Just know that if you get married and your wife joins -if both of you get granted visa, she’ll forever be a dependent in the course of your study unless u change your immigration status to file for her. Also, TA stipend covers only you… so if you dont have additional funding, you might get rejected. US dey tough for 1 breadwinner type of family…u fit be breadwinner.. then ur wife go be chinchin winner .. both of you can sandwich with geisha and egg sauce. Good luck

You are right besides their situation does not qualify for EA

You dont need an agent for anything. He/she won't do anything special because he will still do the normal thing all visa applicants do which is searching for dates...apply for EA and hope it gets approved. If it does get approved u need to be checking daily for earlier dates...mind you, you are restricted to check ur portal 4 times a day.

Find another school or look for someone in Nigeria to use it is easy to get tax details from 9jia tax office.

For the fees check the website and ask CBN for exchange rate.
As for funding ask your department if they have.

It is a great school from my little research. It also allows you to apply to up to 3 different programme (PhD and Masters degree with a single application fee). Their research facilities is top notch though dependent on the discipline the person is pursuing

Well it might not be that your profile is weak, I just noticed that small man know man dey this thing.
There are a lot of Asians in research naturally they just give it to their people.

I am taking from experience, there are a lot of open Labs in my school but they refused to give to applicants who are not introduced by someone they know.

Bro, you're right. My profile is very very weak. I need to up my game now. I will try to gather all the other parts of my application, which are GRE, Even if is one publication, stronger SOP, if I have the funds I evaluate my transcript, then apply strategic; strategic I mean is, applying to schools in a region not to known, and also making sure I run away from those hat waive Application fee.

There is no late in this game just follow the flow till you get what you want.

I don seek for app waiver tire for these pending 3 universities. Only Purdue sent mail for me to register for graduate fair which will hold in March (already late to me. I would prefer to pay for them consider me for admission and funding under fast track than attend the event and lose out completely.

IOWA State showed me shege last Fall application despite scaling the initial review, and being told they will consider my application for next academic semester since there is no slot to admit me. Few weeks after fall semester started, they sent love letter ).

If you don't mind, can you drop the names of schools you applied to. Might have one or two of them I could apply to, and probably get app fee waiver like you.

Small tip
If you know very well in your heart that your funds will not be easy in coming from home please target Spring semester. So that you can make up during summer semester when the money comes from "home".

What have you been up to.
Put a lot of passion in your voice while talking.
You ask them which part of the city is better and cheaper to stay at as a student.

I've been denied again! This is my second denial, one from Colorado State University, and the second one this early morning from the University of Utah. All Ph.D. programs, bioscience.

I lost interest in everything now. I am about to lose hope regarding the remaining applications. It's like my dream is about to be shattered,! I don't have masters, no GRE, no publication, no presentation.

Please room, what do I do? I just applied to only one school for masters, mean while the rest are Ph.D.
