daarimi, and Ibn Hibbaan: Saheeh]

The second way: Thanking Allaah The Almighty for attending this month. In his book Al-Athkaar, Imaam An-Nawawi, may Allaah have mercy upon him, says, "It is recommended for the person who experiences an obvious favor or is protected from an obvious curse that he prostrates in gratefulness to Allaah The Almighty or praises Him duly." Among the greatest blessings Allaah The Almighty grants the slave is guiding him to obedience and worship. When Ramadhaan comes and the Muslim is in good health, this is a great blessing worthy of thankfulness and it requires the praise of Allaah The Almighty Who bestows it. All perfect and continuous praise be to Allaah The Almighty as suits the majesty of His Face and His Great Authority.

The third way: Happiness and joy. The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, was authentically reported to have congratulated his Companions on the coming of Ramadhaan. The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "Ramadhaan has come to you. It is a blessed month during which Allaah The Almighty Prescribed fasting and in this month the gates of the heavens are open and the gates of Hell are shut…" [Ahmad] Our righteous predecessors, the Companions of the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, and those who followed them in the best way, used to take great care of the month of Ramadhaan and were happy with its arrival. There is no happiness greater than receiving the news of the approach of Ramadhaan, the season of blessings and the descent of mercy.

The fourth way: Planning in advance how to benefit from Ramadhaan. Unfortunately, many people -- even practicing Muslims -- draw detailed plans for worldly affairs of this life, whereas only a few of them plan for the affairs of the Hereafter. This results from the lack of awareness about the mission of the believer in this life, or forgetting or deliberately ignoring that there are numerous chances for the Muslim with Allaah The Almighty and important periods of time to train oneself in to be firm in this regard. Planning for the affairs of the Hereafter includes planning to invest Ramadhaan in acts of worship. A Muslim must put a practical plan into action that spans the days and nights of Ramadhaan in obedience to Allaah The Almighty. This message is supposed to help the person spend the duration of Ramadhaan in obeying Allaah The Almighty – Allaah willing.

The fifth way: Being sincerely determined to be among the believers who achieve success and felicity in Ramadhaan and fill its days with righteous deeds. If a Muslim is true to Allaah The Almighty, He will fulfill His promise to him, help him in worship, and facilitate the ways of goodness for him. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {If they had been true to Allaah, it would have been better for them.} [Quran 47:21]

The sixth way: Learning and understanding the Fiqh rulings related to fasting in Ramadhaan. The believer has to worship Allaah The Almighty with knowledge, and is not excused for his ignorance of the obligations Allaah The Almighty prescribed for people. This includes fasting in Ramadhaan. The Muslim is obliged to learn the issues and rulings related to fasting before the coming of Ramadhaan so that his fasting will be correct and accepted by Allaah The Almighty Who Says (what means): {So ask the people of the message if you do not know.} [Quran 21:7]

The seventh way: We have to receive this month with the decision to give up sins and misdeeds, sincerely repent of them all, stop them, and not commit them again. Ramadhaan is the month of repentance and if a person misses this chance, when will he repent? Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And turn to Allaah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.} [Quran 24:31]

The eighth way: Being spiritually and psychologically prepared. This could be done by reading books and articles, and listening to beneficial lectures and discourses which highlight the virtues and rulings of fasting, so that the soul is prepared for worship in this month. The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, used to prepare the souls of his Companions to utilize this meritorious month by saying on the last day of Sha‘baan: "Ramadhaan has come to you…" [Ahmad and An-Nasaa’i]

The ninth way: Prepare oneself well for calling to Allaah The Almighty in Ramadhaan. This can be done in the following ways:
1- Preparing short sermons and lessons to be given in the neighbourhood Masjid if possible.

2- Distributing some booklets and articles of admonition and jurisprudence related to Ramadhaan to the worshipers and people in your area.

3- Preparing some gifts for Ramadhaan, which could be envelopes containing two tapes and a booklet marked "Gift for Ramadhaan."

