Why surfing nairaland, i saw a diary of lady that ran away from her matrimonial home because of the toxicity. She mentioned that people told her to go back to her home and endure but she cant. If you are that lady, pls dont..

Firstly, if you were happy as a single, never sacrifice your happiness for marriage. Never!!!!! It is better to be single & happy than brooding in sorrow while married. Poeple will definitely say "marriage is sacrifice, marriage is compromising" and so on but those talks are damned if it is a toxic marriage. Marriage is sacrifice doesnt mean you should turn yourself to a sacrificial goat on the altar of marriage. Dont be surprised that people who told you to endure will definitely curse you if you finally die.

Secondly, your kids will hate either of you and if care is not taken, it will affect his/her marriage...The legacy of a good family is the result they produce and the result are the children. You will be celebrated as a wonderful father/mother if your kids turned out to be important persons in the future, if otherwise, you will be damned even after your death. Not only outsider will curse your grave, even your kids will do the same.

Thirdly, you may end up in the grave.... The grave may be your last place of resort if you ever go back... You have heard, read, seen and witness the end of persevering violence in marriage, it is always brutal.
