But any underage voter in North would have voted for the party that controls INEC.

Is it not INEC that registered the underage voters?

Which party controls INEC, is it APC or PDP?

Which party needs to rig in the North is it APC or PDP?
why do you think Orubebe was mad at the presidential collation center?

If PDP controls INEC, do you think some people from the south will ask for Jega‘s sack?

It is not about PDP or APC, the whole northern Nigeria has an agenda which the yorubas helped them to achieve & the USA knows that having worked with APC/North to remove GEJ they wont find it funny in Niger Delta.

The USA has an agreement with GMB/APC which i doubt GMB keeping to it. Therefore they need River State & Akwa Ibom two south south states that controls the highest oil wells in Nigeria. For these two states to be in the hand of the opposition is what the “EVIL“ country called the USA WONT FIND FUNNY AT ALL.

Congratulates Nigerians on peaceful election
Zacheaus Somorin

The United States Embassy in Nigeria has alleged electoral irregularities in Rivers and Akwa Ibom states.

In a press statement made available to THISDAY, while congratulation Nigerians on the governorship and House of Assembly polls, the embassy stated that the elections held in both states were inundated with irregularities.

"We have seen the reports of violence and alleged irregularities, particularly in Rivers and Akwa Ibom states", the statement added, calling on aggrieved parties "to pursue their grievances peacefully in the judicial arena".

While commending President Goodluck Jonathan and the President-elect, General Mohammadu Buhari, the embassy said it regrets any loss of life and destruction of property.

"We commend the leadership of Nigeria’s political parties, notably President Goodluck Jonathan and President-elect Muhammadu Buhari, for urging their supporters to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the electoral process", the statement added.

US therefore congratulated "the people of Nigeria and the Independent National Electoral Commission for an electoral process on April 11, 2015 that generally went well across the country and built on the success of the March 28 polling process".

they are talking nonsense. they are afraid that Nwike and his Akwa ibom counterpart will task their companies in these areas to take care of the communities where their oil facilities are... The should tell me where massive rigging didnt take place... why didnt they complain when even CNN beamed live coverage of under age children voting in Kano and other places on March 28th... USA hypocrites

The 144k votes is the number of registered voters and there is no way the turnout can be anything near 70% which is 100k. If what I hear is correct, the LG involved is Rochas stronghold and as such there is no way PDP can catch up with him anymore.

Rochas will be declared winner of Imo election.
i wish them luck.

I wantyouto know that this battle will be stiffer than the normal election. It isnow 2parties affair. Dont forget that this same rescheduled election brought Rochas to power in 2011.

i am among those that said it. I have no regret whatever for saying it. I am a man to have taken a stand & stood by it.

This election have made me to LOVE GEJ more than ever before.

Since GEJ took over, our electoral system have been getting better per day.

Where were international community when OBJ was killing, maiming & robing people off their votes.

All thanks to GEJ who gave Jega free hand to conduct election as independent body.

if it were to be APC, will you ask this same question?

Like in Imo state- in 2011 Rochas came in with suplementary election after the election was decleared inconclusive & this time around; election has also been decleared inclusive again. Does it mean the Rochas is the one that master mines that to favour him as the last one favoured him?

Think about it.

you are in for a greater suprise.

PDP didnt deny us state police, the north did. You will get the shock of your life when the next NAS Members will start work. Because for every northerner, their first interest is to protect “the northern agenda“.

Even if GMB agrees with Tinubu on state police, the law makers will not allow the bill to pass second reading. Remember that we all believe that GMB is not corrupt so am sure he wont go to national assembly with ghana must go bags the way OBJ did to woo them on his side.

The change you people asked for is here. The only challenge now is that we dont know which side it will go.

But do not put your life on something like; state police, devolusion of power from the centre & P.I.B into law. Anything that will reduce nothern “dominancy“ in NIGERIA will not see the light of the next minute.

You be M U M U. BIIIIG MU MU, You are not using ur brain at all.

For your mind you believe that the north (Buhari) will stay only 4years in Aso Rock. After staying out of power for almost 16years. You better open your eyes.

You thing Ndi Igbo do not know the plan of the north not even APC. The north will rule NIGERIA for 16years before any other region will see Aso Rock again.

Even if GMB says he wont contest in 2019, the north will bring someone else and shift their support to another party. For the north, NORTHERN AGENDA has nothing to do with any party. Stay there!

As for Rochas, lolzzz. The most untrusted Governor in Igboland. Rochas does not have any appeal whatsoever in Igbo land. He is considered a traitor & a sabo. Before you people said Ngige has national appeal.

Even if Rochas has any appeal; Ndi Igbo do not like APC. and no one can force APC down our throat.

