Nah, he was a striker to them because they mostly used one striker, so he was serving as a striker and that was what he was.

Pirlo, Seedorf, Gattuso and Ambrosini were the midfield marshals then, Kaka was like a striker to the man in front (Pato was still small then, so they preferred Andriy Shevchenko).

Kaka was striking for them i repeat, the stats are there to show how many goals he got whiling playing that position.

Take note, i am NOT saying Kaka is a NATURAL STRIKER, but he mostly played as one (supporting striker).
