190: I dunno wat 2sayFor once I agree with you, but I'll try to say something anyway. @OP, you sound like a big joker. So you called your guy after hearing what he did, and all you asked him was; 'did u do it'? Then you turn around to ask us a million dollar question; 'why did he do it'. You're not even asking for a way forward in this situation(even though kind hearted NLers are helping you with some). If you find out WHY he did it, what will you do with that info? Anyway, I pray NL keep telling you what to do because if you really need answers to that question, I can give you hundred reasons why he did it! |
Where are u in abj? |
My only prob is Egusi soup. But if it's to cook rice concoction, I no go carry last
To me, that's one of the easiest soups to cook even for men. I believe there should be a thread for it somewhere here. Search for it or get the maggi cook book. |
razznaija: I'm a foodie, i cook a lot and i can cook any type of food ( if i follow the recipes carefully). Now for the life of me, i cannot bake a cake properly, there's always comma. its either i did not put enough butter, i did not whisk the eggs properly, i did not put enough sugar, or i did not put enough baking powder. There's always something wrong with my pastries, I'm not going to lie, i do tend to not follow all of the instructions properly, but even when i do, it still comes out with a comma. Is there any recipe that you can never get right, even afters several attempts?Nice thread. In cooking or baking, you shouldn't rely on recipes. I don't quite get my cakes perfect all the time, but I don't follow recipes always. Even if you follow it EXACTLY, it'll still have flaws. I suggest you get the major steps and ingredients into your head(which I assume u already have), then as you bake, you make adjustments on your own based on what you like. One distinguishing fact about good cooks is their ability to introduce new(their own) ideas. And that's why there are different recipes for doing the same thing. You just get the basics and follow your culinary instincts. Trust me, your cake might come out better than the ones with laid down 'rules' and 'steps'. Try to add and/or remove from the recipes, take note of your step, ingredients and their quantities, and after baking, you take not of what's in excess or not then adjust. Next time, don't follow the recipe exactly as it is, make adjustments from your head. After all, you never knew how good or bad the cake in the recipe tasted. |
mercifull: I need help on how to cook cowleg to be very soft.Is there anything I can put to make it cook faster?its finishing my gas.A good point from van909. In addition to that, when you go to buy, ask for a male cowleg instead of female. The female is always tougher and takes time to cook. Also, you don't quite season it like you do other parts/types of meat. Salt toughens it like hell. You should cook with just water till its tender before you season. |
funmikosoko:Why bother? Didn't you see his name? |
ifeness: That is why most women make friends with gay guys. Where i work, the gay guys are very focused on their jobs, they don't bother about ladies. I see my female colleagues having open conversations with them.....unlike Nigeria where they would be stoned to death or imprisoned. The fashion and beauty industries in England are now being dominated by gay men. I would definitely trust my wife to make friends with one.By the time your wife becomes their reason for going straight, you'll wake up. |
chronique: Guy,why u dey dull like this? D gal yab u for here to quell any suspicion and quietly gave u audience. Instead make u follow up,you come dey show me screenshot of pm;wetin u say make I do wit am. Instead make u dey run unda g things,u dey cry say dem call u mumu. Na wa for u o. If all of us complain about babes wey call us mumu,e mean say we nor go ever see..... @ijeoma okeke: abeg nor vex;he still needs extra coaching. We've detected some factory errors in his assembling and we'll work on him to present you a real man. Sorry for the embarrassment. |
uboma: @ chikk, i will remove the PM as soon as Ijeoma Okeke apologises to me first.Tor! @ijeoma okeke, over to you oh. |
Kai! @Uboma, pls, edit that ijeoma's PM pic abeg. I use God beg you @OP, result to hello-hi kind of greetings. No chit chats. But the fact is, its only when they get close that they can ask to sleep with you. They can't see you for the first time and make such requests, and not from a distance too. You shouldn't get too close to them or allow them to, as a married woman. Another thing is that You probably smile a lot at them, crack some kinda jokes, or give them some impression that you're up for grabs(even if its a misinterpretation of actions). Though some stu*pid men can ask a woman for sex even without knowing her, but for EVERYMAN you meet to ask you for the same thing, look around you, its probably your fault. |
190:You're derailing this thread ![]() |
Madam, I think you're possessing of expression and/or comprehension challenges, I mean problems, as well. To begin with, your opening post reeks of sanctimony, and on such a matter as this it only tells of the limit(ations) of your level of exposure. I guess you're feeling disappointed that I'm not joining your holier-than-thou brigade. You seem to know better than a man who's got children your age on the emotions child rearing elicit and you don't think that's oversabi? Yet you want to mingle with reasonable and advanced people? Abeg park well. No time for rubbish.
