PoliticsRe: Ibori's Chase, Attracts Sympathy To Him - Comments From Punch N/papers by chidichris(m): 3:25pm On Apr 18, 2010
maybe ppl are begining to open their eyes now. i knew it from the unset.
there was no real war on corruption under obasanjo and ribadu.
the jonathan of a man is where he is today because he sold out alams like judas did to Jesus.
he became too loyal to obasanjo and gained the trust that yielded him the present position he is occupying today.
in which country of the world can a ribadu get direct instructions from obasanjo to probe or and not probe a person over corruption charges?
the inccidents that followed the exit of ribadu from office made us understand that efcc was never an institution rather it was a one man show.
how can nigerians believe obasanjo and ribadu when they made us to believe that abacha was the only corrupt past president nigeria ever had?
how are we to believe those who legalised looting among their loyalists?
i have said it here times without numbers, Ibori shld stand his ground and fight this war with every possible weapon. he must make sure that at least 100 ppl go down before him. he must not let himself to be picked and treat like a child as was the case of alams.
if obasanjo,goodluck and co are ready to fight corruption, let them make it a general thing and not a selective business.
on the other hand, the rumour of ribadu coming back to nigeria will be because of the nearness of the elections because he will act very well as a distractive factor as we saw in the last election where oposition had their bitter battles in passing the screening of ribadu.
i am well convienced that ribadu will not have an easy run this time arround.

they have their powers in the inec chairman hence no other person(s) counts.

PoliticsRe: Can Nigerians Pay Their Electricity Bill by chidichris(m): 3:40pm On Apr 17, 2010
@poster,
u have nothing to discuss here.
if all the countries of the world that are enjoying electricity are paying, then nigerians will pay too but they are not paying and they are still enjoying electricity, then why don't we enjoy like them too.
i think the only time u will be useful on this electricity issue will be when we get the light and maybe we will need ur advise on how best to bypass the electricity bills.
PoliticsRe: Would You Vote Ibb If Publicly Appolosizes For His 'sins' by chidichris(m): 3:33pm On Apr 17, 2010
all nigerian politicians have sinned and come short of our trusts.
ibb was corrupt but only as a millitary president. his days as a millitary president are still better than obj days as a civilian president.
if bola ige will die under our nose without trace, if two communities were deleted without hesitations, if uncountable riots cld claim millions of lives between 1999 till date, if our elections became a do or die affairs, if selections became more re;levant than elections, if contracts were awarded and paid for without execution and no one till date is standing trial in thoes contracts, if criminals like the late adedibu and chris uba were officially recognised, if the so called corrupt IBB was allowed to be free under obasanjo, if abacha was claimed to be the only corrupt past president of nigeria, if running away from justice as we saw in the case of el rufai and ribadu, if constitution of the country becomes irrelevant in the case of a sitting president, if ottah farm becomes more powerfull than aso rock, if our security means nothing to the ppl in power, if looting has been legalised among obj loyalists like tony annenih, odili, achike undenwa etc, if the only official criminals in nigeria today are orji uzor kalu and ibori, if nigeria has turned out to be a one man show, THEN IBB BECOMES A SAINT TO ME AND MY VOTE THAT IF I WILL VOTE CAN ONLY BE FOR IBB.
by the way, is ibb not far much better than all the obasanjo infected politicians we have seen in the so-called PDP?
if nigeria continues this way, that is under obasanjo led pdp, in 100 years, nothing will happen on the positive side.
the level of corruption that we have seen since 1999 has never been witnessed in nigeria. nigeria has was able to raise female political criminals like mrs etteh and iyabo obasanjo. bombs are now part of our system. terrorism is becoming a tag on us. our educational system has lost its values both home and abroad. the richest men in nigeria today are politicians and that is why ppl are killed and are being killed just to become part of the looting cabals.
our politicians have destroyed the whole country. they have turned the police who are supposed to be our protectors to be the main threats to our lives.
these politicians have turned the police to their killing agents and agents of harrassments.
at least under ibb, we all agreed that the best election was conducted meaning he gave the then electoring conductors the free hands to do ntheir work.
what do we have under obasanjo, MY FRIEND, U WILL NOT RULE. we have a system where the last candidates become winners.
i won't stop if i want to say things that i have against the obasanjo led corrupt revelution but the bottom line is that the time for change is now.
I AM WELL CONVIENCED THAT EVEN THE DEVIL HIMSELF WILL DO BETTER THAT WHAT OBASANJO AND HIS GROUP ARE DOING TO NIGERIA.
PoliticsRe: $12bn Oil Windfall : Come Up With Proofs, Ibb Dares Critics by chidichris(m): 3:07pm On Apr 17, 2010
I think it tells me that even IBB does not believe in his own records if instead of telling us what he did to change Nigeria when he led for 8years, he is challenging the country to prove that he is a thief.
Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@mikeansy,
shocking u said?
it is a reversed version of obasanjo regime so let ibb go ahead.
those who believe in ribadu and obasanjo shld learn to believe IBB too.
this oil windfall of a crime happened sometime before 1993 and ribadu came between 1999 and 2007 with a lot of noise on his war on corruption. we saw him recovered a lot of funds from the abachas who we were told were corrupt. if he did not do anything against IBB, it is either because he did not find him guilty or because ribadu and obasanjo were corrupt as well.
we can only call ibb corrupt if obasanjo and ribadu told us that because they are the most reliable ppl in nigeria.
we can only move this country forward when all men recieve the same treatment from our laws and constitution.
for not probing the IBB regime, obasanjo and ribadu after all the noise must tell nigerians what was the case otherwise, IBB to me has the same constitutional rights as each and everyone of us who have not been found guilty by any law court.
in my place, it is believed that those who hide criminals are criminals. if obj and ribadu decided to hide ibb, it means they are both the same with him.

