*** In Shem's voice*** You see, ##Clears my throat## I dont want to say any one now and later my Oga At The Top will say another. |
@Berem,Abagworo and other political leprosy patients i have one word for you today, Rochas will be humilated out of office come 2015. In the full glare of the eyes, you still resort to sycophancy and bottom licking even as youths Berem i feel sorry for the unfortunate man that will walk you down the altar cos i see no repute at the mention of your name.@Chino I will blame your parents for consumating lust procreating and begetting a huge slowpoke, the probably should have saved the world this unfolding disaster. |
The picture you see is the laying of stonebase of about 25cm thickness before asphalt... Commendable. |
...good |
@Onyegecha I commend you for being counted on the side of the truth. One of the reasons Imo will find difficulty in governance is because there are more sycophants than the rest of the population. Ohakim was my mother's relative but that didnt stop me from participating in processes that ousted him. @Abagworo if you were a civil engineer just like myself you will see that Rochas worsen the state of Okigwe urban roads in the name of dualization. Using a 5cm thickness kerb for the median of a major highway lives much to ponder over. Take a trip to owerri-aba road and see for yourself the first of its kind in the whole world, dualization of the second busiest road in imo state done with cement blocks!!! I have said it times over that its only orlu road dualization that i can call i signature project in imo state. Take a trip to enugu and see what arab contractors is turning the metropolis into within record time. |

@Abagworo I feel sorry realising how gullible you present yourself. Please clearly state one signature project by Rochas outside the dualization of orlu township roads You have sold your soul for a pot of porridge and in due time you will cry out loud in pains. Rochas has succeeded in crippling the economic base of Imo state. Please find time to verify the identity of the contractor handling the chinese resturant in mbari of course its a 28 year old female relative of Rochas. Painfully there is no development blueprint for planning in Imo state. Today he scratches here, the next day he demolishes it. I feel touched to see that some people have chosen to remain adamant in their folly. |
@zet I do not say any of this on my own, but a collective perception by every Igbo man including yourself that is if you are not an outcast in igboland. The people of old owerri province in the 17 century recieved the first form of material education through the missionaries and anchored their development on human capacity improvement. If your skull is not made of walnuts i'm sure i just educated you. |
@Igbo son and asha Let me give you few examples why i said Imo is plunging into the hands of despots. In 2010 Ohakim designed a new government house that was well structured and planned by the then contracting firm Arab contractors commissioned to construct it for 3 reasons; 1. To decongest the old owerri city 2. To open up new layout at the well planned new owerri city for investors to leverage on its location to develop a world class city comparable with the greater ph city as envisaged. Such investors were to invest in hospitality and tourism, waste mgt, construction of a private uni, shopping malls, markets, housing estates and development of mixed plot for networth individuals. 3. To make running of govt business to be easier since most govt agencies were located at that axis of the town. Infact a world class conference centre was even constructed and named Ahiajoku convention centre. Unfortunately Rochas cancelled the well thought out plan and rather started building in the the already congested old govt house. He even built a conference centre in the centre of the over populated heart of owerri. He is even saying the Ahiajoku CC that is second to the city hall in lagos will be turn to a shopping mall. I'm saddened by all these, because i was part of the team that designed the new govt house which would have allowed for a huge departure from the congestion we experience in owerri today. |
Let words go to Ndi-Igbo from states outside Imo State to be resonable while commenting on issues concerning Imo State. I think Imo deserves all the respect and honour it demands, being the cradle of ancient and mordern civilization in the old eastern region. Its not a myth, but a real truth verifiable. |

@Chino I will advise you for the last time to stop mentioning Obi's support as what made Rochas governor. Anambra is governed by a woman (Mrs Peter Obi) and we Imolites get offended each time you attribute the emergence of Rochas as governor to that hermaphrodite. |
@Igbo son The aforementioned projects in my last post have all been started but the stages at each site is not encouraging. I was at the site of the 23 floors 5-star hotel in owerri costing 19billion, the 12 storey shopping mall costing 3billion, the tallest tower costing 14.5billion and the 16 floors residential estate costing 10billion and the were all at the toothing stage since last 2 years november even after the governor claimed his govt has paid 40% of the contract sum which even contravenes our procurement law in nigeria... You can now see why my anger boils. |
I just ordered a 40 feet container loaded with tinned tomatoes from italy. I believe the demand will even increase as 2015 approaches. The man is gradually plunging Imo into a state despotism. We dont hear of the 23,16&14 floors set of hotels, 16 floor residential towers, Airport terminal, 27 general hospitals, tallest tower in africa, 12 floors shopping mall, multistorey carpark bla bla bla. Let the Despot just finish his 4years and get out for more responsible leaders to emerge. |
Abuja of course. Lagos is the yoruba capital of the world, ph is taken over by my igbo brothers while kano is fast turning into the violence capital of the world with hausa as the language of violence. |
