Is it possible to attend interview with i20 from spring semester for fall semester? My school is taking a while to issue the updates i20 and interview is coming soon.

my application was transferred that same day, I got notification in the afternoon it was transferred. Hoping for the best now

yes I got the email this morning. I also got updates all day through the process. I just feel a quick response time is not always good news. I sincerely hope not. I just have to wait till the passport is delivered I guess

I applied on Monday and I have already gotten email today to pick up. This is my second application. I addressed all the issues in the first application with more supporting documentation in this application. This was also the response time for the first one and I am now apprehensive about the outcome. Is it normal to receive an approval in 3 working day?

If you have not been rejected an F1 within the last 6 Months (according to the embassy policy) then your emergency appointment as a first timer will be granted .

Don't rely on what you are hearing , everyone knows that the population of applicants going to Abuja are lesser than the Lagos Applicants, therefore , Abuja will grant your EA if you do the needful.

If you still have the emergency option in your CGI portal and you have not cancelled an appointment before , and you have a longer months ahead of your resumption, you may go ahead and cancel Lagos and pick Abuja.

1. Your SEVIS payment receipt with your I 20 are the two documents the embassy requires for emergency booking .

Thanks so much for your inputs, unfortunately the sevis has still not reflected, and my school vacates for the holidays on Friday. In the event that it’s not uploaded and my school vacates, how will I get the confirmation? Am just trying to really stay positive. Paid the sevis fees since 1.12 😞😞.
I really hope I’ll even still get dates for EA.

I want to think that the payer bought a US drawn check or coupon worth of $350 and send it via ORDINARY MAIL (USPS) to SEVIS office . He should have even used EXPRESS DELIVERY .

In the future , try to persuade the payer to use WESTERN UNION ONLY because western union payment is almost instantaneous .

Your SEVIS payment coupon should deliver next week Tuesday (just guessing ) and it can even take SEVIS another 2 to 3 days to input your payment in their record .

Call or email SEVIS by next week Thursday , they will tell you if your record has been filed . Did the payer not snap anything like payment slip or the coupon to you before he or she dispatch it ?

Yes. I have pictures of the coupon and also able to track the package. Since last week it’s not been delivered. My main issue now is how to proceed to get a date for spring giving that I don’t have the sevis yet and I need to apply for an EA asap.

Someone helped me pay for the SEVIS from a pay point in the US since Dec 2. and sent the coupon and slip through USPS to Sevis office, up till now, the package has not arrived its destination.

My fear now is that this may take further time to process and I cannot even apply for EA without a sevis receipt. Please who has an idea of the average processing time before I receive the sevis receipt.

Guys please so advice will help. I have already received my study permit and have my flight initially scheduled for 17th Dec. In light of the looming travel ban that may be initiated especially with the omicron strain supposedly imported to canada by Nigerian Travellers, I reviewed my flight to this weekend. The thing is school resumes Jan 10th and my travel date is more than 4weeks which is the required travel time for students on IRCC website. Am i just being paranoid or is it still okay? I have completed one semester already in naija.

I want to enter the FSW pool before my program is done, finished my coursework just thesis now, can WES evaluate just my transcripts now is it acceptable? My crs score presently using the online tool is 475 and I lose points if I apply after my Next birthday, reason I want to apply soon.

Also, about the NOC List, am confused if it should be in line with educational progress. I am nominating database developer but am studying masters in medical informatics. Is it okay?

For working experience, can I use my work experience in Nigeria since I’ve not really done any professionally work here in Germany and which documents do I need to prove this? Waiting for opinions on this, thanks guys