am nt suprised , this is the second tym he is saying dat he wnt play for togo, although under diff circumstances,

1.Clearly he has shown he is nt a leader,

2.Is he meant to be angry @ togo or @ CAF and angola for nt providing proper security for them

3.Shouldnt he as a captain try to pressurize CAF through all possible means

finally this boy just doesnt ve character,
@femikay149,
is this war supposed to be adebayor's individual war i mean u saying he shld put preasure on caf?
nigeria withdrew from nation's cup in 1996 under abacha and by his instructions citing security as the reason.
adebayor and the whole football team are under the president.
times like this, other national teams are supposed to come up with the preasure. intimidating caf that all of them will withdraw from their games if the ban is not lifted.
the idea of letting caf go away with every decission is bad. at the end of the day, it cld be anyone. drogba was not crowned african player of the year in 2008 because he did not leave his team's preparation for the award. such decissions are crazy and caf always get away with them because no one cares. how on earth can u ban someone u attacked, held hostage and killed? this is mad.

@chidichris I value human life as much as you, that doesn't mean that the world should come to a stop when such things happen. From your logic, the other nations/players that continued with the competition do not value human life?
As pertaining to the ban, I said that I do not support it, read my posts again.
@zoraro,
we all witnessed the situation a couple of months ago. after the attck, the players decided to play for their dead ones but the president of the country said no to that and even sent a private jet to bring back the whole team.
the security of the players and the entire staff was supposed to the responsibility of the angolan govt and caf hence the whole world and togo were expecting to hear from these organizers. the rest here are stories.
adebayor at his age will be fooling himself if he goes on a 4 yr ban which means absence from two nations cup. add that to what he has played and u will see that it is of no use.
what am saying here is that other teams shld not have kept quiet to this injustice because it cld be anyone. how will nigeria and nigerians react to such a situation if our team was in the picture.
do not forget that 99.99% of these players are the hope of their various families and as such shld not engage in such expensive jokes.

