BiHung:https://www.nairaland.com/2251851/confirmed-results-wike-leads-rivers PDP is obviously leading in Rivers. I will upload jubilations pix from residents inspite of the rain soon |
What about the 'Governorship' election for the Central Bank of Nigeria? When will they conduct that one since na only the Governor of CBN we dey hear, we no go cast our vote for am? Joke ni...!!! |
otokx:Be matured enough to accept defeat my dear for he who does not know when to accept defeat honorable is not fit for the game...!!! The reality on ground is that Rivers People have rejected Amaechi and the APC from their soil |
Has Dakuku Called to congratulate Wike yet? or they want to start their protest since APC does not know how to concede defeat...!!! |
SkyBlue1:Blame Amaechi for APC's defeat in Rivers State. They claimed that WIke was right when he said Rivers State can't play opposition to the Center. Amaechi was the pioneer Gov. that led Rivers People to play Opposition to the center and he must be paid back with thesame coin |
ochukofortune:There would be Lacuna in Government House if that happens. RS can not be without a Governor after May 29. |
Returning from Warri to Port Harcourt on a very sunny afternoon, he pulled over by those roadside plantain sellers to buy some for his wife. Without stepping out of his car and the engine still steaming, he negotiated the price and told the lady to drop a bunch in his boot and then come for her N3k. Unknown to the lady, the man had planned to zoom off as soon as she bangs the boot after supposedly dropping the plantain inside his car (Sharp Man, keeping both plantain and money). Meanwhile, unknown to the man the lady had also planned to drop the bunch on the floor (outside the car), bang the boot and collect her money (Sharp lady, collecting free money). She did exactly what she’d planned and the man also did what he’d planned. After dropping the bunch on the floor outside the car and banged the boot, she made to go for her money and to her greatest shock the man zoomed off. Well, the man also got his greatest shock when he got home and didn’t see any plantain in the boot. Though he blamed the disappearance on some mystical means but the question is, between the both of them who would be judged as the greatest crook? |
Noted. I will revisit this trend on the Morning after the April 11th Election...!!! |
The delegation that paid the courtesy visit to the Oba went as Igbo representatives and not as ‘friends of the Oba’ as this good for nothing Lawyer wants us to believe. The Oba should be royal enough to differentiate between the two and guide his utterances. I suggest this Lawyer be jokingly thrown into the Lagoon for lying...!!! Nonsense |

stronger:They are the accusers what else would i expect to hear from them? |
stronger: First, i can't show you one PU result sheet cos i'm not permitted by law to have one in my possession. Secondly, i was an Election Observer during that election in RS and can state categorically that in all the PU visited with my team, we did not see Military presence in any PU in RS. We only saw Military at strategic major roads like Elele and Omoku where there had been reports of violence. |
If this is true then Gov. Amaechi is indicting himself. How can he and his party be accusing GEJ of deploying military for election and now be calling a Military friend for support for election purposes? |
micolaj: I agree with you..!! We must not down-play the role of the opposition in our Political sphere otherwise the ruling party would go wild. There must be checks and balance. David Mark should not be ashamed to play the role of the Minority Leader in the Red Chambers as Nigerians would soon start seeing fightings in that Chambers of the 8th Assembly that they didn't see in the 7th with Mark's mature handling |
With all these decampees we can now see that APC is an extension of PDP the only 'change' is just in the name |
Lemon12:Thanks for providing further proof...!!! |
Over the last 50 years, the Igbos of Nigeria has faced many crimes than almost any civilized population in the world. The latest threat by the Highest Traditional Ruler in Yorubaland; The Oba of Lagos is one that should not be taken lightly. Due to the slow pace of the Judiciary system in Nigeria, the ICC provides the only real chance of justice for the Igbos at the present scheme. In the coming week, we understand the Igbo Lawyers would be sending a petition to the ICC against the Oba of Lagos. This is an online follow up to urge the ICC Prosecutors to pursue this petition and initiate an investigation into the alleged threat and if proven to be true, the Oba should be brought to Justice to serve as a deterrent to others who don’t see the need for peaceful co-existence of all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion or ethnic differences. sleemoon: Don't worry, either as a corper or not, my point is obstruct the election exercise and you will be reciting the Book of Lamentation...!!! |
sleemoon: With your comment are you intending to boycott the exercise due to none payment? Maybe you want to repeat your service year cos as long as you are wearing those uniforms, you belong to the FG and can not protest against the FG. Go and read your NYSC Bible again...!!! Moreover boycotting the election as an official is a violation of the Electoral Act that has its own consequencies. |
Just what i told a friend after reading the threat. He must be taken to ICC, NHRC etc...!!! This is the height of Dictatorship and a slap on the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Oba should be dethroned. He is suppose to be apolitical and a father of all irrespective of tribe and ethnic backgroud. Just imagine the Obi of Onitsha issuing such statement against the Hausa's and Yoruba's in the South Eastern States |

If GEJ knew the heat was too hot for him as Gov. Fashola had advised earlier, why didn't he get out of the kitchen long before the contest? If he knew he would concede defect without a single fight he should have allowed the PDP field another candidate from the North to challenge the APC. If GEJ is not corrupt as he wants us to believe, he should stand shoulder to shoulder with the President-Elect and challenge him to probe his administration and if found wanton he will be prepared to face the music. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a believer of GEJ and will continue to be but if I had an opportunity to advise him, I will advise him not to go down without a fight no matter the cost. . |
ayukdaboss:Chaos like you guys did during GEJ's tenure right? In all fairness to GEJ, if Buhari can not bear thesame chaos GEJ did for 4 years without keeping the Nation together, then he's a worst failure |
Segeggs: No pain, no gain...!!! We are ready for the struggle and any sell out is welcomed but will be regreted sooner than later...!!! |
One of the response we can give for the obvious gang up against GEJ in the last Election is a protest vote against the APC during the upcoming guber election across the SS and SE states. Just like the SW had a regional party (ACN) and the North, ANPP & CPC when PDP was at the center so the SS and SE should make the PDP their regional party and vote out the APC in all the gubernetorial elections across the SS and SE states in protest to the obvious gang up. This is my candid submission...!!! |
The only response we can give to the loss is a protest vote against the APC in the SS and SE during the guber elections. Just like the SW had a regional party (ACN) when the PDP was at the center so the SS and SE should make the PDP their regional party and vote out the APC in all the gubernetorial elections across the SS and SE states in protest. DesChyko:Same here...!!! Gov. Amaechi saw that Rivers people ignored him and his so called curfew. |
The 3 day old curfew in Rivers State has been suspended by Gov. Amaechi for residents to celebrate the Easter Holidays freely. Details shortly |
It's A P R I L F O O L D A Y T O M O R R O W....!!! Please stay out of trouble Happy New Month in advance...!!! |
