Jayess:People are just ripping open the gibberish you wrote, absolute nonsense. The Op has a very weak presence. Listen I have led teams/managed huge number of employees across diverse industries, the number one rule is dedication/firmness. If you are paid to do job, there is no option, you've got to do it and very well. That's why there is performance reviews! |
Jayess:Talking to them apologetically is absolute gibberish and utter nonsense. |
Some years ago I was sent to man a branch where there was an issue. I noticed the security personnels were already doubling as admin staffs, so they were ashamed to wear uniforms. I quickly summoned the entire team, and informed them that things will be done a little differently henceforth. I also conveyed my expectations expect everyone to conduct his/herself in the best possible way. A few complied, others blatantly refused, I came to work on a certain monday and recommended 6 of the erring staff be removed, infact my MD called and was very angry with me for not doing that earlier. Sack and replace all of them. ALL |
Rule number 1 change the locks of all major entrances before you pack in. I will advise you dont suspect anybody without tangible proof, count your losses and move on. All it takes for a blacksmith to replicate your key, is just the sample. This guys can press your key against a bar of soap, and thats all. Rule 2, don't fail to regard the street hoodlums, I normally buy plenty booze and smoke occasionally for the area boys for my hood, my wife frowns at it. I reminded her that a day will come when she will begin to appreciate their usefulness. the street code, even thief go loyal die, if you know what to do. And the day did come, my son was ill so she left for hospital late, while she was returning around 11pm, she did a bad reverse in a lonely road, and ended up in a gutter. She was scared to the teeth, small time some boys just fall out, she overhead saying na boss wife be this, they helped her push the car out and even gave her some cover. Now even she don dey follow dash them money. |
I advise men to keep away from living with female nannies. It can land you in jail. Be careful... |
Arry110:Yes, do that IMMEDIATELY. Will follow asap, he works in a decent industry and we would hold him accountable for his indiscretion |
Reply with his telephone number immidiately, I will give you a response asap! |
Na so my mama go pay 1.3m give one guy for land matter. The guy just dey play the poor old woman. After like 8 months I got wind of this development. I quickly tracked the guy. I visited him, we arrived in a black tinted honda. I told him point blank that I am giving him 7 days to return that full money. I walked away. 7 days later he paid mum in full and another 200k as accrued interest. Him dey craze. Track the motherfucker, if youve got military friends, ask them to accompany you. The money will come out asap. What is the proof that money was released, just incase he wishes to deny, use proof, use psychology. If he tries to deny, remind him you recorded the conversation that day(never you disclose that you dont have evidence) bully him, show very strong character. Thank me later. |
Hello Folks, it been a cold morning over here in canada, so after a cup of hot tea and some pieces of akara, I decided to share a story that could possibly help the young people questing endlessly for a job. Sometime in February 2010, after countless submission of CVs and trekking virtually the entire Nigeria, I was lucky to meet a man who knows the MD of a certain multinational coy in lagos, an interview was scheduled, the first ever interview in my relatively young life. When I got home, I quickly shaved off my beards, and started reading up interview questions/salary negotiation lol. Person wey get zero job experience dey eye fat salary lol. On the D day, I arrived to behold the most beautify edifice I ever walked into since my life, I had to countlessly remind myself that I was gonna nail this, I called over 10 pastors to pray for me. The ambience was extremely wow, I checked out the car pack, dress code of the employees, I knew I was in for something very big. After a brief intro with the gorgeously looking big bum secretary, I was asked to move into a smaller office while I wait for the MD to call me, in fact I hurriedly balanced on the couch and asked a certain guy to give me some clean shots. If atall , make I see pic upload for facebook. After like 30mins, a lady walked up to me and said, you are next. Again I quickly readjusted my okirika shirt and my faded black trousers and an icing of my aboki perf and quickly moved in. I met a graciously looking man, oh my God, I reiterated money good. On the corner i saw a TV, so this man actually saw me posing recklessly on his lobby, any ancentral demon/village people, die by fire. He asked a few questions and then he said. Wait more outside please. Ladies and gentlemen, 10mins later, the lady approached and gave me a letter that literally shaped my life forever, pls read through and let us know if you accept the terms she said. Nwanne, for the first time in my life, I erupted in wild joy, I couldn't control the joy, infact I wept profusely, pay was over 300k plus including others. I quickly signed off and asked if I could see the MD. She obliged, I walked in knelt down and thanked him, his only response to me , you need to get married immediately son. I will stop here for now, wify just served rice and banga stew. |

listen folks, anytime an issue about rape pops up. it gets me increasingly worried. We are witnessing a crusade by feminists with an intent to cause the downfall of men. As a father and a son, its worrying. (there is also this sentiments during reporting stories of a girl child? I want to ask a question, what about the male child? the narrative is coined to attract pity once a woman or a girl is involved. I remember vividly the spineless accusation by Mrs Dakolo, a whole lot believed her story (identical to what a 2 year old would narrate, Nigerians crucified Fatoyinbo without asking basic questions) listen out folks, this is a strategy to endanger the male specie, I urge you all to raise your hands to this unjust actions by perceived feminists. Do you know all in the name of looking for who to hurt, some people walk around schools asking nanny's and house helps how they are being treated at home, ( my friend is currently doing 3 years) mostly by their husbands. I had to send my nanny home to avoid a repeat of such hopeless accusations. All these events worries me a lot because the day shall come, when we all, our sons and fathers shall be afraid to walk the streets, because of fear of being tagged a rapist. I call for a very strong law be put in place to dissuade ladies with rogue intentions. Finally, rape is evil and must be condemned by all and sundry. ladies involved should be able to speak up immediately not later. Let their voices be heard if its genuine!! but if found to be maliciously induced, the law should mete out a very stiff penalty on them. lest i forget what happened to the lady that accused neymar of rape? Has she been jailed? |
