the best i like of arsenal fans is their abilities to analyse soccer. it is only an arsenal fan that is always ready to draw the epl table on the ground and show u where they will get their points to lift the cup every season. i think this character was borrowed from their professor(wenger). the most fouled player award goes to fabregas, no problems. nasri replacing fabregas? because of injury or because he is on his way out? wenger can never resist money so wether nasri can replace fab or not, 50 million euros can do the job. what arsenal fans do not know is the target of their coach, making arsenal the richest club in the world. anyone can replace fab because everybody at the club is for sale including nasri as long as the right funds are available hence the name young starlets of arsenal every season. obi is a boy every year. is this obi not grozing into a man any day. |
i was surprised that super man u was struggling to get a draw from chelsea on their own ground. wonderful chelsea. who said blue is not the colour. beating arsenal and man u home and away this season alone have made my season. by the way, did anyone see the players rating? terry is the only one at 8 while mikel and other good players like lampard, malouda, alex, scholes etc all at 7. if chelsea no beat anyother club this season, it is ok for me because it is too much for arsenal and man u fans. Even though chelsea won this match, i still feel ManU will still win the league. They are just more consistent than chelsea.@solokay, the last time i checked, usa does not know much about soccer so pls do ur best and concentrate on basketball or follow the williams sisters in their tenis otherwise vote for obama's health bill as u are in a soccer less-previledged country. the only way to win a cup is by winning matches and that was what chelsea did yesterday. man u or u man cannot win a cup by loosing matches. what we took off man u yesterday was a vital 3 points so get urself some sleeps and feel refreshed from work and i will talk to u much later. |
ribadu shld be careful. he did it and run away the first time, maybe this time arround, he will not have his ways. all these round abouts are nothing but the skillful coming back to full powers of the authocratic ruler(obasanjo). i want to believe here that nigerians are getting wiser by the day and another ribadu can lead nigeria into something very difficult this time arround. the yar adua mystery sickness and treatment is the reasons for all these. obasanjo is a good stage manager and everything is going well according to his plans but God will surely see us through. |
is a lie as this was a picture yar adua when he was healthy. |
those who gave him power have taken his speeches. he was married to the devil in his inordinate ambition to become the president of nigeria. if yar adua is allowed to talk in his situation, he might say things that will make nigeria and nigerians to run hence the withdrawal of his speaking abilities. if anyone is close to oby, he can explain this in details. |
if all these weapons are for yar dua, what will u all prepare for obasanjo who is the originator of all these shits? i don't even believe any of these stories. i mean from his travelling to saudi and his return to nigeria because no one ever saw him. my mind still tells me that yar dua was kept in the hidden places of ota farm where the spiritual abarakataba was taking place. he ascension to power was a mystery and his exit was also a mystery. this is the first time in the history of this world taht a country's president went down sick without the consent of the ppl, he left and came back with no one having any information on his health. nigerians think am pls. |
the next 5 games will decide the winner@4peace, the last time i checked, it was one game at a time. i don't believe that 5 games can be played at once. what we are talking abt according to the poster here is the game played yesterday between man u and chelsea at old trafford which chelsea came out victorious. anyways, let me believe u are acting as a man u fan but for us chelsea fan, it is now on record that in 09/10 season, chelsea beat, slap and flog man u home and away. in case u are planning to start a new topic on the next 5 games, all i will say now is that we will approach every game as they come and since that day inter millan disolved us in stanford bridge, we have turned all our oponents to victims and man u had their taste of the decission yesterday. |
