All three of them were without insults just pure language, logic and love for BIAFRA, yet 1 got deleted and the second ( this ) was modified into something I didn't write. All this without informing me or taking permission.
Before moving the thread to front page, the mods quickly "sanitised" it to suit whatever agenda commissioned to them by whosever probably the FG. Hypocrites!! Where is the freedom of speech enshrined in the Constitution ? Where is the right to self-determination instituted by the United Nations ?
I iterate my deleted post below :
OyigboUpdate, I have witnessed your unending campaign/propaganda against the IPOB largely based on half-truths, unverified information and forged materials. Who is Bankrolling you ?? Now I ask, are you anti-Igbo, anti-Biafra, anti-IPOB or anti-violence.
If you categorize among the first 2 then sorry you're are pitting against a dogged dog in this fight. Come rain come sunshine, with or without IPOB, MNK and the host of them good or bad, no true Biafran will give up the struggle for the actualization of the sovereign state of BIAFRA.
We didn't relent after the unwarranted murder of our comrades and loved ones in the Civil war and recently in the revived struggle. We won't start now. Our afflictions will only scar us enough to push us to press onto freedom.
The violent actions of derailed miscreants likely sponsored by detractors will not dampen our conviction.
I stand for the actualization of a BIAFRA of peace in my lifetime. Iseee.

Romance › Re: Help Me Please This Masturbation Is Changing My Life by chigator2: 12:44pm On Sep 12, 2021 |
I will give you tips that you should reflect on to guide you to self recovery
... You have to decide how serious you are about breaking the habit.
Think about your situation, you are literally a slave to an unproductive addiction. Think about what masturbation has cost you ( dignity, social life, free conscience ). Think about how useful you can become without something useless occupying your time and mind.
... Open up to someone not a close friend but someone who is like a authority over you like your parents, pastor, teacher, the whole family. Tell them you are a chronic masturbator willing to repent. I am sure they will be willing to help you heal yourself.
This is hard, I admit but it is shame that emanates from you exposing yourself that breaks you free. Then if you still have some conscience you would sincerely almost magically strive to redeem your public image in their eyes. Ironically, It is the secrecy and guilt of this act that leads the victims back to it. You can testify to it.
... Starve the Beast.
Delete social media. Forgo music videos and provocative websites. Don't buy data ( if you can ), delete all suggestive movies, books, pictures and off course pornography from your devices. Switch off your phone immediately you are done with a task. Avoid staying alone any where.
There is a lot more you know that triggers you. If you mean it you have to play the part of a man fighting a lion barehanded. Be brutal and cut throat in approach. Because if you dare give room to any slight stimulus, your autonomic nervous system takes over, logic leaves you and you are back in the pit.
... Replace the habit.
As soon as you have decided to break free, pick up something to occupy your mind and brain. Strenous and tasking activities not entertainment.
Physical Exercise, Books, New skills and knowledge Volunteer work, Church / Mosque
In the end, breaking free from your addiction might make you a potential candidate for financial, academic etc Success.
... Don't dare relapse
If you dare backslide, the guilt will verbally speak to you and say " You just had a round, what's the big deal, you are as dirty as you were before, you strained yourself for nothing, go ahead and please yourself once more".
Then you go on in the show of shame.
Help yourself bro, don't be a slave. |

ThatFairGuy1: Lopsidedness. Thank God your senses were returned to you enough to modify and delete the rubbish statement you made about Igbos being leeches. When we say most Nigerians hate Igbos but pretentiously act otherwise, you call it victim's mentality, how did this harmless and unrelated statistic become centered on Igbos ? I guess you have a simple mind well let me inform you. The statistics didn't report that Yorubas in Lagos generated this or Fulanis in Kano generated that. It gave figures of which a lot of human factors contributed to. Even in Lagos, Dangote Group owned by a Northerners generates the Lion's share of the plate. SE having a relatively lower IGR isn't tantamount to parasitism because there is no proven correlation in that regard. And this status is resultant to numerous factors including corruption, prevalent business model in the region, low compliance amongst others. To conclude, every state in that list aside Lagos , receives more from the FG than it generates, making them all leeches (in your context) , some bigger leeches than the rest (likely where you categorize). I firmly believe that if some states in SE begin to collect the FG's share of revenue, a handout won't be necessary because I clearly remember a time when Anambra was the only state operating on zero debt. |

Illiterate Peoples of Biafra (IPoBs) over to you. Ooboyy you sound bitterred and baterred. What is Delta but a geopolitical creation of the hijacked Nigerian FG. Who is making claims Ijaws or their land or any one else, are they property to own ? What Igbos will never ceases to insist is that we are of the same stock with certain groups in Delta State with certainty e.g Anioma and the feeling is mutual. You can go ahead and cry on the mountains but I know the average Yoruba man dreads, the unity and rise of the old Eastern region, certain enough to displace and offset the status quo with Lagos and SW in general. Sorry. |

