For VO to advice to take that show a lot of green light o...
The possibility that your visa may be approved is very high, just be prayerful
Good luck

Akinsu:
So while I followed instructions I got here to do the Duolingo test, I already paid and was about to do the test when I got another mail from the Visa office asking me to do Duolingo actually. I did it yesterday and I’m waiting for the results so I can forward to the Visa Office. I just hope that the only requirement I need to be approved since that’s all they requested for

I only submitted my naira account where I deducted the money I used for the EDUBOND. I don't know if you understand? What I mean is that the account that has the 3M I withdrew to change for the euro I deposited to my euro account was what I printed out to show that the money was from my account.

I used First Bank of Nigeria (FBN)

I hope am able to answer your question?

DammyDurst:
Okay, that makes sense.

Did you provide the statement of account to that particular euro account to the embassy or just the proof of payment?

Also, what bank did you open your euro account with please?

My brother, ICaSNg is well experienced than most of us here....
Please do heed to her advice she will not deceive you. You have heard her say she attends training and as well get first hand info from Irish embassy.
We do not compete with anyone here or show we sabi pass some.... we are all here to learn.
I guess you are either an applicant or aspiring to apply so relax, grab enough experience, make your application and wait for approval...
I wish you good luck

seunny4lif:
It’s better to mention me than to make it indirectly
Now back to the topic here
What I posted was from DBS, you can read it again
I insisted you can a visa as a mature Student over the age of 25 years.
So madam grin grin

Thank you...

I had to open euro account and transfer 7045 euro because they will subtract some charges from the money so if you send 7000euro the money will not be up to 7000euro after removing some charges and that will reflect on the receipt they will give, Remember Irish embassy demands we pay 7000euro for EDUBOND.
I hope I answered the question

DammyDurst:
Congratulations mate.

When applying for the Edubond, did you use a domiciliary account or the Form A? If you used the domiciliary account, did you have to provide the statement of account for that domiciliary account as well?
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Chibabe4Christ: 1:35pm On Sep 03, 2020
Thank God ooooo
I have answered all that...
Am hoping to see you all in Ireland by HIS garce

Princeadex04:
We need more of this, I understand what would be going through your mind when you first got refused. Thank God you scaled through. When did you got refused and when did you appeal? and after your appeal when did you get a decision?
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Chibabe4Christ: 1:32pm On Sep 03, 2020
Thank you very much
My first application was for February intake so I submitted in October 2019.
Got refused in December 2019
Appealed that same December 2019
because of covid, I didn't hear anything from them even when I sent several mail, notting from the embassy so I lost hope since they were not answering. To my greatest surprise my visa was approved 2nd week embassy was opened in July and I got my kpali in August hahhahaaa....
It can only be GOD ooooo

NOTE: For those that are appealing, if you think you are behind the scheduled time for your academic session, do not be in a hurry, you can request for a new offer letter for the next academic session from your international officer so that VO will will not capitalise on the reason that your school will soon start to deny you again.
That was what I did in my own case. My initial application was for February intake but I got a new offer letter and invitation to register for September intake, appealed and got approved.

I hope this helps
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

SasukeNG:
Congratulations! and thank you for sharing your experience.

When did you do your first application?
How long did your apeal take?

You are right...
For those that their visa were denied, am truly sorry about that but the truth is that I was once in that terrible mood when I was denied. I felt the world has collapsed on me but little did I know that it was the will of GOD.
What do I mean? My first application was 101% ok. I submitted everything even added extra documents to prove my transparency. My financial aspect was clearly stated. I had enough money left after i have paid my school fees, I presented my letter of employment, my pay slips, letter of recommendation from our HR..... Infact my statement of account I printed corresponded with my pay slips and inflow/outflow of money was 101% consistence. All the reasons for their denial were funny because they were part of the evidence I presented. Eg My financial status, date of birth (Note: I have never used another date of birth since my childhood, my WAEC result has my original date of birth crested on it, my birth certificate from NCC, my baptizmal card looking old you will clearly know that it was not forged in all they said I gave a fake date of birth... hahahaha. The ONLY thing I did not do was EDUBOND. So when I was apealing I used EDUBOND, immigration lawyer in Nigeria and presented all documents I submitted earlier according to the way it was stated in IRISH website.
Finally a decision was made and my visa was APPROVED.
My point is that GOD allowed the denial to take place so that I can apply for EDUBOND and doesn't have to be stranded. The exchange rate when I did the EDUBOND was N395 per 1 euro from black market against N552 per 1euro currently.
It has added extra 1million Naira.
Attimes God allows things happened for a purpose.
Just be optimistic and believe that God can do all things.
SHALOM!!