@jephyard messi to me has not yet truly proven himself and i for one have always said that the premier league is tougher than the spanish league, however can you then go on to say that fletcher is as good as messi and ronaldo?@Kgdavid, if i heard this statement from u earlier on, i won't be here arguing with u. pls tell me, how many lions will a man kill before u call him THE LION KILLER? what other things do u expect from messi maybe u want to see him dress like a goal keeper for u to know that he has proved himself? na waa, my brother, u are in a different planet. messi has just one head like u, two legs like u and two eyes like u but have u ever stopped one day to ask urself, what happened to all these legs of mine, eyes of mine and head of mine? do u sometimes imagine what these guys have made out of nothing. if u say i worship mikel, no problems but if worshipping human beings is ideal, then mikel will surely be one of the living beings to get my worship. honour they say shld be given to those who are due for honour. if world soccer analysts call ur name week in, week out, there must be something behind that. look at malouda of chelsea, after how many low seasons, he is the toast of every commentator. during his low days, the french soccer fans never call for his head rather the gave him all the support he needs. u for sure will do wonders if u live in the village because someone's achievements can never go down well with u as i know ur type. u have nothing constructive in ur criticisms of mikel just hatred and envy but u have to accept the fact that God has created him to live and die above u. mind u, no matter how a cow suffers purge, it can never ever come dozn to the size of a goat. mikel is taller than u, richer than u, plays better than u, more connected than u, mikel donates into other ppl's lives more than u so tell me from which aspect of life u stand a better chance than mikel outside ur wicked ways. u have taken the position of a fault finding machine and such position does not bring development in one's life rather condeminations as the bible said, whatsoever u do against others will be used against u. remember, do unto others as u wld want others to do unto u. u a tree of wickedness and hatred and such shall always be portion unless u change ur ways. |
some april can go beyond april. if mikel is named the captain of the eagles, i think that will get him more committed to the team. by the way, he is the best nigerian footballer at the moment. |
if people are against mikel due to his nigerian roots then why are people not clamouring against osaze, martins and co? i suppose you must have asked ferguson whether mikel is the player he wants till tomorrow right? you seem to have had a nice chat with ferguson so please tell me, is he planning to buy a new player? pls when next you go to visit him pls tell him i want him to sack berbatov. thanks!@Kgdavid, if u want to be truthful, tell me, apart from nigerians, who else hate mikel or say negative things about him? mourinho - portugal, grant - isreal, scolari-brazil, hiddink-holland, ray walkins - england and ancelotti - italy, who among these soccer gurus hate mikel? the good news here is what u or ur partners in the crime say do not matter rather what God has for the young man. among the names u mentioned above in nigerian players, how many of them are u comparing to other foriegn players and how many of them are u saying good things about? the madness in this forum is abt mikel and no one of u is saying any reasonable thing abt a guy his coaches are in love with. the last time ferguson visited nigeria, ask man u fans, they will tell u what he (ferguson) said about mikel going to chelsea. as a person, what u think or say abt mikel has nothing to add or subtract from his much endoured life. no wonder nigerians and nigeria are dying in abject poverty despite all we have in natural and human resources. we are very wicked ppl and great enemies of progress. |
the truth is that since chelsea was dropped out of champions league by inter, their approach to the chase for premier title has experienced a crazy stance. man u was lucky to have been demolished as was the case in chelsea's other games. all the same, we the chelsea fans are not that much interested in the win as that is just a 3 pointer. our sole target is just the cup and nothing less than the cup. my worries are for wenger and his fans who had made our travel to old traford the target. for now, chelsea is like a moving train. |
Most ppl seem not to know the diffrence btw these two players. In my opinion is that that mikel is better than song. trophy wise, and playing wise. How? Mikel a goal getter, song a dreamer n remember anyone can play in arsenal not like chelsea, you fight to get what you want and not just experiment. If i had to construct a team mikel will be a key part to it only is given is natural position but if i had to compare mikel to anyone it either to be messi, C. Ronaldoh n probably fabrigas (this guy is even over rated.)@Jephyard, pls stop wasting ur time explaining things to these guys because most of them are dark in their hearts and can poision propgressives to death. as long as mikel is a nigerian, they can't see anything good in him. don't u know that if carlo ancelotti is a nigerian, mikel will not come close to the bench in chelsea. if they like, let them compare him to micheal jackson, mikel will continue his exploits with premier league leaders. if u ask ferguson, he will tell u that mikel is the player he wants till tomorrow. do u know that most of these haters do not know that mikel because of soccer eats and dine with world movers and shakers. the much their alex has done is eat with the stingy professor. |
