Politics / Re: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by chidichris(m): 10:20pm On Apr 27, 2010
@Chidichris,

Well u dont get my point.

I told you I am going to be extremely selfish here, and I urge everyone to do that about thier state. We must all hold people responsible for our individual state government accountable, and as far as I am concerned Ibori's actions directly impacted on the people of my state, and he must be held to account.

Charity they say begins at home.

If Edo state people feel that Tony Anenieh has done bad, they have the right to go after him.

But my bigger question to you, is that, can you claim Ibori is innocent? now if you have no proof that he is and I seriously doubt you do, what does it matter if the fight against corruption starts at his door step. It is always going to have to start at someones doorstep. The man is a plain Thief and he should face the consequences of his actions

@monekeyleg,
is not about what u feel or what u want, rather it is about the constitution of nigeria.
there is no way the federal govt of nigeria will love delta state more than nigeria itself.
delta ppl shld go after ibori while nigerians go after federal criminals.
we are bored with federal troops going to delta to search for ibori while federal criminals are here and there.
jonathan is less than a man. he is a push over. he acts according to instructions.

what about the ibori case?

well, i have decided to answer whatsoever name u will call me for believing this story.
Politics / Re: JTF, police storm Delta creeks - DOOM FOR IBORI by chidichris(m): 12:56pm On Apr 27, 2010
Me Sef, we are tired of people like you weeping, it doesn't do any good - I am not against the anti corruption drive, all I am saying is that the rule of law should prevail.

Ibori will get his day in court but will you people be satisfied if justice does not match your prescribed direction?

Let me put it this way, EFCC need to prosecute a lot more people, at this rate we will still be trying cases from this era in 90 years time.

Are you satisfied with the performance of EFCC - (Alams, Balogun, Igbinedion, George) in 6 whole years? If you are it is you who should be ashamed.

Have you read about the allegations against the EFCC boss, why isn't ICPC investigating these?

What has happened to Halliburton or the Independent Power Probe - swept under the carpet as usual, without so much as a whimper from praise singers like you.

Next time you step to a debate come with cogent reasoning instead of your weepy emotional claptrap.

@SapeleGuy,
what u did above is called critical analyses designed to move a country forward with relevant references.
nigeria has over 140 million iboris and to catch one is taken the attention of even the president of our country then what happens to the rest of the iboris?
if we waste all these resources looking for one ibori it means we don't have plans to move forward.
like i said, if ibori decides to run away from nigeria today, he did not do that so quick because we all know how long it took ribadu and el rufai to run away after their office.
we shld be more worried over federal contracts that run into trillions, awarded by the obasanjo regime, paid for and not executed till date yet no one even a half ibori is standing trial. what a shame?
a country or a regime that claimed to be fighting corruption just wake up one morning and told the whole country that a siezed ship was missing and till today, that ship is still missing. we are talking about ship not okada. sometimes i feel very very asahamed seeing myself as a nigerian.
till today, tony annenih has refused to refund billions given to him for the reconstruction of ibadan-benin expressways and ribadu was there as the corruption czar.
i wish ibori's disappearance was a kind of preparation for the war ahead. let ibori get enough weapon and start this long over due war against the one man leadership of obasanjo.
Politics / Re: Power Project Probe: How Obasanjo, Imoke, Others Wasted N2.5tr ! by chidichris(m): 12:20pm On Apr 27, 2010
For obasanjo to die and be buried peacefully without paying the price of his iniquities and crimes against humanity will a monumental let down for even nigerians yet unborn.