THANK YOU FOR CLARIFICATION
Dum4christ:
Hi, a child born in Ireland has to live in Ireland for 3 consecutive years or one of the parents has lived in Ireland at least for two years at the time of birth to get citizenship
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Chibabe4Christ: 7:25am On Mar 07, 2020
Wow!!!! When was the recent development. Ireland use to give before like US and Canada. I know some people they gave. So at what year or age do they give citizenship
ExpressBooking:

I don't think Ireland gives citizenship by birth automatically. My last son was born in Ireland since August 2018.

jamauldeen:
Whoops! .. Its been a sweet and wonderful experience here in Dublin this past 6 weeks..

Finally wanna share my my embassy experience and my trip to Dublin, my GNIB and PPS,
processing experience.

I remembered I started following this thread around September when preparing to make and submit my visa application which was a join spouse visa.

I gathered all documents by end of November, 26th 2019 to be precise and headed to the VFS office at Lekki early momo that day.. The process of submission was smooth though except the photocopies I made at 50 naira per page which was so so annoying, so I will advise u guys make all your photocopies before heading to VFS office, those guys there are rogues with no pity at all.

After submission, ehen! Embassy palava come start.

This is the gist! My wife got a job as a Nurse in Ireland, she left for Ireland July 2018 after a week we got married.. Came visiting me in Nigeria in May 2019 for 4 weeks during her annual leave . So she went back to Ireland pregnant with our boy .

So my basis of application was to join her and be with her during her delivery to welcome our son bla bla bla!.

My wife was due for delivery, 2nd week in February and and my planned date of departure in my application was January 1st 2020.

Haaa! Irish Embassy gave me tough time ooooo.. I called and called and called this people all to be giving me gist my application will take between 6 months and 12 months.. I was like Whaaaat! You mean i won't see my son until he is one or what are you guys saying. The annoying part is you can only call them between 10am-12 noon Mon - Thursday and to get them u will dial over 50 times..

Well, all thanks to my wife she was relentless, she approached her Doctor, Midwife and Social worker.. So they all gave reference letters.. I bombarded the Embassy with the letters via Email.. Still no response as at January 15th 2020.

Well i just told my wife this guys ain't forthcoming and not sure we will be together soon. This babe cry ehn! And kept saying let's not accept . The last time she went for her clinic before delivery, her midwife saw how she was all looking not happy and sad, and wrote another letter again oo, this one handwriting sef not even type to send to embassy cos they can't call the embassy to interfere in visa aplication but only write to them..

Na so I forward the letter again to Irish Embassy ooo, and called them again.. But luckily for me there was this pleasant lady that picked my call that day after almost 100 times of dialing before reaching them.. She felt for me and said you know what, I should send another reminder mail instantly, that there is someone in the office presentlythat she will forward the mail to. All this was around January 21st ooo..

I forwarded another reminder mail with faith and hoping to hear from them, I was still informing my wife with what the lady at embassy dey yan and consoling her that will be fine without me there.

It wasn't up to 30 mins, just got a mail back from the embassy that my wife GNIB was to expire 22nd January 2020 and i should send her renewed GNIB card as soon as possible ... Told my wife instantly she said ewooooo! She had forgotten her GNIB was expiring in 2 days and booking appointments for GNIB can be war.. At least you have to start checking GNIB site 2 months before your residence permit expires to book for renewal..

To be continued later..... Baby crying

Very good bro.... that's just the basic truth.. you are on point. Exactly what I suggested

quote author=abuhusna1 post=85100697]
If you didn't apply then you have a good case but you can't do it yourself get an immigration lawyer help you out the will overturn then ban and probably get ve you your visa moreso the lawyer needs to talk to UK immigration to know why they put in another refusal in your file when you applied only once please don't give up [/quote]
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Chibabe4Christ: 12:16am On Dec 22, 2019
[That's a good one but use an Irish based immigration lawyer when appealing. It will definitely cost you some cash but you will come out rejoicing. I think it's better you spend cash and win your case than being banned. My opinion anyway.
A friend of mine used a Canadian immigration lawyer to appeal for an application similar to yours but in Canada.. Her application was reviewed the second time and visa was issued.

quote author=ICaSNg post=85037044]

You need facts to fight this, 1st thing to do is

Defer your admission offer ,

request for your Visa application record / history from ukvi (Google ukvi compliant)

Then send an appeal to the Irish embassy

Sorry you have to go through this.

This is pathetic.. .. so sorry my brother!
I will suggest you use an immigration lawyer from Ireland to file your case.. they will give more attention than when you write to them. am sure it will come out positive.