what a happy day? will it be nice to remind all of us that chelsea this season has won all their games against the big four that is home and away. by the way, are there still mikel hating monkies arround the house? that guy mikel is a , can a good nigerian complete that sentence. anyways, i am just happy. there are only two colours in the world viz; BLUE and the others |
imo state? i think yes and if possible, give him third term or even make him a life gov. ohakim the state gov is very very open with the running of the state that everyone in the state knows that he is building a private 5 star hotel in south africa with state's funds and he is doing so in such a fast way as to meet up with the timings of world cup in cup. as we speak, nothing is moving forward or backward in the state. |
Like it or not: Obj is the best President Nigeria ever had - leadership, strategy, courage (boldness), love for his country, being at the forefront (not room for being second), employs the best hands he can find, the right muscles in handling affairs, etc.@egift, if obj is the best president nigeria has ever seen or will ever see, i wld want u to also know that clinton was loved as president of america by americans and non americans yet he ruled and left. why is obj not leaving? is it not wise for obj to give room for someother people to try? why is he dying to remain in power? even as the best living nigerian, is it possible that he will die one day and what will happen then? democracy is about ruling and allowing others to rule. the best president wanted third term and when he failed, he went ahead to amend pdp constitution to make him the only qualified person to be the chairman pdp board of trustees. if he is the best as u claim, why is he not giving chance to others so that we will be on a very good position to judge? apart from nigeria, where else will ur best president who had the face to sleep with his daughter inlaw and yet make his face a public one? tell me, in which other country of the world a siezed ship will disapear over night. mention to me any country of this world where the assasination of a current attorney general of a federation will not be resolved. am not interested in what he did right or wrong rather am interested in obasanjo giving room for others to try especially in those areas where he failed eg electricity |
The Governmrnt of Jonathan has the prerogative to withdraw a charge against anyone. So what the AP has done is in line with his powers. But the wise thing would have been to allow Ribadu to face the charges and let the courts free him since it is believed that the case has no substance. If another govt comes up tomorrow, it can reopen the case against Ribadu. See? This seeming favour is not the best for Ribadu. Let him come home, face the charge in court and get discharged and acquitted@ozalogbo, i am happy someone has understanding of govt and the nigerian/pdp politics. there was issue of non declaration of assets and that of propare handover as the new efcc chairman needed some vital information on outstanding issues for the weak minds here, let me bring to ur notice that ribadu had a case against atiku of which all of us here knew he was found guilty but what happened when it was confirmed that yar adua had won the presidential election? the guilty atiku was left and had remain a free man very different from other cases where ribadu found his vicgtims guilty ribadu and el rufai left immediately after their tenures and today they are warming up to come back just to take power and continued from where they stopped. @mikeansy and co, is it a democratic practice to run after one's tenure only to resurface when ever a rubber stamp gives a federal pardon. these are part of the agreement which took obasanjo long time to give goodluck jonathan his constitutional right. i don't care how many times obj's name appear in my massages provided they are realted to the issue at hand. most of u do not know the relevance of obasanjo in the pdp led govt of nigeria. mikeansy, what was ur take on soludo and what happened? the same mad group came out victorious. some times, i do not blame u as it is internet because a man who deals on goat has the possibilities of behaving like goat. i have seen u write on issues on this forum and i have not seen u talk authoritatively citing facts and figures. if u are wise as u claim, explain the situations which made atiku stay outside the forewalls of a jail till date even when ur much dreaded ribadu found him guilty. it is only goat heads like u that is not aware that ribadu was only an instrument of ur father obasanjo. if ribadu was fighting corruption as u claimed, why did that same administration record the highest level of looting in the history of nigeria. name one politician under obj's regime that is not a very rich man till date. |
if u live ur life always hungary over the things u do not have, in my place, we say u are a criminal. like or hate him, mikel is what we have and whosoever that is not comfortable with that will either have to change his nationality or commit suicide. the best weak minds can do is unhealthy comparism while the great ambassadore(mikel) continues his expoits with world class players like him. |
if anyone ran away after leaving office just to avoid accountability, that one is not worthy to serve in any capacity in this country. if anyone is calling for el rufai's return to power in nigeria, that one is either mad or uninformed. |
