Anyways don't know if it possible to change pin, as for blocking bb, if you have blackberry protect (doesn't work for bb complete users, at least on glo and etisalat), u can know the vicinity/area where ur phone is located, but that's just it, the phone will be locked and make loud noise. But wen there's no BIS on the stolen Bb, Blackberry protect won't work. A sure way to trace your bb, is to write to all 4 networks with your proof of ownership, police report and IMEI number (you're writing to all four networks because you don't know which network the thief is using with ur bb). Once they input the pin and IMEI of your bb on their system, if its being used on that network, the phone number using that pin will come up on the screen. And since all lines are registered, from there you can trace the thief.

Its possible cos i've tried it, (if u know someone who works with the telecomms company, a call centre agent can do it for you).

Nope you can do online transfers even to other banks, at least i'm sure of diamond and gtb. All you need to do is get their token, a tiny device that generates pin and you're good to go. Ask your bank about it.

You need to switch over to GLO immediately. First of all, GLO has a dedicated call centre for BIS subscribers, in less than 2 minutes they will answer your call, and the call centre reps know their job, wen i have issues, they take me through steps i should use in resolving the issue. Plus here in Kaduna they have 3G which gives me blazing speeds, really i can't think of any other network to use and i have used both MTN and Etisalat (they also have 3G here), but they still can't be compared to glo. Goodluck.

yang: I served in ONELGA, Rivers Batch A 2011 and I just passed out last month. I spent one year teaching physics and I must say that I enjoyed every minute of it. Nysc was not designed to enable graduates get job expirience or to get contact for job. It was designed to serve Nigeria through the community one is posted to. People really have to stop being selfish. If you are rejected, keep looking, go to the villages in ur local govt, there are many schools in rural communities who lack teachers, many. Also, being a corper in the village does not stop you from getting employed after Nysc, I passed out last month and I got a very good job a month before passing out( without connection ). As a teacher you have the freedom to travel for days to attend interviews or write exams. U also have an enviroment that enables you to study for certifications and to do a lot of soul searching. u cannot get these things working sleeping in an office or serving tea in the national assembly.

People really need to stop being selfish, serving in a village remains a wonderful expirience and if I have the time I will always go back to kriegani cos it is now my second village

Guys! i'm a batch A corp member serving in Kaduna, i was lucky, i got posted to Kaduna Polytechnic, where i've been told that i'm gonna be lecturing. i was posted to the department of estate management (that's wat i studied). i'm a. 2.1 graduate from a fed uni, heard all corp member posted to kad poly will be lecturing. Even though i believe i can deliver, i think its not right to give corp members a full course to handle, wen our universities produce half baked graduates #justsaying, some people posted to this poly are already talking about how they'll accept sorting cos the poly only pays 7k to corp members.

Also, its true that close to 85% of batch A corp members were posted to government schools in kaduna (they didn't even post to private schools, to the best of my knowledge). Come and see the kind of remote villages they posted corp members to, and as far as i know, rhe schools are not rejecting. The corp members are the ones who tell the schools to reject them.

i'm really not happy about this policy, i went to ecobank and they told me that they need corp members in all their branches in kd and even went to NYSC to request for corp members, but NYSC told them to forget it cos of the policy. i resume in two weeks, i hope this policy will be reviewed for the upcoming Batch B corp members.

Hey guys! So i was at the NYSC Headquarters yesterday in Abuja. Where i met a lot of students posted to the north trying to change their posting. i was posted to Kaduna and the director of Mobilization informed us that the only way to leave the states we've been posted to is either one is a married woman seeking to join her husband or suffering from a life threatening ailment.

We were also told that only married women will be re-deployed to any state they want. But re-deployment to Lagos, Rivers and Abuja will be impossible to anyone seeking such re-deployment even with a medical report.

I have a medical report and want to redeploy to lagos, i want to know if it'll be possible and the man was only trying to discourage us or there actually will be no re-deployments to those 3 states this year. Cheers.

The 2012 Batch ‘A’ Orientation camp Timetable has been adjusted. The adjustment ONLY affects few states as follows:

Niger, Nasarawa and Benue States Orientation Exercise start on Tuesday 6th March, 2012 and end on Tuesday 20th March, 2012(2 weeks).
Kano, Borno and Yobe States Orientation Camps start on Thursday 22nd March, 2012 and end on Thursday 5th April, 2012 (2 weeks).

i guess this decision is as a result of the security challenges in those states. i still think they should not send corp members to those violence prone northern states, and with the plan to send corp members to rural areas, this means people will get posted to rural areas in the north as well? God help us.

Secondly, guys please i need to know on wat day u guys think we'll start receiveng our call up letters (for Batch A), since camp will be starting on the 6th, so i'll know we to travel, thanks.

i think over speeding is a huge and major reasing why we have alot of road accidents. Impatience is also part of it. I live in kaduna and use to travel to my school (Nnamdi Azikiwe university), Awka by road. yes we already know that our government is full of crap, we know the roads are bad and in some area not wide enough, so why would u put ur life in danger by being reckless by over speeding not being patient because u want to over take those annoying lorries in front of you (those lorries and trucks also cause accidents alot, with their brakes that's always failing). one should be careful wen driving and know that life has no duplicate.

Sometimes wen some cars overtake me, i just say to myself that this one has no value for life. if u're in a commercial vehicle and the driver is speeding always call him to order, many have lost their lives beacuse they were trying to get to their destination on time. At the end of the day, na God dey save person.

They paid corpers jan allowee yesterday, imagine! They've started payin other fed civil servants too!

i got slapped on my first day at Nnamdi Azikiwe University by Anti-Cults, wat was my offence? i was in front of the line, waiting to do my clearance, they asked us to move back, i was trying my best to move back. But people from behind were still pushing forward (crowd was much). All of a sudden one useles anti cult guy came from no where and landed a hot slap on my face, i felt my ear ringing. Chai, that day was also the most embarrassing day of my life on campus. The useles people pushing from behind now stopped pushing and everyone cooled down. i will never forget that idiot's face, still looking forward to messing him up one day, i have eventually let it go sha.

Since that day till i graduated i maintained o! Never had any issue that led me to anticult's office (for fighting in ur off campus hostel, if u're reported, anti cult will invite you) , u dear not mess with them.

i'm glad i'm no more there, even heard that some of them are cultists sef.

i'm in kaduna, all networks have 3G here (dunno about Airtel, does anyone still use that network??). Anyways, MTN claim they have 3.5G but it can be very slow and unstable. Etisalat is quite fast, especially at night but honestly none compares to Glo, i sometimes hate glo o! Dey have their own issues, once in a while (like once or twice a month) the speed usually drops. But i thinks its the fastest here during the day i get download speeds of up to 150kbps and at night 200 to 300kbps. Quite fast, but i dunno how the service is in lag o! The last time i was in ikeja the 3G service on glo was fluctuatin during the day, but in kd it always stable.

So this means that my cousin will not pay me the money i borrowed him since jan tomorrow again, he's a Doc working with the Fed. Neuro Psychiatric and they have not been paid.

This is affecting me bad o! Yeye government, tot they said workers will be paid by the 20th (this was the reason i even loaned him the cash). Mtcheeew!

Eating at funerals isn't wrong. Even overseas people eat and bring food for the family of the deceased. Some people travel long distances to attend the funeral, their humans, they may get hungry, then wat about the kids and a few elderly. It not wrong at all.

Though going to the extent of fighting for food is wrong. In villages ,  people attend various burials of people people they may or may not know just so that they can eat, smh for them, poverty.