4- Reminding people of our duties towards the poor and needy and giving them charity and Zakaah (obligatory charity).

The tenth way: We receive the month of Ramadhaan by opening a bright new page with:

a- Allaah The Almighty by sincerely repenting to Him.

b- The Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, by obeying his orders and avoiding what he prohibited and warned against.

c- Parents, relatives, and one’s spouse and children by being dutiful to them and maintaining ties with them

d- Society by being a righteous and useful person. The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "The best of people is the one who benefits them most."

Chapter18- verse48,

{ وَعُرِضُواْ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ صَفَّاً لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا كَمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ بَلْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَلَّن نَّجْعَلَ لَكُمْ مَّوْعِداً }

And they shall be presented before your Lord in ranks (saffan is a circumstantial qualifier) in other words, ranged so that every community is in a row [on its own], and it shall be said to them: ‘Verily you have come to Us just as We created you the first time, that is to say, individually, barefoot, naked and uncircumcised; and it shall be said to the deniers of the Resurrection: rather you claimed that (a [of allan] is an, softened in place of the hardened one, in other words [it is to be understood as] annahu) We would not appoint for you a tryst’, for resurrection.

@ Chakula

Where are bible evidence to show that Jesus never claimed those things which you mentioned. I want to respond to some of them.
Below is the evidence qouted form the so-called book word of god for you to go through.
A "GOD" UNLIKE THE GOD

A Hungry "God": "And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was
afterward an hungered." (Matthew 4:2), "Now in the morning as he returned
into the city, he hungered." (Matthew, 21:18), "and on the
morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry." (Mark, 11:12)

A Thirsty "God": "(He) saith, I thirst." (John, 19:28)

A Sleepy "God": "He was asleep." (Matthew, 8:24), "He fell asleep" (Luke,
8:23), "And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow."
(Mark, 4:38)

A Weary "God": Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on
the well." (John, 4:6)

A Groaning "God": "He groaned in the spirit, and was troubled." (John,
11:33), "Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave."
(John, 11:38)

A Weeping "God": "Jesus wept." (John, 11:35)

A Sorrowing "God": "And (he) began to be sorrowful and very heavy." (Matthew
26:37). "Then saith he unto them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto
death." (Matthew, 26:38)

A Hysterical "God": "And (he) began to be soreamazed and to be very heavy."
(Mark, 14:33)

A Weak "God": "And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven,
strengthening him." (Luke, 22:43)

Chapter18- verse47,

{ وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ ٱلْجِبَالَ وَتَرَى ٱلأَرْضَ بَارِزَةً وَحَشَرْنَاهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَداً }

And, mention, the day when the mountains shall be set in motion — they shall be removed from the face of the earth and become ‘[as] scattered dust’ [Q. 56:6] (a variant reading [for tusayyaru’l-jibālu] has nusayyiru’l-jibāla, ‘We shall set the mountains in motion’) and you will see the earth exposed, manifest [in full view], with no mountain or anything else on top of it. And We shall gather them, believers and disbelievers, such that We will not leave out anyone of them.

Chapter18- verse46,

{ ٱلْمَالُ وَٱلْبَنُونَ زِينَةُ ٱلْحَيَاةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْبَاقِيَاتُ ٱلصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَاباً وَخَيْرٌ أَمَلاً }

Wealth and children are an adornment of the life of this world, [adornment] with which one arrays oneself therein. But the enduring things, the righteous deeds — and these are: ‘Glory be to God’ (subhāna’Llāh), ‘Praise be to God’ (al-hāmdu li’Llāh), ‘There is no god but God (lā ilāha illā’Llāh), ‘God is Great’ (Allāhu akbar); some add [the following] ‘There is no power or strength except in God’ (lā hawla wa-lā quwwata illā bi’Llāh) — [these] are better with your Lord for reward and better in [respect of] hope, in other words, [they are better] in terms of what a person hopes for and desires from God, exalted be He.