I honestly don't know what planet you live in.@mikeansy, with due respect, i must tell u, u do not belong here. read through ur lines and accept the fact that u are in an arguement where u are proposing and disposing at the same time. to avoid bringing urself so low, i will suggest that u choose ur topics and not trying to get involved in every arguement. at the first instance, keyamo is not a cheap lawyer neither is he a paid labourer. he has stood out on several vital federal issues and had made his landmark in the democratic fronts here in nigeria. on this particular issue or arguement, what is ur stand? are u saying that ribadu won the case because he declared his assets or that the case was withdrawn? u and i know it that ribadu left the country because he does not want to face the law. u and i also know it that ribadu is nothing short of obj boy and if the yar adua administration that claimed to believe in the rule of law has been dismissed by the creator and indirectly gathering his loyalists once again to continue from where they stopped in the destruction of the country. this same ribadu that fought corruption to its kneels could not find bode george guilty of anything. this ur ribadu allowed the highest level of looting under his serious war on corruption. who is fooling who? ribadu and el rufai staying away all these while were just for purposes. i think obasanjo has finally cleared the ground for a safe landing for both of them. |
this old fool has refused to quit the power play. nigeria is at his disposal to do what he likes to. |
The topic is misleading, i can't read anywhere in the news that he might be appointed as the head of INEC!@violent, if a whole ship can miss without trace, if chris uba can force an elected gov out of his state, if adedibua could die a free man, if a family member of yar adua will be made a minister as a compensation for a missing president, if no nigerian can say authoritatively anything about our president and his health till date, believe me, anything and everything is possible in nigeria especially with this current pdp madmen in power. |
mama gee, i know u will surely bring shame to urself one day and here we are, u telling us, we are yet to have a woman senator. |
some one mentioned right hence i ask, is the emir a constitutional title? if the answer is yes, it means he(the emir) is the head of that particular area and anyother authority has to come below his. on the other hand, one of the major reasons for setting up kingdoms for these emirs is to help bring leadership to the rural ppl and help maintain law and order at the grass roots. if a visitors actions will bring about disorder into any kingdom, i don't think the emir needs any constitutaional powers to delete the visitors. these igbomen that have these crazy feelings for leadership shld come home and get themselves occupied with one rather than disturbing other peoples' peace for unknown madness for igweship. |
overrated@2drama, you are just one out of more than 149 million coaches nigeria has and u represent just a very good reason nigerian football has refused to grow. if u are made the coach of any team where mikel plays, his carrier is finished but as God may have it, that can't be possible even in ur dreams hence mikel lives on. lol man your a funny guy. well only mourinho knows what he saw in Mikel that made him decide to use the chap as a DM. i certainly think he must have been really special judging not only by the way united and chelsea fought over him but also by his performances in the youth world cup at that time. perhaps the move to chelsea came too soon for him and he could not deliver his best under the pressure he was in. who knows? like i said only mourinho would be able to enlighten us. maybe mikel would have benefited from being in a smaller premiership club where he would be fighting to help them avoid relegation. such things help to build character but as it was, he ended up being dumped in a pile of superstars while the whole word was expecting him to be the next big thing. it is possible he either become too arrogant and started believing his own hype or he started feeling inferior. either one is a recipe for disaster. should he then have gone to united? who can say? after all anderson was also supposed to be the next big thing as an attacing midfielder but at some point was being used as a DM. mikel has some good attributes. he is a good passer of the ball. i remember being amazed by his level of technique back then. i would suggest that nigeria use mikel in something similar to the role carrick plays for united. in truth most midfielders take time to developbut for someone wearing the no10 for his country, we want more. in his shoes what would i do? i would go out there and play football to the very best of my ability. yes mikel has made it in life and he has found "geener pastures" but do not forget one thing: "the customer is always right". footballers make their money from you and i! everytime you pay your dstv bill, you are contributing to mikels salary and everytime you buy original chelsea merchandise(assuming you do) you are contributing to mikels salary. so is it not right or the customer to complain if they don't like the services rendered to them?