I will never support any PDP-convert to head any sensitive position in the incoming government. Saraki, and Dogara are all 60% PDP made. Its belittling original APC members to allow them occupy any of the top four sensitive positions in the country.

Igbos are systematically betraying GEJ. They are too weak to play opposition.
Shut up this morning... Good morning to you anyway.

This man is not talking about Presidential elections. He is talking about other elections which is true.

In Abia APGA won the guber race but PDP stole the mandate, power pf incumbency.
In Imo PDP won the election but APC overshadowed them, power pf incumbency.
Anambra was not in governorship things this year.

But Anambra is a CORE PDP state. APGA would have done better if not because of some issues bothering on internal party wrangling.

So do not drag GEJ into this matter.

Igbos voted for GEJ... In my polling unit APC got one vote only

You are very funny. Aguiyi Ironsi is now a northerner.

Have you forgotten he stole power from the northerners?

The bottom line is Aguiyi Ironsi killed the dream of realisation of Republic of Niger Delta. Simple as ABC.

Who are the revolutionaries? This guy, you think you are still in the days of red beret wearing brigands calling themselves revolutionaries.

Wake up you are in 2015.
I think you are the person that has to do the waking up here. What brought Ironsi into power was not "just" a coup. It was a revolution. That is why those who carried it out went into killing spree.

Ironsi is not a northerner, but he was put in power by northern soldiers who felt as the most senior officer of the Nigerian army then, he should be the head of state. But because he didnt even know why the boy did what they did. He surrounded himself with only born to rule zoo keepers. when they got tired of him, they slew him like a chicken.
Politics › Re: Oil Platform Fabrication: Ijaw Youths Draw Battle Line by Chigold101(m): 3:36am On May 19, 2015
SonOfEl:
ironsi messed up because he politically naive. He had no business running the politics of a complication called nigeria, because he was not ready for it. His pride brought his fall.
However, chigold, if your brother slated you for assasination in the name of revolution, what would you do once you are able to overpower him?
Ironsi was detribalised to a fault, he did not act decisively despite the pressure he got to do so. He was too trusting and too self-confident. He was litmus test that proved how deeply fractured nigeria was both religiously and ethnically. Even the military, a neutral arm was affected by this fracture.
Anambarians especially, generally give little commendation to igbo who are not from their side. It is an unhealthy competition. Only Achebe as far as i know (in anambra) spoke generously about ironsi, in his last book 'there was a country'. Imo, ebonyi and delta people speak about him with mixed remarks. Abia people honour him but many still blame him behind closed doors. Enugu people act a bit like their anambra counterpart.
Achebe's book "there was a country is a MEMOIR" not a history book. In memoir, you wrote what you felt at a particular point in time. not necessarily what the history said or know about the person. to me and the rest of Ndi Igbo, Ironsi messed up. That is by the way sha

How?

Some folks need to look inward and stop blaming others for their political woes. If they did well who will be talking about OBJ or GMB today?

Buhari is smart enough!

OBJ did his bit.

Leave him alone.
mention 3 of the bits which OBJ did.

Dont tell me he brought GSM. Because he killed Nitel/Mtel and almost rendered Mike Adenuga useless in telecommunication sector.

Do you know why we dont have 0801 today in Nigeria? The reason is because OBJ decided to shut the door against Adenuga‘s company which purchesed the 0801 licence. Glo came through another door as a national carrier after many yoruba men begged OBJ & Adenuga giving him more money than the one he recieved before... So dont talk about GLO.

Why didnt OBJ involve Kalu & Kolade during his time as the president.

I pity GMB if he listens to OBJ.

i do not accept your explanation. Ironsi's failure was 'unitary decree' he issued, and his ambivalence and approach in dousing the tension that is already fever high.

Ironsi's mistakes made incoming leaders sit up and avoid the potholes he fell into. Asides that, he was a first class general, at least he didnt commit genocide against boro's people.

Try to be constructive in your criticism and stop embarassing igbos here. Go and download 'iron side' online, written by a iloegbunam, a seasoned igbo historian and get a balanced view about him.
my brother please dont get me wrong. Ironsi is a fine gentle man but he had no revolutionary ambition. He was not ready for what was given to him.