How could a silver back like that have dribbled and blindfolded millions of nigerians like that for so long?
@redsun,
u are a very funny person. u sound as if u are justing visiting nigeria for the first time.
the most unfortunate thing is that all these happened under the nose of our so-called corruption czar - ribadu.
need i remind u that obasanjo is still the chief decission maker of this godfosaken country?
obasanjo even told pdp excos to always go and visit bode george in the prison.
it is very painful that many nairalanders will have absolutely nothing to say on this as long as it has nothing to do with orji uzor kalu and ibori.
like other issues, this may be the end of the matter.
what a stupid place called nigeria. very shameful that even with our multi-minerals, we still lack the essential things of life and apes will tell me somebody is fighting corruption.
Politics / Re: Interpol To Be Used To Track Ibori! by chidichris(m): 8:52am On Apr 27, 2010
yes, this is a very good development.
the same interpol that helped us arrest ribadu and el rufai will help us now arrest ibori.
it is obvious these politicians have taken away our senses.
the mother of orji uzor kalu was once declared wanted and what happened till date? atiku was was convicted by ribadu and where did he serve?
dariaye was engaged efcc on a fight and gave them the beating of their lives and nothing happened.
like i said, if ibori falls for their noise, he just want to do so.
they pdp led war on corruption is just a very big joke.
ibori shld stand his ground, fight them, kill them if possible and they will let him be. is just a matter of what u can give them in return.
Politics / Re: White People Crime Against Humanity. by chidichris(m): 8:40am On Apr 27, 2010
@poster,
how does ur thread topic match with the content?
if this is the crime of the white people, it means all the whites are saints.
can u ever compare that with what is happening even in our own country nigeria where human lives are less valued than that of a fowl.
don't u see headless bodies littered here and there in nigeria.
cases of ritual killings on daily basis.
pls get busy with something important and stop ur white madness.

iwuanyawu and ogbulafor are birds of a feather.
the prince is of no relevance to the igbo race so whatsoever happens to him will not be our problem.
he is out to die for his master and now he will know that the devil does not give anything free of charge.

I don't care and if i am given the opportunity to pray that prayer again, i won't hesitate to because i don't support any politicians, i only appreciate and admirers whatever they are able to do for the masses, yes 90% of politicians are wicked and are near criminals, i still won't change my stand about them because it hurts me to see us lavish in basic lack when few are taking the rest for a ride.

THE MONEY IBORI STOLE IS AMONG THE TOP 20 OF CRIMINALS IN NIGERIA POLITICS.

@honeric01,
if u have been following my posts on nairaland, i always rejoice over the death of every politician in nigeria. all i am saying is this, let there be a law that is functional and effective. let that law work for each an everyone of them.
the idea of 36 states, 36 laws have never, is never and will never help nigeria.
obasanjo and ribadu probed abacha's family and recovered some funds, yes, but where is the funds? what about the other presidents? at the end of the day, how did that solve the problems of looting among our politicians? if u will say the truth, it rather increased the looting party as non of all the politicians under obasanjo is poor as we write now.
if it is taking all these long to look for ibori, if every nigerian must get involved in the arrest of ibori, calculate how many iboris we have in nigeria and multiply it with this lenght of time and u will agree with me that corruption will take eternity to leave nigeria.
it is important we try to seperate the war for loyality from the war against corruption.
those who are fighting this war on corruption are even on the list of corrupt politicians directly or indirectly.
the diplomatic removal of yar adua and skillful presentation of jonathan has officially bring back the reign of obasanjo.
the dictector is back.
if there is any war niger delta indigens shld be fighting now, it shld be the war of liberation especially now our person is there but what do we have here, a house that is didvided against itself. a man who is out to be used against his ppl.
this war against ibori will at the end of the day, be all we benefit from the time jonathan serve as the acting president of nigeria.
the wait by easterners will continue till God knows when.
Politics / Re: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by chidichris(m): 8:25pm On Apr 26, 2010
When someone uses the phrase, richest state in Nigeria, I tend to wonder how such person arrived at such ridiculous conclusion. Chief Ibori is a saint compared to the former Nigeria military heads of state from the northern and western regions of Nigeria. Why have EFCC failed to spell warrant or attach such word to their names?
@dede1,
that is just my point.

@Chidichris,

Please if you read through my reply, I never for one called you any names, so if you choose to call yourself, then that is your own look out.

I still dont understand what your point is. Is it that Ibori did not steal money from Delta state? and why should the fight against corruption not start from him? I just dont get it, the fight must start somewhere, and thank God the fight has come to his doorstep, he can run but the truth is that he can never hide.