Fufu is an igbo food and therefore shouldnt be transferred to ghana and congo. She is only butressing the bitter truth that she is of the igbo bloodline and thats why she is beautiful. If you doubt me, ask flavour n'abalia. |
Its false. |
Tattered flag We expected it... Jonathan and Sambo were once a children. |
It will take a proactive change from the governor and his accomplices to win the confidence of Imo people. Coming back from his money laundering business to offer 200k to the man he nearly killed is suicide itself. Fortunately that can't melt the ingenuity and creative spirit of Imolites. |
Berem now i see where the smoke comes from and the reasons you will remain a blind supporter of Rochas. Poor girl i understand you benefited from the free uni scam promoted by your brother cum international fraudster. |
The images you saw are just a mimic of the rest. Find more about the rolling hills of obudu, oguta wonderlake, ogbunike cave, games reserve in taraba, manbila plateau in adamawa. Beautiful, undulating and revealing... Nigeria is really a tourism hub ready to explode. |
@Asha I remembered saying that there were plans to develop 8 mini cities outside owerri, orlu and okigwe (ahiara, okpala, akokwa, nwaorieubi, mgbidi, anara, mgbirichi and new owerri)which was an information i got directly from an aide of the governor. 7 of those cities were even pronounced moyoral districts with mayors appointed. My perception about this government changed after my easter break visit to Imo. Now listen clearly and quote me correctly, NO ROAD UNDER CONSTRUCTION BY THE GOVERNMENT OF OKOROCHA IS WITH DESIGN,TENDERS & BIDS except the dualization of the orlu township roads which only has a design. Even the inner ring road started by Ohakim with beautiful walkways, medians, streetlights and greens at the right of way has been abandoned by this son of the old religion. He must be replaced by any competent Imolite period. |
Okorocha is gradually realising that the polity is no more anchored on freebies and photo shots with leprosy patients. Imolites are gradually recovering from the deceit he attempted to plunge the state into. With the news that he ordered an arrest of the man he nearly killed via accident, you can now see reasons why i call him the rutherless governor. Come 2015, we the progressives from the state will sweep him and his toilet cabnet out from Douglas house. Prehaps to continue his philantrophic gesture this time in a geniune way. |
@Chino Just shut your smelly mouth when Imolites talk!!! Can your state in the next 10years record 86% literacy population like Imo. We suppy intellectual manpower while Anambra prides itself as the world refuse capital cortesy of Onisha... *** pris(Please) continue to rove(love) your state** |
I recommend one more scan for his empty skull to ensure he comes home to do the right thing. If i may ask, which projects are Rochas inspecting I laugh each time i read on the pages of the paper that he is on road inspection. Outside the dual-carriage roads in orlu by his govt every other project has no design or competent contractor handling it. Imagine the poo he calls dualization along owerri aba road using cement blocks in place of kerbs. Suprisingly you see bats like berem to his defense. |
A commitee led by Peter Obi I expect nothing less than this crap. Imagine pumping such billions into developing industrial towns like Ijebu-ode, Aba, Auchi, Suleja, Otukpo. Japan will come for lessons. |
Wonders shall never end. Imagine naive Police Coporal turn Governor ass licker cum Presidential house boy flex fragial balls with a strong voice like Amaechi. I hope his SA on rumour mongering is empowered to work in every state government house... |
Rochas and his cut and join politics. I really wish people can see beyond the freebies given by this governor and vote this set of blind people out. I expected Rochas to leverage on the advantage of having a literate population in Imo state to build an enduring economy. Infact only with indigenous investors like Paschal Dozie, Tony Ezenna, Leo Stan Eke and other networth Imolites in the diaspora he would have created an economy similar to what the asian tigers evolved into. Free education, free kerosene, free kpofkpof, free this free that... Rutherless governor i call him. |
Rochas has many good ideas but its either misplaced or ill conceived. I learnt 27 general hospital (one in each LGA) is under construction, when we have 13 existing genaral hospitals and about 400 healthcare centres. I expected he build something like a 12 storey specialist hospital with helipad on top for emergency to promote health tourism. This would be managed by a competent health institution body known around the world. In addition to that he would have equipped all the existing hospitals to enhance their operations. Unfortunately, Imo state has a rutherless governor. |
It is laughable when people include enugu on the list. Outside cosmetic touches in enugu and nsukka the okpa spirit lives on. Akwa Ibom should be included but not before Lagos, Anambra, Rivers, Ogun, Edo, Delta and kano. Development is not about the flyovers and roads but the commercial transactions, road interconnectivity, literate population and standard of living as the measuring index. You may include provision of basic facilities in rural areas by govt and individuals as a yastic. Imo has a huge urban and semi urban population rested on the one city drive by the govt. Litracy level in Imo is mind bugging ( about 83%) highest in west and central africa according to UNESCO. With the insane development of cities in Imo state ( about 11 of them) its sure the are ready for the top. Cross River is just one big joke. Outside Calabar the state capital, lions and reptiles rule the the state. |
@Okija juju Beer palour journalism i call it. These born to rule virgin hunters should let that woman be afterall she is not a virgin. I expect them to assemble a crack team comprising of egg heads and best brains from the north to help to revive the battered economy instead of engaging the minister in fruitless battles. |
Berem i feel sorry for the unfortunate man that will walk you down the altar cos i see no repute at the mention of your name.
