oladeebo: FG either ignorant or hidden something for Nigerian on the issue of borders closure. Reason, the most friendship nation of all the countries surrounding Nigeria is Benin Republic, but why open the border of those countries exported terrorist to us and closed those that never attack us. My guy honestly i seem not to understand these things Never ever heard of any hostility from Benin & let's be factual With opened border the poor will have food to eat but with a closed border we'll have low import, good economy which will eventually put money in the pockets of our useless politicians But they'll rather build railway to Niger than Benin But I blame some of you SW here for things like this People like , the mods & owners of this nairaland don't wanna see the truth |

Sirjamo: He did all that to please the north because, he thought it would make the south west irrelevant.
Zik committed the original sin which the whole south is suffering from today.
How could an African giant like him agree to be a ceremonial president without portfolio? Must you always rope yourself in this? Guy, is it not proof to most of you that Igbos are not seeing the SW as an issue to itself? SW standalone has never been, isn't & will never be the problem of the SE The SE issue with SW is interfering with it's issues with the North Bros, Zik is so light minded for that Zik who even fought against Ojukwu for wanting Biafra? Zik who ran away to London & had to keep pushing for 1 Nigeria against the will of the people? Zik became staunch enemies with Ojukwu during the civil war Stop selling this lie There's no proof even till today that Igbos has done anything to stop the SW even when people like you kept driving the Igbos are destroying the. We cannot gather drywoods and insist the Lizard remains unwelcome in our homes This is bad and condemnation in strong terms If we the SE keep burning down & killing policemen unprovoked then shouldn't the armies be deployed; even if we have Biafra today, killing a policeman will draw such huge force adequately If the policemen killed people & were attacked in the spot then we'd say tit-for-tat but this current onslaught on the police is sooooo wrong And yes may all such perpetrators die from GOD's wrath |

PoloG: yes.. but we dey travel go where better pass our land .i.e western countries So, those with gruesome murder stories of killings of their family & friends up North from the SW went were was better than their place? For your lesson: Igbos migrate mostly cos of distraction from friends & family. We Igbo have lots of communal activities When in isolation, you're more self aware & focused pursuing your career. However, this also somehow influences crime cos one is in a place he isn't known, accountable or may not be traceable |

Africans and caribbean share the remaining 2-3m.. and there are more afro caribbeans in the U.S than Africans.. So nigerians in the U.s cannot be more than 500,000... but legal and illegal I have given you an official link, the recorded & legal no of Nigerians in the US is 300k & without even the official projection you and I know that more than 60% of Nigerians residing in the US are overstay visa recipients who stay illegal till they get papers & become legal. |

Angelswt: Good evening.
Yes, TB result is required for visa application.
On getting a closer date I am not certain.
However, you can send a mail or better still go to the test centre and explain to them.
You might be able to sort it out.
P.s. At IOM Lagos office yesterday, those that weren't able to book TB appointment online, were given 11th and 18th of June as available dates...
I hope this helps. Do one need to go there physically if the verification email link isn't going through? |

temitope27: Yoruba seek for greeners pasture in the land of opportunity, you hardly see Yoruba s in foreign land for decades while suffering but few in London and America which one is your one u can travel to village where even the indigene are trying to move out, come to villages in AKURE and idanre and see many of ur people working as labourer and still remain here for decades without having anything, some times I wonder may be some of u are banished from going back home, they just decided to stay here as if they are doing well I wish you can understand yourself Go to remote Ebonyi and see Yorubas as tailors I grew up at Onitsha knowing over 60% tailors either as Ghanaians or Yorubas, likewise Mason jobs and local jerb hawkers. The Igbo is one of the most home-attached African tribe; there's hardly any Igboman aside their businesses who doesn't have more percentage of their wealth in their village than outside |

You people are so jealous of progress Igbos travel coa they So the British travelled widely colonising many lands means their home isn't safe or sth? blackinitiative: Nice ideas.I would just like to add. 1) Blocking all land borders with our neighbouring countries, our relationship with them is parasitic. 2) Build an independent fund for the Development of the Niger Delta region. 3)Revoke all mining licenses and prohibit the exportation of raw minerals,no mineral must be exported in raw form,we must add value 4)Encourage large scale mechanized farming in the North and making sure the real farmers get the biggest gains and not Middlemen. 5)A robust educational program such that every child will be happy to go to school 6)Encouraging Community responsibility such that members of a community will see it as a must to see the children of such communities grow. 7)Educating the public on what impact the stealing of public funds with have on every community.
Critical analysis of Political matters even at the community level such that people will be able to make independent political choices and criticize government policies constructively. 9)Massive Industrialization programs and making sure there is a substitute for what ever we import. buckeyemedia: Or most would sabotage themselves, & blame it on President Buhari, it is always easy to blame the President, not the Governor of your state we elected? Mind over matter, blaming others doesn’t solve the problem. I agree with you but same president have refused to devolve power upon all the pleas to decentralise power The truth is that you can't actually hold most of these govs responsible cos Abuja has more of the power Yes, not everything should we blame PMB for but why can't he just do the little ones he can do? Nigerians don't need much as we work hard for ourselves; we only begged him not to stop the sources of our income How can PMB blame border for his bad foreign policies, lock the borders, "impoverished" the poor and people are hungry Do you know what rice at N10k will do to other food prices in the market? Crash them Meanwhile these politicians feed on foreign rice |