And what is this obsession with Delta state being the richest state, Delta state was and is still receiving the Federal allocation as well as the 13% oil derivation, please work out per capita if that make us one of the richest states in the country.
@moneykeyleg,
if till now, u still don't get my points, then let me name them one by one with hope u will understand them now
1. alphabethically, on the map, agewise, sizewise, eastern, western, northern and southern, delta is no where the first or the last hence i still need to know why the fight must start here.
2. delta is not the only state in the niger delta and oil revenue from federal allocations go to other states so why delta
3. in the history the war on corruption, ibori is not the first to refuse inv itation or resist arrest from efcc such names as orji uzor kalu, deriaye, iyabo obasanjo, ribadu, atiku, el rufai are few of the long lists of offenders so why is ib ori's case so different?
4. elections are arround the corner and ibori could be a stumbling block in the federal criminal arrangements to have their loyalists on seat as was the case of atiku whose matter died immediately after the elections in 2007
5. is delta state more important to nigeria and nigerians more than nigeria itself? if the answer is no, why are all contracts awarded by obasanjo govt, paid for and not executed till date are not recieving any attention from efcc?
6. if u are saying ibori did not do anything during his years as gov of delta state, tell me what obasanjo did in 8 yrs as the president of nigeria with all the funds we have as a country.
7. how many states govs are facing this same problems like ibori among the 36 state govs and more during his time?
8. do u think the idea of harrassing only the abacha family among other past presidents of nigeria was the best approach?
9. how do u differentiate the witch-hunt that ibori is mentioning now and the one ribadu mentioned when he was invited?
10. what does the name tony annenih represent to u? a saint or a criminal?

i hope with these few points of mine, u have been convienced and possibly confussed on why all these noise about ibori does not worth it.
Politics / Re: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by chidichris(m): 4:45pm On Apr 26, 2010
@ChidiChris,

Are you from Delta state?

People like you are the reason why we have not got anywhere with solving issues in Nigeria. People like you have given another meaning to being bad. "Yes I am bad, but I am not the worst of the lot, after all others are stealing so why me." This is your mentality. The fight against corruption must start from somewhere, too bad it has to start from Ibori.

@moneykeyleg,
i don't care what names u will call me or u have already called me as i will take that to be a product of ignorance.
it is not just starting with ibori for ur information. this selective war on corruption has been there at least for the past 10 yrs or more.
we were all dancing and jubiliating when alams was arrested and destroyed but no one cared what happened afterwards.
what do u expect putting in a round peg in a square hole? we have been looking up to the nigerian police that is more than corrupt to solve our security problems and we all know how far they have gone in doing same.
listen, this so-called fight against corruption was on the hype throughout obasanjo's regime but the most unfortunate thing is that the same regime recorded the highest level of corruption and looting in the history of nigeria.
when u just catch one ibori and leave 149 million other iboris out there, does it make sense?
who is fighting this war on corruption? is it possible for corruption to fight against corruption? two days ago, obasanjo called on pdp executive to always visit bode george in jail. who is foolling who? jailed criminal having official visitors. what a shame?
why dying to arrest ibori when achike udenwa who ruled imo state the same time ibori was ruling delta has served as a minister since then?
i will tell u this, kill ibori today and nothing positive will happen in nigeria.
are we all going mad the same time or what? our refinaries are not functioning even with billions spent, no electricity not minding how much contracts awarded by obasanjo, security is no good news, our roads are not in any good shape yet someone is telling u about fighting a war on corruption.
any war on corruption that will stand, must start right from aso rock.
if this thrash is what u or anyone call war on corruption, then this war is less than a movies fight.
Politics / Re: JTF, police storm Delta creeks - DOOM FOR IBORI by chidichris(m): 11:29am On Apr 26, 2010
run to where? were they hiding? people knew where these set of people went to, but who can pinpoint where thief ibori ran to?

your last statement should have been like this :

Ibori should loot and run so that he will live to loot another day, so perfect!. (May God punish all those who conspire either by direct support or indirect support for looters and murderers against the masses of this country. AMEN!!!

@honeric01,
may God forgive u because u do not know the implication of the prayer u have just said. who among our politicians is clean? if u support ribadu, el rufai, obasanjo or even any politician in nigeria, ur prayer will work perfectly in ur situation.
i am not here to support anyone but all am saying is, if the law of this country is one, let it be used in all circustances.
obasanjo and co have remained untouchable while telling uis ibori this, ibori that.
who is responsible for all the funds spent on our refinaries, electricity supply, security and road reconstructions in the last ten years?
if the criminal gangs in nigeria are to be arranged according to their ranks, i will bet with my life that ibori can never be anywhere close to no 20.

for working for the betterment of this country at the detriment of a few, fashola is very guilty.
for being outstanding among other govs, fashola is very guilty.
my only concern is that kobojunkie and co have refused to tell us what has been happeing to lagos funds all these while we have not been seeing changes in lagos state.

