My friend's husband incorrectly filled the date of birth of his wife at the passport office, and so a passport with an incorrect data was issued to her. Not knowing what to do, she proceeded to for her visa interview at the the embassy. Now she is not comfortable with this mistake and has insisted that she would correct it at the expiration of the passport. She wants to know the implication of going for another interview with a new passport. showing her correct date of birth. Thank you

Good morning everybody. So much has been happeninf on this thread, the prayers, the discussions on the synod and also on Sede vacantists.
For me, i feel the Holy Spirit inspired and directed the synod. You like it or not the church is praying and God will never allow the smoke of the devil to overwhelm the church. I am confident on the word of God and his promise to always be with his church. That being said, we should never stop praying for the church.

On Sedes as the call themselves, I remember the first question i asked on this thread was about them and how to counter thier so "erroneous" point. If you all remember, I said my brother had just become a member and my family was at loss at what to do. As at the time i brought it up here, many of us had not heard of them. Trust it is good that catholics are becoming aware and you have to know your faith or less trust me, you will sing thier song. As some one who has one as a brother, it has not been easy. Their main target is always the pope. They are always ready with issues against the pope. @ Salc, I have a feeling that this your fears about the pope was instilled in you from you sedevacantist friend. My brother almost did that to me.

The virtue of faith,we know is infused into our souls along with sanctifying grace during baptism. But faith will lie dormant if not put into action by making an act of faith. We make an act of faith when ever we give conscious assent to the truths which God has revealed.Not because we fully undastand the truths, not because the truth has been scienifically demonstrated to our satisfaction. But because God revealed them. So when God says something is so, we can ask for no greater certainty than that.
My sisters/ brothers, let us always learn to put our faith into action in the word of God that is infinitely truthful, apply it in all areas of our lives. When we believe and act on these truths he has revealed, then we are honoring God's infinite wisdom and truthfulness in the most practical way possible. God bless us all.

i believe everything in the bible is inspired. The old testament is a detailed narration of the life the jews at home and in exile. This events were written down in order for the jews to always remember how Yahweh delivered them. For me , the stories are real, God is more than capable to do much more than we can imagine.

it should also be noted that the bible did not come into existence not until 300yrs after the death of christ. So then, on what then did the christians of that time believe in, the teachings of the church. The church definitely gave birth to the bible. Without the church there will be no bible.