@Kgdavid, what u have presented here is called constructive criticism or arguement. i like or even love ppl who have points and facts to point to and that is exactly what u have done here. debates and arguements are worn on points and if i am uninformed about soccer and mikel, i will simply give up here but my fears here is ur readiness to accept the undiluted truths as will be presented under the following headings; 1. nigeria : it really unfortunate that i do not know how long u have been in the system that is following nigerian football but for me, i can discuss nigerian football well as it relates to the 1993 national side till date. be reminded that nigeria had abacha who was in love with soccer and our national side became a world brand under his regime and after that, we have been on the decline. nigerians have been suffering as a result of our inability to tackle the problems as we always prefer leaving the object for shadow. apart from mikel, what else is working well in nigeria. just name one thing that is funcitioning well in nigeria. the death of nigerian football has been blamed by many short sighted soccer analysts of nigeria on mikel. 2. going to chelsea : in going to chelsea, mikel committed a crime that 190% of nigerians will commit when he dumped man u and their £4m fraudulent contract for a whopping £16 million chelsea clean deal. pls correct this assumption with refference if u have or know of any. 3. your suggestion of going toa smaller club and build his carrier from there: how do u fit this in with the history of okocha who took ur suggested route? how far did he climb on the ladder? what about kanu? who started with big clubs - ajax of those days, inter and arsenal, how do u see the duo? do not forget, every african man wants to make the best of money while he is young and remember, a club like arsenal can only give u 1 yr contract as soon as u are 30. how did okocha leave bolton after all his efforts in keeping them out of relegation zone. 4. mourinho : like u rightly said, mourinho knows what he saw in mikel but what about subsequent coaches? don't u think, grant, scolari, hiddink and ancelloti can decide to bench mikel especially for the single reason of not been the ones that bought him. if we say mourinho made a mistake, it is a world class mistake by abt six world class coaches which can only be corrected by uninformed nigerians. 5. purpose of football : the last time i checked, these clubs were registered as limited liability companies with a single purpose of maximizing profits. if that is the main purpose of these clubs, what do u think shld be the target of the players? getting the best they can or playing just to make nigerians happy? finally, i wish to remind u brother, football business is somewhat organised that lawyers, consultants of different pedigrees and agents are involved. the movement of a player to and out of any club depends not only on the player but on someother factors and persons. these gang of professionals are not there as cahrity organisations of non profitable organisations rather they are there to make the best out of every deal. there are more than one million mikels in nigeria who need the help of a shittu to become the topics of the day. shittu found mikel and ogbuke and today mikel has become a problem just because he is successful. |
Taiwo plays more as a midfielder for Marseille. I still prefer Echiejile to him at left-back in the Super Eagles particularly when we have central defenders who aren't very good at covering their wing backs.@semid4lyfe, it is about taiwo's goal in marseille and the echiejile u prefer is not prefered by the marseille coach hence the need to talk about the goal, taiwo and marseille but if you have need for comparism, u can start a new topic. A good coach usually plays a formation that will suit the strengths of the available players. Taiwo is a good wingback but a below par full back. Taiwo would fare well in a 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 diamond formation with a DM as an anchor.@ow11, u just dropped the harmmer at the head of the nail. |
i hope obasanjo pays regular visits to his wife. |
we all know that one of the pre-requisites to be a ruler in nigeria is madness. most of our so-called rulers, killed, rigged and destroy to become rulers and all the above and more xcharracteristics are same with madmen. it is obvious gaddafi is a madman but he can't compete with david mark or anyother pdp ruler in nigeria. if we want to compare their levels in madness, gaddafi can be seen as a student in that field while mark is a lecturer. |