@chidichris why don't you engage in constructive arguments instead of attacking people. I guess you've never heard of the Munich massacre which happened during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, this is not the first time something like this is happening in the world.
@zoraro,
what happened during the massacre in germany and where the massacared teams forced to participate in the game and were they banned after the game for being massacred?
how on earth can ur type be constructive in arguements.
we are talking about human lives here. in ur wisdom, will u be able to participate in a game if ur family member dies in the preparation of the game. can u be part of the game when ur team mates are in the mortuary? do blood mean anything to u?
what if adebayor died in the process? what was the guarrantte that they were not going to be attacked again?
do u know that those killed in the process are ppl's sons, fathers, husbands etc, what if ur loved one was involved.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: How Man Utd Was Destroyed by chidichris(m): 3:31pm On Apr 14, 2010
Looking at Man Utd today, one would not be far off the mark to say that Man Utd is in surgery (in a mission to a slow death). the class of 2008/09 has been the best. But greed and a lack of vision has lead to the selling of key players. Lets look at this 433 scenario. Rooney, Ronaldo Tevez, attack, Giggs,Fletcher,Valencia, midfield, Evra, Ferdinald,Vidic, Evans, defence. Van der sa, goal. It will be very difficult for teams in the EPL to beat this combination of players. Where is Man Utd today? In E.R
@poster,
u lack information.
man u did not sale ronaldo out of greed and lack of vission as u claim. the sale of ronaldo was necessary because of high level of debt. on the issue of tevez, he was only on loan in man u. making his stay a permanent one there with the price tag on him was difficult based on the same reason of finance.
if they cld do without these two key players and have come this far, it is a credit to the coach and the players.
pls when next u want to post, post of topics u have information on.

i am happy that all the problems of nigeria have finally been solved.
with ibori arrested, everyother thief in nigeria will now become a saint. in fact there will be no need to further investigate the harliburton bribery scandal.

the day yar adua became the president of nigeria, that day he hand over himself to the federal republic of nigeria as decissions regarding his life no longer belongs to the family.
it is the responsibility of nigeria to say how and where the president will be treated and not the family dictecting for the country knowing too well that the expenses will be on nigeria.
in other places, he that pays the piper dictects the tone but here, he that sat in ottah farm dictects the tone.

diplomatic which is more of political is accepted by me but intelligent, well still in doubt.
going by ur judgement, do u know of any nigerian that is not intelligent especially among these criminal minded politicians?
believe it, to be a professor, u need to be more than very intelligent so iwu on his own is more than intelligent.
the best way to go about this QUESTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE of his will be the fulfilment of promises and the anticpated changes.
all these guys are exceptional in their entertainment abilities. if u have a one on one encounter with ibb, after a few minutes discussion with him, u can't help but start clapping in appreciation of his intelligence.