Let me ask u a question: if you brother kills a man‘s father (God forbid), will you employ the son of the man ur father killed as your body guard or gate man?

You said am embarrasing Igbos, please tell me where Ndi Igbo ever spoke good of Ironsi. Tell me what Igbos is doing in his honour.

Even Nigeria and the zoo keepers are not also remembering Ironsi.

Whatever Chuks wrote is not important here because Ironsi was never a part of the revolution. As i said before, the zoo keepers brought him up as the most senior officer but a vision you were not part of creating, you can never run with. Ironsi do not understand the reason for the revolution. And he paid with his life for his ignorance.

Peruse my post, I didn't say so. All I said was that the possible reason why Niger deltans are not getting the job is because they are not qualified. It was a response to somebody who had the mindset that the locals should be given the jobs irrespective of their qualifications
here they go again. When it comes to matters that concern people from Niger Delta & Igbos, they talk of qualification. When it concerns the zoo keeper of hausa fulani extraction, they remember federal character. When it concerns their slave friends, the yorubas they remember their blood brothers. It is a pity.

You want to me “us“ think that in the whole of Niger Delta region, they dont produce enough qualifeid people to work in a good company...

Too bad

Is it that you people refuse to read and only rely on the lies your uncles are telling you, to make them feel good and look.like superheroes in your eyes?

Was it the northerners that thwarted Adaka Boro's dream of Republic of Niger Delta or Aguiyi Ironsi.

For you information, your Aguiyi Ironsi crushed the dream of Republic of Niger Delta and jailed Adaka Boro for treason.
lolzzz... Please who is Aguiyi Ironsi? In your entire life how many times have you read or heard Igbos praising him. Aguiyi Ironsi was not fit to be anything other than army general in far away Congo. Aguiyi Ironsi is a GRADE ONE FAIRLURE. Aguiyi Ironsi was only doing the biddens of the born to rule zoo keepers whom he sorounded himself with.

The zoo masters finally killed him when they felt he has outstayed his welcome.

Before you write another thrash. Remember that it is the zoo keepers that gave him power not the revolutionaries. The revolution that children of Lower NIGER ploted and carried just because of a little mistake, someone who has no revolutionary ambition came up and messed the dream and aspiration of our brave men.

May their souls find rest...

Please shove the name of the man somewhere far away when issues of the Lower NIGER & Biafra is been discussed.

This reaction gives legitimacy to opposing grounds who see increasing terrorism and new threats from Lower Niger as a real risk against new investments.
i think it is high time the yorubas stop all this their media blackmail against the people of Lower Niger.

I am only feeling sorry for the people of Niger Delta whom thought that the yorubas are their friends & Igbos are their enemies.

It is so good that (“ikuku ekugo, anyi na afuzi ike okuku“) the has blown and we are seing the an.us of fowl(chiecken).

When people start to fight for their right, they are seeing as risk. This is very good. If oil exploration company thinks that this threat and others before it is too risky for them. They should cease oparation. They can move to Lagos or anywhere in the North to continue their oil exploration.

People of ND should be allowed to control of their life & their destiny. PERIOD!

I have to agree with them. How can you build a company in lagos yet everything that company would be fabricating is coming from ND.

The injustice in thatc country is becoming ridiculous
well Adaka Boro saw thought this would happen. He decided to fight by proclaiming a new republic but about 12 days after. The born to rule over came him and he became their mule.

Ojukwu saw this coming, for about 3years blood was flowing all over Biafran land (including lower niger). The zoo keepers with norn to rule mentality blackmailed Adaka Boro into working against Ojukwu. After 3years Biafra lost the battle for freedom.

Today over 40years after the end of the battle which “we“ believe that Biafra lost. Here we are still talking about the same thing.

The yorubas said they are the friends of the Niger Deltans we all are seeing the strenght of their friendship with the Niger Deltans.

Well am watching to see how this new war will end.

God Bless BIAFRA, GOD BLESS LOWER NIGER REPUBLIC...

Ojukwu may GOD rest your soul.