bobowaja: The issue of opobo and bonny people should be laid to rest. It belongs to the Ijaws.
First before you shout Yoruba awedu eating afonja, you should understand I am a full blooded Yoruba man. No need to remind me.
Secondly, I love history and I won't like seeing revisionists articles flying everywhere on the forum.
To the matter. I think ijaws are to be blamed for this flaw. They broke the first rule of survival which is self preservation.
There is something called acculturation in their culture. It is an act of baptizing of stranger into their folds. And in this case, pepple house, which was the ruling house.
Opobo was acculturised into Ijaw way of life and made to benefit from the house inheritance.
According to town culture, heritage is not by birthrights but by who is capable to rule the house. Jaja was capable, though there was a in-house civil war when he was made to rule the house, but he won decisively. This marks the beginning of his exploits.
The Ijaws followed him as their ruler. And during the palm oil boom (palm oil also known and red oil). Jaja has already taken control of the water ways and creeks for trading with the Europeans (his sagacity and business acumen can't be overruled). This sole act gave him some form of monopoly over the new trade in the creeks, he was the sole exporter to the UK in rivers while still maintaining holds on who trades what along the water ways with other European countries. He was wealthy so does the city he built from the ijaw followers.
A source from premiumtimes: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/155532-general-minimah-opobo-ancestry-burden-history-eric-teniola.html
This will later put him into trouble with the Queen, as the UK was so greedy to the extent that she wanted to trade directly with the merchants which they did after sentencing jaja to banishment in Accra (present day Ghana). Jaja himself was instrumental in conquering Ashanti forces (but let's not deviate from the topic).
The palm oil boom brought about large numbers of Igbo in the hinterlands into bonny (it must be corrected that though some were slaves but most Igbos that came during the oil boom were free born not slaves). They came with their cultures and way of lives in such numbers that threatened the indigenous people. Instead of ijaw to take control, they decided to hide some vital part of the community from them like languages etc... But this backfires as Igbo became the largest spoken language in the area in just matter of years (the indigenous people also adopted the language).
Another source (oral interview): http://asirimagazine.com/en/opobo-chronicles-from-genesis-to-revelation/
It should be noted that this is not the first time indigenous people will adopt other people's language, clothings, names and other cultural values. Example is Akoko Edo in present day Edo state. Most of the towns and villages are very fluent in Yoruba language, they adopted the Yoruba language and some part of cultures. Even some of their towns have Yoruba names, but they are not Yoruba - they are edoic group. Another example is ijaw in present day ondo state. Most of them speak Yoruba fluently and adopt the names, typical one is Omoyele Sowore.... He is an ijaw man who could be mistaken for a Yoruba man. Apart from those, there are some far Edo towns in etsako east local govt like okpella etc that have Yoruba names and also speak the language fluently, that doesn't make them Yoruba. The current ruling house in Ilorin all bears Yoruba name and speak Yoruba fluently, that doesn't make them Yoruba... They are Fulanis! The itsekiri adopted their clothings from Bini, that doesn't make them one.
The point I am trying to make here is that, people adopting your language, name and culture doesn't change them from who they were... Their identities will still remain intact as their genetical makeup.
Even an heavily biased igbodefender blog here admitted one truth which agreed to heavy migration of Igbo to the ijaw owned town.
Source: https://igbodefender.com/2016/05/16/more-facts-emerge-that-opobo-and-bonny-people-are-mostly-igbo/
To that boy that said he wanted to cry when he heard people speaking Igbo fluently in bonny, you have tears in your eyes. Language is for communication. If bonny is located in the north, they will speak Hausa fluently. In Southern Kaduna alone, there are more than 20 tribes. All of them speak Hausa but still retain their cultural identities.
I am done. You are opened to bash me, but make sure you bring evidences of opposing views. Insults alone won't do the trick. I don't know what concerns a distant Yoruba man with the happenings and politics of sister states, all once under the old eastern region. It will interest you to note that the native language of the opobo people is Igbo language with dialectic differences as nuanced as anambra Igbo or ikwerre Igbo. This is far different from the case of Ijaws living in Yoruba but integrate with the culture. Rather the opobo people are relatively distanced from the core igbo states yet the identity and cultural heritage is preserved. I have discerned the problem of the average Yoruba bigot. He ( bigot ) fears the rise of the old eastern region area in all ramifications most especially a united political front. This phobia is understandable because their little show organised and hosted in Lagos ( extrapolated to the rest of SW ) as a compensation from the Northern hijacked FG will come to an abrupt end/decline. Cry on even more than the bereaved but do so at the risk of your own sanity. |

Politics › Re: It Is Only Christians That Provoke Muslims In This World by chigator2: 8:35am On Sep 01, 2021 |
thebosstrevor1: I have come to realise that it is only Christians and Christian nations that always provoke muslims.
Many Christians know that muslims have their own rules and way of life, their is the sharia law, sharia education and sharia banking, infact Islam is a way of life for muslims, many Christians know that but they will always find a way to promote choas and cause conflict by interfering with Islamic traditions and way of life.
I have never met any muslim that will talk bad about Jesus christ or even try to burn the bible but it is Christians that will try to draw Mohammed picture in a scandalous way to provoke the muslims, burn the bible or talk bad about Mohammed wives, when muslims called them out, they will hide their bigotry and hate under freedom of speech to protect their provoking attitude. Even here on nairaland, you will see anti islam monikers all over the place but you will never see a muslim deface christian dieties, Some of them do it purposely to cause chaos and see the reaction of muslim because they know that muslims are emotional and devoted to their religion.
Another instance is, it is the Christian nation that will invade muslim countries and start preaching democracy to them, when they know, democracy has no relation with the principles of leadership in Islam. As a guise, the Christian nation will steal their oil, put tribes against each other and then kill their children, sisters, brothers , mothers and fathers with bombs, when the muslims organize and decides to fight back, they are called Terrorists.
Many Christians know that Saudi Arabia is the holy land of Muslims and that there are certain way which they behave with their women, men and society at large but the Christians will find a way to provoke the people by fighting for so called women right, human right and trying to cause choas even when the muslim society is at peace with it.
The truth is that you will never see a muslim country trying to influence western way of life but anyway the wars created by the Christian countries in muslim countries is already bringing about subtle muslim influences in western culture. immigration of muslim people from war torned muslim countries to western countries is already culturally and politically changing the west. Please tell me why the first successors of Muhammad fought amongst themselves. What provoked them then ? It is their barbaric, wary and intolerant lifestyle/religion |