pls can u explain to me y ribadu was removed? do u knw we hv 32 pending court cases of governors including ibori n igbinedion's
@nethacker,
with due respect, i really do not see u as being of age to discuss such a critical political issue. u sound so biased and uninformed and believe me, i don't mean insult or disrespect but i know u will take this for all that though it doesn't matter.
yar adua came with the idea of rule of law knowing too well that was exactly what democracy was all about that obasanjo's regime lacked so much.
are u away that the act of ribadu going on air to call his then victims criminals and thieves was against the constitution of nigeria which said that all accused person remain innocent until proven guilty but instead of working with that, ribadu made all his victims guilty until they proved otherwise.
on the issue of 32 pending court case against govs, did that include yar adua who was a gov? did that include goodluck jonathan who was a gov? did that include my state gov achike udenwa who yar adua made a minister?
by the way, was efcc supposed to be the second name of ribadu? efcc was supposed to be an institution and not ribadu? even if u have 1 million cases, ur successor who meets case files and hand over notes surely will continue from wherever u stopped.
but look at what he have here, a ribadu who left without handover notes and case files in the office. an el rufai whose private office held most of the vital documents of govt.
let the war be for all and not ibori and kalu.
the idea of ibori writing to any govt agency to me is nonsense. let him use whatever he had gathered to continue his fights.
do u know that kalu and ibori are still free because they are strong people otherwise the beasts must have leveled them by now.
PoliticsRe: Kalu Writes Jonathan, Seeks End To Corruption Trial by chidichris(m): 10:57am On Apr 14, 2010
to the best of my knowledge,it's witch-hunting. we all knw dat he declared his assets b4 assuming office how come that suddenly became an issue. If u can remember,y did the FG instruct Nigerian embassies abroad not to renew his passport. I knew it was all a setup, with time the whole story will unfold
@nethacker,
u are a very funny person. witch hunting u said? alams said the same when he was caught and everyother criminal in nigeria will say he is been witch hunted including ur ribadu.
we were all told that kalu will run out of the country as soon as his immunity expired but it turned out to be ribadu who ran.
if all politicians politicians ran away like ribadu did, who will he arrest because they will stay away till their own person gets into power.
obasanjo is the director of all these shows of shame. he has installed jonathan and has given instrustions on what to do.
at the end of the day, the elections are arround the corner and the dog will soon be here to chase opositions arround and distract them by all means as he did to atiku and other opositions obasanjo had then.
let us not be fooled by all these rootless and baseless arguements here and there.
apart from not declaring his assests, this is this problem of what happened to all recovered loots of abacha and other politicians in the country.
the act of attacking only the abacha family among all the past presidents of the country shld have been the truning points in our belief of his mission. does that make the other past presidents clean and why only abacha - selected justice.
what happened after indicting atiku - selected justice
why was alams the escape goat among the govs - selected justice?
why did atiku's case took few days to be concluded why iyabo obasanjo case took till now to investigate - selected justice.
he is the hunter's dog and believe u me, obasanjo is the hunter and ribadu is his hunter.
have for one day asked urself, how did ribadu's effort help nigeria? do u know that 1999 to 2007 has the highest level of political looting in the history of nigeria.
we all come from different places. how rich was ur local govt chairman? how rich was ur house of assembly members and how rich was ur gov under obasanjo and how did these wars on corruption affect them?
i am from imo state, achike udenwa was our gov and was later made minister under yar adua. he is not facing ribadu because he was the first gov to sign third term agenda for obasanjo. he is stinkingly rich.
1 million ribadus cannot do a thing to orji uzor kalu and i am in full support of both kalu and ibori using any form of violence to bring ribadu down.
if i were in  their shoes, i will do whatever is within my reach not minding the consequences.
if ribadu was fighting corruption, why did he not know that bode george was a high class criminal? how come tonny annenih remained untouchable? is kalu and ibori responsible for all the federal contracts awarded by obasanjo paid and never executed and how many ppl are standing trial in respect to these federal contracts? how come nigerians are so stupid that we leave our federal problems for state matters? are we supposed to be more interested in delta state and abia state than nigeria?
i so much believe in these two guys(ibori and kalu) to deliever since they cld stand their grounds in front of obasanjo and nothing happened.
who said these former govs are not ready for the selected wars? they are all ready and i don't see the possibility of any of them becoming another alamesysa.

as uninformed and ignorant as you are, u still assume the position of a teacher here. this is the case with nigeria and nigerians and we all are heading to a crash because those who are in charge of us are far from the realities of life.