Hmmmm. I don't get u at all. I aked a simple question: is child education an achievement or a responsibility to parents? Jeez can't you answer straight? What has that got to do with emotions of child rearing? Simply say its a responsibility, an achievement or both! That's all. Abeg o, don't even for a second think that you're one of them when I say 'advanced people' because if you were, you will respect yourself. If you've got noting reasonable to say, please, I beg of you, quietly un-follow this thread |
Why the hell can't this senator's name be published If this story is true? |
@OP, I think your challenge is that you have no children and are probably still a dependant even. As @Mutter has said, it's both a responsibility and an achievement. It's a responsibility in that, the parents owe it to the child to provide them with the tools of self awareness, self discovery and self-sustenance when they are old enough(nobody wants to babysit a 30 year old). It's also an achievement to the degree that educating an individual is a complicated task, either by providing the education itself or by providing the means for said education to happen. And then considering that students, even high school students, drop out all the time, I would be proud of an educated child. I might not have an orgãsm, but I'd be proud. Now, I don't know the background these men come from, but if they feel ecstatic about performing a good, noble, worthy deed, who are you to begrudge them. Oversabi will not kill this generation
Oga, if you had read my post well, you'd understand that it has nothing to do with me personally. What you should do is simply state your opinion with reasons and leave it at that! What brought about over sabi, being childless and dependent? And to think that you see a challenge in this post?? Na wa o! I thought people in this section are more reasonable and advanced, thus I respect them, but I just can't believe you said those! The post has nothing to do with me. Its just happenings around people I know and I brought it here to get people's view on it. So why attack me? Do I know you from anywhere? Or you just feel like insulting someone? |
Rubbish on a sunday morning. The girls are coming to feast on you, Op.
![]() |
dBard: Sorry f d generalisation but I still stand by my point..which is d primary, not only reason.Ehen!!!! See?? Now you're talking!!! I don't doubt that some women can be stu*pid sometimes by expecting their men to cheat, neither do I doubt you that most times, women are to be blamed for their men's infidelity. And that's why I opened the thread: www.nairaland.com/1260626/how-stop-man-cheating |
You're not married yet and you already think this way? You've embraced divorce, accepted defeat and already given up on the fight to make your marriage work, Even as you're yet to enter into the institution? Hmmmm, as a man thinketh bro, so it shall be for him o, better think right I just wanna answer your topic question straight not minding what the body of your post is. Divorce is never an option because what God has joined together, NO MAN should put asunder. And by 'man', you and your partner are inclusive. #disregard this if you're an atheist. |
dBard: @chikk. Take a deep breath before u pop a vessel.I would have agreed with your post 100% if not for the generalisation. Please, how can you generalise all women based on a couple of experiences you had in the past? Have you sampled ALL women? You sound a lot like wackyJ1, except for the fact that you believe in one primary reason why men cheat(not that there aren't more) and that adds to another reason why men cheat - pride and ego(that is; 'because they believe the tradition permits them to') please, someone tell that to Mr WackyJ the NL oldie. I'm a newbie so I can't! |
WackyJ1: I don't hate women just the way they act sometimes.I'm not here to argue or compete with you. I still maintain that if as a man, the ONLY reason you think men cheat is for variety(for married men) and backup for singles, then I have nothing to say to you. |
190:Your case dey court, I swear! What's funny? |
Flytefalls: I'm your cousin from nowNo babe, chill. I'm his cousin. For real. Na you still be the.... ![]() |
this is serious
Can't u just remain hidden? |
190:Good! U dislike me, I dislike u. So can we leave it that way? I promise I won't quote u again |
190: Thats why you dislike me dont youYeah. I do |
190:Moon man, where did you get that statistics from? Source please ?? See you asking for mercy in advance. Sorry for you.Nigerian girls are bad, I'm a nigerian girl. Therefore, I'm bad. That's a deductive reasoning. Don't expect me to be good. I won't curse you though, 'cos I'm sure u know what you're doing. Carry on. |
