Results are not out yet and we should have learnt better from two weeks ago, but let us speculate for a moment. If Rivers people do infact express their free will without duress and threat of violence and vote for Wike then they would deserve Wike. That is all that can be said, a people deserve the leaders they get. Voting for Wike is voting for a return to the days of the wild wild west in Rivers and the days of Odilli, of unprecedented corruption and impunity without development, of the continued prominence of Patience and her gang of touts. Do people forget so quickly that Obio Akpor under Wike when he was chairman was the bloodiest and most poorly run local government in the state? If people of Rivers state abandon common sense because of childish sentiments and amnesia then that is their cup of tea, when the elections have come and gone they would be the ones to live with the aftermath. The only sensible choice for sensible people is between Tonye Princewill and Dakuku Peterside.

Blame Amaechi for APC's defeat in Rivers State.They claimed that WIke was right when he said Rivers State can't play opposition to the Center. Amaechi was the pioneer Gov. that led Rivers People to play Opposition to the center and he must be paid back with thesame coin

(1) You are not permitted to have a result sheet in your possession but you can have a picture of it. The electoral law demands that results MUST be announced at each PU, ward and LG collation centre. The result sheets are also supposed to be pasted in each PU. Check your electoral law bro. It happened in most places in Lagos. I can show you at least 5 result sheets from around the country.

(2) The soldiers may not have been at the PUs, but they were at the collation centres and drove out all the agents of the other parties, leaving only the PDP agents. Ask the APC and LP agent[/b]s.

if you came to Rivers during the Pres. elections, you would know what I am talking about. It was bad! Military, police and INEC collaborated with PDP!! bad!

If you doubt me, show me ONE PU result sheet! ONE. JUST ONE!

First, i can't show you one PU result sheet cos i'm not permitted by law to have one in my possession. Secondly, i was an Election Observer during that election in RS and can state categorically that in all the PU visited with my team, we did not see Military presence in any PU in RS. We only saw Military at strategic major roads like Elele and Omoku where there had been reports of violence.

I agree with you..!! We must not down-play the role of the opposition in our Political sphere otherwise the ruling party would go wild. There must be checks and balance. David Mark should not be ashamed to play the role of the Minority Leader in the Red Chambers as Nigerians would soon start seeing fightings in that Chambers of the 8th Assembly that they didn't see in the 7th with Mark's mature handling

Over the last 50 years, the Igbos of Nigeria has faced many crimes than almost any civilized population in the world. The latest threat by the Highest Traditional Ruler in Yorubaland; The Oba of Lagos is one that should not be taken lightly. Due to the slow pace of the Judiciary system in Nigeria, the ICC provides the only real chance of justice for the Igbos at the present scheme. In the coming week, we understand the Igbo Lawyers would be sending a petition to the ICC against the Oba of Lagos. This is an online follow up to urge the ICC Prosecutors to pursue this petition and initiate an investigation into the alleged threat and if proven to be true, the Oba should be brought to Justice to serve as a deterrent to others who don’t see the need for peaceful co-existence of all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion or ethnic differences.

#4,500 for first training,
#3,000 for 2nd training

allowance,
#10,000 for logistics,

If you collect any amount less than this, it means you have been swindled or duped..

that NO PAYMENT,
NO GUBERNATORIAL/HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY election policy.
Don't say you were not told because they will not want/like to pay again after election..

With your comment are you intending to boycott the exercise due to none payment? Maybe you want to repeat your service year cos as long as you are wearing those uniforms, you belong to the FG and can not protest against the FG. Go and read your NYSC Bible again...!!! Moreover boycotting the election as an official is a violation of the Electoral Act that has its own consequencies.

If GEJ knew the heat was too hot for him as Gov. Fashola had advised earlier, why didn't he get out of the kitchen long before the contest? If he knew he would concede defect without a single fight he should have allowed the PDP field another candidate from the North to challenge the APC. If GEJ is not corrupt as he wants us to believe, he should stand shoulder to shoulder with the President-Elect and challenge him to probe his administration and if found wanton he will be prepared to face the music. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a believer of GEJ and will continue to be but if I had an opportunity to advise him, I will advise him not to go down without a fight no matter the cost. .
