According to reports, three suspects escaped from police cell in the office of accountant general in Abuja after the cell guard slept off on duty. A police officer, Teejjani Abdullah [pictured below] revealed that a manhunt has been launched for the fleeing suspects identified as Papa, Alfa and Yankee as he urged fellow officers to be on alert.

A 35-year-old woman has died following a serious fire outbreak which happened at Oghara area of Delta state. The lady identified as Kate Otu was said to be a black market vendor who sold fuel in the area before her death.

According to reports, the fire started after a candle was reported to have been put close to a gallon of fuel she was selling unknown to her.

The fire incident was so serious that nothing could be saved from the entire building.

Fire service officials were said to have arrived very late after the damage has been done...

Police operatives have apprehended 3 cultists allegedly terrorizing Yenegwe community in Yenagoa local government area of Bayelsa state. It was gathered that the suspects were arrested after youths of the community reported their activities.

On the arrival of the police, the suspects were said to have resisted arrest by attempting to engage in arms combat, which was foiled.

The police however overpowered them with assistance of the community youths, apprehending 3 of it's suspected gang members.

This is really disheartening. A young girl from Abia state identified as Chisara Okoronkwo Omere has been hospitalized after she was allegedly maltreated by her aunt. The girl who can be seen with various marks on her body and looked emaciated - was reported to have narrowly cheated death due to the horror she faced at her aunt's hand.

Facebook user, ‎Justina Okoro‎, who shared the victims pictures online - is seeking for a way the girl can get justice.

Our beautiful and innocent daughter Chisara was given to her rich Aunty to live with because her parents are poor.

She was treated like an animal, wild animal because most time, we show love to our domestic animals.

Her only offense is been born into a poor family.

A little girl was killed by a speeding vehicle while playing near her compound. According to an online user who shared the pictures of the slain kid and didn’t give location where it happened, the girl identified as Sandra died on the spot after being crushed by the vehicle.

The incident was reported to have caused tension in the area as the girl’s mother rushed out to see her child lying dead on the road.

May her soul rest in peace.

A Nigerian gay pastor was nabbed recently while trying to have homosexual intercourse with a man in a hotel. The pastor who was apparently set up and caught red handed in the act - revealed that he has been sleeping with other men and his church members have no knowledge of his sexual preference.

In a trending footage posted online (not suitable for publication), the pastor who said he comes from Aguata local government area of Anambra state - confessed to being a homosexual as he was stripped totally naked and given some hot slaps during the ''private'' interrogation by the people who caught.

Some condoms were also found with him at the hotel.

An online user who shared the footage - warned Nigerian parents to know how they leave their children in the hands of fake pastors like this.

There was pandemonium as a large crowd gathered in to witness a mild drama caused by a "moving coffin" which was said to have been looking for a "witch". According to media reports, the coffin ''refused'' to be buried as it was searching for a witch known as Kikondo in Zambia.

The Kaoma District Commissioner, Kennedy Liale Mubanga intervened by ordering army and police to grab the coffin. The coffin was escorted to the graveyard for a forced burial by army and police after police tear gassed the crowd.

The irate crowd damaged the wind screen of a reporter's vehicle in the process.

Some passengers were killed and many others injured in a fatal bus accident which occurred by 4:30 am in this morning at Azigbo road heading to Amichi in Anambra state. The accident was reported to have caused a gridlock along the highway as the victims were evacuated and taken to the hospital.

Here are pictures of the Hausa indigenes that were attacked within Makurdi, Benue capital in a fresh crisis rocking the state...Two mosques were also burnt to the ground and traders’ goods ransacked in the course of the attack. .

The Benue State government confirmed eleven people killed in the attack.

Rilwanu Adamu, the adviser to the Benue governor Samuel Ortom on Islamic affairs, said the attack happened in the state capital, Makurdi, and that it was targeted at ethnic Hausa traders.

“We lost 11 of our people…. We have five people also hospitalized in Makurdi,” he said, warning that the death toll could yet rise.

The attack came in the wake of an attack on a church in the Mbalom community south of Makurdi on Tuesday, which left 16 worshippers and two Roman Catholic priests dead.

A man has revealed what happened during his recent trip from Abuja. According to the personal productivity coach and MC, Oyeniyi Shogo, he bought a ticket for economy class at the Abuja airport but had his fortune changed after an airline official recognized him from Instagram.

He was moved from the economy class to business class and was also treated as a VIP.

THE STORY BEHIND THE BUSINESS CLASS.

Kindly spare me few minutes and permit me to gist you about my Abuja experience. I spent 3 days in Abuja and it was busy for me back to back coupled with the fact that I hosted 3 days personal mastery coaching for women drawn across the federation along side my physical gigs in Abuja..

Headed to Nnamdi Azikwe airport to purchase my flight ticket , I jejely bought my economy as usual . As I was boarding the aircraft one of the officials smiled at me and said I KNOW YOU FROM INSTAGRAM! I smiled warmly ,greeted her and moved on to my seat , it was an almost full aircraft but it was announced that it's free seating.

Few minutes later ,an air hostess catwalked and beckoned on me , out of the multitudes to move to business class ,I was shocked but who no like better thing , I took my luggage and walked into the business class where the chairs were spacier , more comfortable and looked like reserved chair for the head of the family (if you grew up in the 70's Fast forward (airborne already), I was the only one in the Business class , what I heard next was 'what do you want to eat' the yoruba man in me was screaming Pounded Yam and Efo riro ,I had to bind it in Jesus name and suppress the voice.

I asked for options and I opted for what suited me well. Apparently, the head official is my silent follower on IG and had requested I be moved to the business class out of all the other passenger On landing,I was the first to alight of the aircraft , I momentarily felt like the President of Nation, it took me extra Grace not to lift up my two hands to wave to imaginary crowd that weren't there..

To my surprise, I was hearing he's a VIP ,VIP, lo and behold ,an hilux vehicle picked me from the foot of the aircraft to the arrival wing . It is was really a memorable trip .

Lessons

1. Whatever it is you are doing be committed to it

2. You don't know who is watching you

3. Learn to smile and always have a good attitude .

4. Who you know matters ,who knows you also counts

5. Until you're valuable ,you may not attract attention

6. Be Deliberate about your online brand

A young lady was seriously disgraced yesterday after being accused of witchcraft and also killing her new baby. The accused who sells fish at Okirighwre market in Sapele, Delta state - was followed by a crowd of residents who rained insults on her and called her a witch as they followed her in public.

According to them, they tried to give her a public humiliation in order to drive away the 'evil spirit' from her body according to their tradition.