Lonelypacifist6:We need more practical examples. Thanks Lonely pacifist, hope to hear your story someday. I remember vividly June 2016, when my company downsized, I was left with absolutely nothing. We were young and exuberant, so we didn't plan properly. Had our wedding in Feb, had our son in June same year barely 15days later I was affected at work. It was a torrid time, God bless her brothers and my family. At some point the family was literally surviving on her 19,800 nysc allowance. I was so afraid for the marriage, in the end God smiled even bigger upon us all. Now I remember vididly how the ladies playfully mocked me of being in absolute bondage during our court session lol, the loyalty, trust and friendship we exhibited comes from the fact that we really loved each other. During my relief duty in faraway calabar, I met my efik wife, now I am the first son in an ibo family, a lot of people had their concerns, brought me all sort of ibo ladies cos I was seemingly rich, handsome, a good job lol, I still chose her and did I make the right choice, of course I did. My number one rule should be LOVE. Remember, of all emotions, love is the strongest. I also think we should promote more interethnic marriages, there is a certain level of consciousness where both parties strive to be the best nonetheless. Cos I remember my wife trying so hard to prove to me when we were dating that indeed the mindset about calabar ladies is untrue, and yes I really do think it's untrue. Less I forget my kids have efik names too. |
I just finished enjoying a delicious plate of nsala soup with goat meat with plenty roundabouts and flyovers, i decided to cool off with nairaland and this story of how my husband scammed me caught my attention. A week ago, a neighbor summoned me to help wade into his marriage (since the lady is from my village) he feels, the wife wants a divorce. Now before I begin both parties are young and unusually successful in their careers and lest i forget they have 2 lovely kids together. [i pray he doesnt visit nairaland sha lol] I asked a few questions as to what he perceives the problem to be, his answers were along the line of always busy, work etc. I told myself I was gonna try talk to the wife, after all my first class for guidance and counseling no be beans. Yesterday, I visited the home and asked the wife for a separate session. which she obliged. I pressed for answers and prayed her to get back to her husband, not withstanding what has happened. I asked her if the man has done anything she finds terribly annoying. she kept a huge silence and replied, i don't love him again. chisos, I became increasingly worried cos this is a marriage of barely 4 years. as if that was not enough she dropped a bombshell, she told me, she doesn't know how to tell him but she doesn't feel comfortable changing up in their bedroom, she uses the kids room. i was left in total awe. In the end i advised they both go for counseling and most importantly pray more. I quickly ended the session, and while i drove home i was practically inundated with loads of thoughts. I've got a relatively young home, a stunning wife, two lovely damsels and once its 5pm, I am always the first to dash off .work can wait, infact work can go to hell, family stays forever. I use to brag that if you see me sitting out, drinking beer with a plate of nkwobi look around well, my family is with me. This is just to express my deep rooted love i have for them. and I do not see anything breaking this bond. so I ask, why the rampant cases of divorce, can matured minds provide some clues so we can all learn. Its an unGodly practice. However, back to work. |

Please do not feel despondent, the way some folks here are eating your offer for lunch. They prolly never walked in your shoes brother, they would have had a different mindset. A wise man once said that a bird at hand, you know the rest. 15 years ago, a gift of 500 naira to me meant a lot, I appreciated it as you gave me a million. Growing up was tough, having to train a whole family. But like the saying goes, do not despise the days of humble beginnings. Ive got some advice for you little brother, be thoroughly drilled, soak up the relentless pressure that will come, develop and evolve yourself, and pray to whatever God you worship, show lots of gratitude. Today, I have two younger brothers working in oil companies, and myself doing fairly OK. sometimes , we joke about the days of constant beans porridge, and we give it a loud laugh. My mum kept reminding me, Believing in yourself is where it all begins. send me an inbox(ejasndota@gmail.com) I will surely help in my little way. May God smile upon you always |
I want to ask you this. If all you have to offer is friendship, who will still be around you? Situations expose fake people, so sometimes, it takes getting down on life, to find out whose there with you. Some of us have fought for people, who will never throw a punch for us. They care much about your struggle, but silent when you win. These are the ones we call friends!!! Support does not always come from familiar faces, so do not be surprised if God places a stranger in your life to take you to higher places. Mindsets are very contagious so WAKE UP, everyone's plan for you is not to make it. Know who you call a friend!!! God bless us. |
Kylekent59:First meaningful comment. I remembered a day I was accused of robbing my hostel 15 years ago, a bitter neighbor came and pointed at me, I was arrested and detained. Funny enough guy man dey with him babe for room. Since that day, I've learnt to be slow in pointing fingers. We inhabit a cruel world where people could anything to pull you down. Let's be more careful |
Goddys:Litigation is the last resort, people have evolved to even more delicate but effective means, like sendding sms to all your contacts, blacklisting you on CRC. with the recent approval by CBN, a debtor can draw his funds from any account you own(BVN). i see a strong future in the loan recovery lending space! |
