If what we hear in the news about APC having a deadlock in choosing Buhari's running mate is anything to go by, then we must ensure Buhari is not elected in 2015 with the following reasons; 1. If Gen. Buhari does not have the sole right to choose his own running mate, and can only wait for a few 'Cabal' to impose one on him then we should be rest assured that the same 'cabal' will automatically run the affairs of this country if Buhari is elected. They will sure impose any and everything on him.................!!! 2. Gen Buhari does not have a working plan for this country otherwise before this time he or APC should have had someone in mind who shares thesame vision to help him actualize his plan as a running mate rather than this fire brigade approach. 3. Gen. Buhari will constantly seek to please this 'cabal' as payback for his election victory and as such will be mortgaging the future of this great country which we and some have fought for with their very blood ...!!! 4. Gen. Buhari will have too many political financiers, banks loans and 'settlements' of Tinubu, Atiku and Co to pay back and as such will 'steal' |
Kenai:@Kenai, you obviously have been watching too much evil movies...!!! You seem to be seeing evil even when you look in the mirror...!!! |
Now let the fight begin....!!! Amaechi, come back without the VP ticket and you are finished politically...!!! Tinubu, this is your last and only opportunity don't be out smarted...!!! SE now or never, go Okorocha go...!!! |

Muhammadu Buhari (born December 17, 1942) is a Nigerian politician and a retired Major General in the Nigerian Army who was the military ruler of Nigeria from December 31, 1983 to August 27, 1985. Just in case he wins against GEJ come 2015, he will be marking his 73rd Birthday as President of the FRN and after 1 term of 4 years, he will be marking 77th birthday. If he decides to do a second term, he will be 81 after the 2 terms of 8 years...!!! |
Breaking News...!!! Atiku Abubakar is asking for a refund of his monies from the delegates. Details later |
GEJ Vs GMB, History to repeat itself after 2011 now in 2015 without the other contenders in the persons of Nuhu Ribadu (Governorship Aspirant Adamawa State) and Ibrahim Shekarau (Current Minister of Education) Meanwhile this was what Prof Wole Soyinka said about GMB in 2011...!!! "Buhari owes a debt to this nation, not the other way round. If Buhari wishes to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the citizenry whom he has so cruelly wronged, he should first scuttle his ambitions, then place whatever following he has garnered in the meantime at the disposal of a consensus candidate among the opposition. To insist on another taste of power, after such a history of gross abuse of power is an insult to any nation that values freedom and human dignity" (Wole Soyinka) |
The aftermath of 2011 General election, GMB's boys went wild torching properties worth billions. Now its just APC primaries hope they've learnt how to accept defeat honorably? |

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has said he is the most experienced candidate to lead Nigeria out of its present predicament. Atiku said he would have defeated former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2003 if he had contested against his principal. He described President Goodluck Jonathan as an inexperienced leader under whose leadership Nigeria was going through the worst of times. Atiku, who is an aspirant of the All Progressives Congress presidential ticket, said he was the only one with the best democratic credentials to lead Nigeria to the next level. The former Vice President spoke in Jos on Tuesday while addressing presidential delegates for Plateau State at his Rayfield House in Jos. The APC presidential aspirant however said he was not desperate for power as he was ready to support any candidate that emerged as the party’s presidential flag bearer. He said, “All these people contesting the presidency are inexperienced compared to my own experience and qualities in democracy, having been the Vice President of Nigeria for good eight years and nobody has broken this record today. “Nobody fought the military in this country for democracy like me. My mentor, the late Shehu Yar’Adua, lost his life in the course of this struggle. For that reasone, I’m the most experienced politician among those contesting the Presidency.” http://www.punchng.com/news/im-the-most-experienced-to-lead-nigeria-atiku/ |

