When I mean independent mentality, she is the kind of girl that doesn’t want to depend on a man, she hustles for her money and she is industrious, but there are some expectations she is having at the moment which is not conducive for it to be met, like she wants us to go for vacations, to spoil her from time to time, surprise her with gifts, she is of the opinion that’s how girls are wired. In all these aforementioned she is ready to foot her own part of the bill she will be like let’s save up and go for vacation or she wants you to reciprocate good gestures promptly. I have explained to her we can’t be seeking immediate gratifications or comfort when we haven’t consolidated our future, that you need to deprive yourself now and invest aggressively so that you can enjoy the future in entirety but she seems not to be heeding to this school of thought. The few investments she have I was the one that pushed her to do them, she is also very thankful that if not for me her business acumen would have been zero.