Ndi Igbo is either APGA or PDP. We gave Alhaji El-Idris Rochas Okorocha mandate through APGA he decamped to APCheats.

Let him go to ABJ and rule alongside GMB. Ndi Imo (Igbo) do not need him again.

incumbent Deputy Speaker, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha with 324,486 votes.

Politics › Re: 5 Things Igbos Won From 2015 Elections by Chigold101(m): 7:59pm On Apr 12, 2015
Ikengawo:
With the elections at an end the word on everyone tongue today is Igbo. From uncertainty about the 'fate' of an oppositional Igbo people in a Nigeria ruled by APC. I'm confident that there's nothing to 'fear' about APC being in power because I believe they will follow the example created by GEJ of politics without bitterness. Moreover, no group in Nigeria has gained more politically in the past 5 years than the Igbo people. I say this because though few of us are keen to this habit, I like to keep myself familiar with the past to contrast it with the present. In the recent past were were fragmented, disunited and voiceless at the center. Today I present the gains we have made in the past few years that has made the Igbo people today's political epicenter.

Rekindled Alliances: Our ability to stay focused on the original adversary to our progress not just as a tribe, but as a region, allowed the
South South which is typically inconsistent to inessence 'see the light'. It also allowed may Igbos to let bygones be bygones the business environment in Nigeria improved under GEJ. Igbos related to the witch hunting, envy and sabotage against GEJ and rallied to support him. At the same time the South South saw this gesture and past transgression from both regions were left as water under the bridge. With an increase of awareness in the south south and an increase in forgiveness in the south east, the Eastern alliance is back. An honorable mention goes to the eastern middle belt which is also firmly pro-PDP as wel.

PDP: Without a doubt Igbos now have a major party that represents and protects their interests. In the past Igbos were a marginal part of all parties in Nigeria except their own APGA. With APGA and PDP allying and Igbos staying loyal to the new PDP built be GEJ, PDP has come of age. Most importantly the exodus of tribalist elements from the SW and North have left the incredibly powerful wide spread machinery of the PDP in Igbo hands as the part reforms to be more technocrat based and the home of fair ethical politics. Today Igbos have a steer and undeniable leadership and equity in Labour, PDP, APGA, and increasingly the APC.

Lagos seats: It is clear that the presence of Igbos in Lagos has reached a level of discomfort for Yorubas (primarily non indigenous yorubas) that even a royal monarch feels the threat of consolidated Igbo domination. While Igbos didn't come to Lagos to dominate, Their successes and presence has been rewarded by the election of multiple Igbo men and women into the Lagos assembly, making Igbos to only ethnic group to win elections outside of their ethnic region. Today the elections of Yoruba Jimi Agbaje and Yoruba Ambode is left with Igbos being the primary focus of discussion but a fearful APC and the lagos populace as a whole because the force of our will has been shown in our electoral victories.

Unity: For the first time in years Igbos are one. We speak with one voice. We went to the polls for one man. the Igbos in the PDP are allies with those in APGA, those in APGA are allies with those in PDP. Delta Igbo and South East Igbo are by the day not see as two separate things. Our vision and focus is now clear and more united than that of any group as Igbos are now seen as the bedrock of power for the east region, the PDP, and the Nigerian economy.

Political Maturity: As a mark of pride, the SE was the only violence free region during the entire 2015 campaign era. Under GEJ our gubernatorial elections have been conducted effortlessly. People are happy with results and because the voice of the people is now king the 'vassals' installed on us by former military rulers are all gone. Today all Igbo leaders are their own man, like them or not, as opposed to the 'boys' of military men.

Don't take this personal. It's all about learning lessons in life and not repeating the same mistakes. The whole Agbaje thing was very silly of him and those supporting him. You do not go to another community and publicly insult their monarch - even if the monarch was clearly wrong.
it was never about Agbaje & am sure you dont know that.
Let me ask you... Before now how many house of rep members that rep lagos in abuja are igbos? None... But today igbos have four in lagos state.

How many do igbos have in lagos state house assembly? We dont know yet until after the collation of saturday‘s election.

Igbos lost nothing. Igbos gained so much. -because taking 4seats is not an easy fit.

As Ndi Igbo being in opposition lolzzz... Igbos have always been in opposition.

It is only in the return of this democracy that Igbos joined the party at the centre because many igbo politicians were amongst those formed the party in 1998.

Take it or leave it. PDP still remain the only party with die hard grassroot supporters...(i hope u even understand politcs).

Now if in your village, your traditional rulere insults people and they keep quiet. In Igboland it is not so. Our traditional ruler do not insult indigines & insulting a stranger is an abormination. In Igboland a stranger must be protected. That is why we dont kill hausas anytime our people are killed in the north.

Chukwuani will kill you if as an igboman you kill a stranger that lives in ur land