Details to follow The All Progressives Congress on Tuesday began the screening of it’s five presidential aspirants with the publisher of Leadership Newspaper, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah. He appeared before the Dr. Ogbonnaya 0nu-led committee. Addressing reporters before the commencement of the exercise, Onu said the committee would not spare any effort in ensuring that only aspirants considered fit and proper, were presented during the forth coming convention. The chairman also said, each of the aspirants would be required to sign an undertaking to abide by the party’s guidelines and commit to supporting the eventual winner of ticket even if they loose the contest. According to him, each of them will also be required to collapse their individual platforms into the larger party platform whether they win or lose. Onu said, “In screening our aspirants, we will take into consideration the Constitution of our party, the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Electoral Act 2010. We would be doing something that is novel in our country because we want to really effect change. “We will attach a lot of importance to the manifesto of the party, we would like to know how ready our aspirants are to the urging needs of the nation in the areas of security, the economy, job creation, foriegn policy and corruption.” He also said successful aspirants will be presented with their certificates of clearance to contest the primaries at the end of the exercise on Wednesday. At the end of his screening, Nda- Isaiah expressed confidence about his chances. He described the exercise as the biggest job interview in the nation. He said, “If you go for an examination, you know whether you passed or you failed. I passed. We are not like the other party that printed just one form. This shows you how serious our party is. Nda- Isaiah promised to tackle corruption and rebuild the confidence of Nigerians in one another. He said it was sad that Nigerians are today more divided than any other time in recent memory adding that no meaningful development can take place in a nation where it’s component units are so divided. Members of the screening committee include: Ahmed Jidda, Senator Abubakar Saraki, Dr. Sam Sam Jaja, Bisi Abayomi, Prof. Dannis Abolapo, Tom Maiyaki and Ambassador Fatima Balla. http://www.punchng.com/news/apc-begins-screening-of-presidential-aspirants/ |
The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed three appeals for stay of proceedings application brought by the suspended Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Peter Agumagu, against the National Judicial Council. Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour, in his judgment, held that the appeals were premature and dismissed them accordingly. Rhodes-Vivour said: “We have examined this and the other grounds of appeal and are satisfied that the issues in the appeal are matters that can be brought to this court when the appeals are concluded. “Accordingly, the appellant’s application for a stay of proceedings of the pending appeals in the Court of Appeal is hereby struck out. “The notice of appeal to this court is also struck out.” Rhodes-Vivour also ordered all the parties in the suit to go back to the Court of Appeal for hearing of the main appeal. The NJC suspended Agumagu on March 27, nine days after he was sworn in as the Rivers State Chief Judge by Governor Rotimi Amaechi. Agumagu had sued the NJC over the suspension and prayed for a judicial review of his case by the court. The suit was before Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court. The NJC had said it did not recommend Agumagu to Amaechi for the appointment, which, it said, contravened Section 271 of the 1999 Constitution. The section stipulates that a governor can only make such appointment on NJC’s recommendation. Ademola decided to hear the case together with the objections raised by the NJC and three others. However, Agumagu’s counsel, Chief Akinlolu Olujinmi (SAN), argued that decision of the trial court to compile the records of proceedings of the decision of the NJC within 14 days was wrong. The records had outlined the basis for Agumagu’s suspension. But Olujinmi contended that the compilation of the records at the trial court did not follow due process because the law stipulated 60 days for the record to be compiled. He further argued that the Court of Appeal had no jurisdiction to hear the appeal if the records of appeal were not properly compiled. Counsel, therefore, prayed the Court of Appeal to strike out the records and compel the Court of Appeal to stay proceedings in the appeal. The Court of Appeal, however, refused to grant his prayers, following which he approached to the apex court. Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), NJC’s counsel, however, opposed the appeal. Olanipekun said Olujinmi should have waited for the Court of Appeal to decide the substantive appeal. The apex court ordered the Court of Appeal to hear the appeal with dispatch and that any party aggrieved by its judgment could then bring an appeal to the Supreme Court. http://theeagleonline.com.ng/supreme-court-dismisses-suspended-rivers-cjs-appeal/ |