I agree wit all u said about campbell,sylvester and gallas . Wenger bidded 4 chamakh b4 it was revealed that his contract was 1yr left and though his asking price was 10m. Wenger offered double bids 4 chamakh but d bordeaux declined d fee and this is to show dat wenger seriously bidded 4 him and nt just dat he waited to acquire him on a free transfer. I dont rily tink he waited 4 chamakh's contract to end

@sean lewis,
u and i know that wenger is getting chamakh for free today because no other big teams were interested.
wenger bidded 10 million while bordeaux said 15 million. he said to them, take 10 million or i will get him free next season. what if chelsea, liverpool or man u were interested? at the end of the day, u will hear wenger saying, i nearly signed him.
u dropped campbell because of old age and after like four seasons, u still go back to him. does that not sound very funny?
we are all convienced that his gambles are not fetching him anything so it all depends on him to make a reverse or die in his pride next season.

aboki no send u and efcc as they believe so much on dagger justice.
even during waec exams, flying invigilators do not go to north.
the law on fuel buyers who use gallons is not valid in the north because petrol is sold everywhere along the road in the north.
in fact, there are about two different laws in nigeria so the laws are not always the same.
most times, the govt will not want anything that can force the abokis to start their killings in the name of riot.
what is happening to ibori for example cannot happen to a northerner because his ppl will kill, die and destroy to protect him .

@EzeUche,

This is not a case of sitting back and watching the ND troubles. I am an Igbo man that grew up in the ND region, Ibori's actions affects us all.

The impunity with which this man ran his affairs cannot be imagined. I think a lot of people commenting, in my opinion are commenting from far.

At some point Delta state was the richest state in the country. Ibori did absolutely nothing with all the money that was given to him, the figure can not be imagined. He weilded unbelievable power. Without going into details, we thought that after 8yrs of the worst rule you can imagine, Deltans would have an opportunity to get rid of him, but that wasnt the case. Ask anyone who knows about the PDP primaries in Delta state, there was such infighting within the party. No selection process was allowed to take place. Ibori forced everyone to accept his younger brother Uduaghan, knowing all the evil he had commited, and having in place to cover up his tracks.

I once heard that even Uduaghan was astonished and the scale of destruction his brother had commited. He had burnt countless bridges, destroyed and created disunity between communities, and lets not forget that it was during Iboris reign that the ND youths started all the troubles. And not to metion the bigger picture of oil bunkering in the region. He has a lot to answer for, for which corruption is just a small part

@moneykeyleg,
pls take a little time to go through what u wrote above and tell me that u just wrote like a market woman. delta once the richest state in nigeria? funny. what do u know about rivers and lagos states?
with all the funds available to obasanjo in his eight years, what did he do to change the country and who is chassing him arround?
in 8 yrs, what did tinubu and odili do in lagos and rivers respectively and why are they not on the run or did you vote to get the next govs in those states?
if u said u are igbo, from which state? tell us what ur state gov did with all the funds made available to him in 8 yrs?
let us not fool ourselves. ibori is no where different from obasanjo and the other 35 states govs.
whatsoever crime ibori committed, the others did but under the loyality of obasanjo hence u have been made to understand that they are clean.

Politics / Re: SSS Joins Efcc, Police In Manhunt For Ibori by chidichris(m): 7:48am On Apr 23, 2010
The mother of all fight between Ijaw and Urhobo is brewing. Urhobo youths have already threatened to deal with Clark who is the insigator of Ibori's current trail. Urhobo people should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for supporting a bonafide thief such as Ibori. Me I dey sidon look, una bai bai

@mekusxxx,
to u and obasanjo, ibori is a thief while to his ppl, he is an outstanding philantropist.
let every thief in nigeria be traced and chased like ibori.
the time, energy and other resources the federal govt is wasting onm ibori can fetch nigeria something positive.
why did the federal govt not make such noise when there was a warrant of arrest on ribadu who had a federal case to answer?
if goodluck jonathan has nothing to offer, let him sit quietly and enjoy the loot for which he is brought to board.
if ibori and his ppl can, let them introduce more suphisticated arminutions into this war.
this stupid pdp govt will always look for reasons to divert our attention. anambra election brought the whole country to a standstill because pdp was desperate to have that stupid soludo on baord now is ibori.
Politics / Re: Devil Is Tempting Us In Pdp - Ogbulafor by chidichris(m): 7:39am On Apr 23, 2010
is this embecile high on something? how can devil tempt the devil?
pdp is having partnership businesses with the devil and as such can only tempt nigerians so there is no way the devil can turn back to tempt pdp.
i pray they send u to jail and poison u to death.