PoliticsRe: Kalu Writes Jonathan, Seeks End To Corruption Trial by chidichris(m): 7:34am On Apr 14, 2010
this another stupid story. kalu writing to jonathan and trembling because ribadu is coming.
the same ribadu combined with the endless powers of obasanjo was there when kalu ruled abia state for 8 solid years.
the story was as soon as kalu hand over, he will either run away or be arrested. kalu was the first gov to hand over among the other govs and has remained in nigeria since then.
kalu defiled all obj's madness and ribadu ranting to remain in nigeria all these while.
who said ribadu will have half the powers he enjoyed during the obj's regime again in nigeria?
even with all the powers obj gave to ribadu, he cld do nothing to kalu how much more now all of us know that ribadu is as guilty as all these govs.
SportsRe: Emmanuel Adebayor Retires From Togo International Duty by chidichris(m): 7:06am On Apr 14, 2010
Although I do not support CAF's ban, I understand why they did it. Togo broke rules and were given the stipulated punishment. All countries where told to fly into Angola but Togo decided to go by road (maybe to save cost) although they knew that part of Angola was not safe. Then decided to pull out of the tournament (understandable though), this could have coursed the cancellation of the entire tournament. They pulled out and were given the stipulated punishment as I said.
As for arresting the culprits, I hope you are not suggesting the resumption of the just ended civil war in that country. Even before this unfortunate incident many people (especially Europeans) were already making noise about the high level of crime in SA. They will always make such noise when the WC is not staged in Europe (crime rate too high, temperatures too high, cost of living too high etc.) left to them the WC will only be hosted in Europe.
@zoraro,
who is feeding u with all these craps? when once u decide to host a tournament, u must be ready to provide security to each and every visitor of urs within the boarders of ur country.
if they were warned not to take the roads, why did angola security accompany them? if angola knew it has security problem, why did they opt to host the tournament? why is everything turned upside down here in africa?
if anyone is hurt in any part of angola while the tournament was on, caf and the angola local organising committee must explain that to the whole world.
what is the essence of host an international event of sports if not to bring the whole country to the knowledge of the world? such events showcase the country's industries and investments opportunities as well as other potentials of the hosting nation. if this is true, how can u do this while ppl hide in restricted places?
the angola experience was not a good one to fans and players as well as the whole sporting world.
caf's decission was this terrible that abedi pele who was a member of caf rfejected it openly on tv.

if togo govt can do it, it will be in the interest of football if the country as a whole will boycot all caf organised matches until propare attention is paid to the attack on the country's reps in angola that killed 3 of their reps.
where else in the world can this kind of shit happen?
that along is raisning issues in the sa 2010 as many who intended coming are reconsidering their decissions.
england was quick to suggest a possible pull out if the security of their reps is not assured.
what if adebayor died? will those of us here saying craps be acting in the same manner?
caf shld have been reasonable enough to consider what it means loosing two people in the same bus and entering the picth to play.

he is speaking not from his heart but from his tongue. every nigerian politician shamelessly say what jonathan said overthere.
he can say that but will the ottah farm powers permit that?
the word of every nigerian politician is, I WILL! I WILL!! I WILL!!! but the big question here remains, WHEN.
nigeria and nigerians are and shld be tired of all these I WILL, I WILL MADNESS among our politicians.

without waiting for such allegations, one can easily say from the delays in making goodluck the acting president and other circumstances souroubing his position.
there can never be a goodluck jonathan if he is not a tested and trusted loyalist to obasanjo.
the only valueable constitution in nigeria is that of obasanjo.
if we want a gooluck who is a man of his own, let the constitution of the coubtry be used in all endeavours.
on the other hand, why is ribadu coming back now after staying away from justice.
those who judge others shld always wait to be judged.
if ribadu was and is not ready to face the law, who then will he come back to judge?

be frank, what will u do in the event of being attacked by gunmen, held hostage for like 3 hrs and loose three team mates or staffs in the inccident and to crown it all, the organizers cover the secuirty lapses with a ban on the team for dying.
let us be reasonable and humane here.his accounts for why africa keeps on going backward on daily bases.

this is just the poster's list and it has gone a long way to expose how uninformed he is.
i can't see a super eagle without ogbuke and martins unless the coach is here for a kind of experiment.