I said am a b0lton fan,and thr0ughout dis seas0n he hasn't be on the pitch ! If y0u are c0ach is this what y0u will do,inviting players who are n0t match fit, evem y0bo was on da bench yesterday , and about the search f0r playaz can't believe u r sayin dis @ dis point in time 80dayz 2 d w0rldcup@mauritim0n@poster, pls permit me to start by doubting ur bolton fanship. secondly, u have refused to say ur mind on this issue hence i urge u to come out clear so that we know where u belong. it is normal when u raise a topic,u give ur piece of mind and then let us in by choosing either to support u or disagree with u. on the other hand, u said he didn't play a game for ur club before he was invited for angola. my question here is, what was ur rating of his performance in angola? assuming all our present difference line are bench warmers in their various clubs, what do u think we shld do or what wld u do if u are the coach. ivanovic of chelsea started playing only when bosinga was sidelined by injury yet he was in serbia's national team during their world cup qualifiers. that a player is not playing in his club does not make him bad as there cld be other reasons like, coach's prefference. again, it cld be as a result of who u are playing the same wing with. assuming bolton has someone better than shittu in their team, they will not have a choice than making him the second choice be reminded that second choice in one club cld be a first team player in another. the best nigerians can do at this time arround is to allow he that was paid for this selecrtion job to do his work. nigerians are fund of selecting the players for the coach. |
after the youth world cup Mikel was my favorite player.i purchased his full chelsea jersey even though i am a united fan. the point here is that the Mikel we see today is not what all nigerians were hoping and expecting to see. he is now an average defensive midfielder who seems rather arrogant. as for the man of the match thing, he made an impact coming on in that game but its very unusual to give the man of the man award to a substitute anywhere in the world. it must be noted that mourinho might be responsible for this although i remember n his first few games he was given an attacking midfield spot before it was decided that he was better as DM@Kgdavid, u are sounding too educating and sweet that i can stop reading through ur lines. if my sense of understanding as it relates to english language is not a bad one, from what u wrote on quote above, 1.mikel changing from an attacking midfielder to a defensive midfielder was a mistake by mourinho? 2. the idea of giving a man of the match award to a substitute was a mistake by caf? 3. will it be wise to say that mikel dumpping man u for chelsea was a mistake too by mikel? 4. based on his present performances, will it be nice to say that mikel of today is a mistake of what nigerians saw in 2005? 5. are there things mikel has done right in ur views or is his life full of mistakes? i want to believe that most african footballers left for europe in search of greener pastures? if u agree with this, is mikel doing well on this course or is he a case of mistakes? if you have the opportunities of mikel, what will u do and what will u not do? in the case of a player under contract, whose decission is it to place him in a position in the field of play? is it normal for a player to obey the orders of his coach or that of his countrymen to avoid been called a disgrace, disappointment, rubbish, stupid, lazy etc? from the way u sounded in ur last post, i have fallen for u and i believe u will remain that way in responding to this text of mine. |
yes, u are right my dear. u are not here for money but for love. i will be happy to see u in nollywood movies soon as you know how to play the scripts. the way u presented yourself here looks original but it is really unfortunate that the timing is not right. what you do in south africa and the way you will travel back from there to ur country will vindicate you at the end of the day. those who employed u are out to distroy ur record and make the best of money out of ur contract. |
if u have been praying a particular formular for 50yrs and it is not working, why not try a new prayer point? to me, there nothing one a country where only a particular group continiously occupy the seat of power. please, let us pray for three(3) nigeria. |
leave all the dimwits on NL. when you see eboue's improvement at Arsenal, you imagine wat Taiwo would do if he has a good defensive trainer. some thing our oyinbo coach should work on.@snakova, the topic is abt taiwo's goal at his club that is in france that is far from arsenal and ebue. all what we expect to hear from u is thank God for him or that it was not a goal. the ebue u have introduced here now, is he the same ebue that came to angola for those who do not watch english league? did ebue come to afc with his much talked abt improvement and if yes, how far did he go and if no, why not? the only way to be a successful man in life is to first of all appreciate what u have and thank God for the lives of others. we have no respect for all these guys who are sacrificing their lives for us and why. sam okwaraji died playing for nigeria, today no one is talking abt him or his family and someone somewhere is still taking that same risk, haba, they deserve our praises. for Taiwo, i pray that he will remain focused in his game and god that has brought him this far will take him to a greater height. taiwo and other nigerian players must always remember that their fate is not in the hands of nigerians. |
