Good afternoon house.

I just got admitted to the MSc Economics programme of FSU, Jena and I have been trying to book appointment with the German embassy. I got this from there site: 'Registration to apply for a long term visa / more than 90 days for family reunion ONLY (NO STUDENTS / NO WORK PERMIT etc.)' Is this the new process to get appointment or the old method still works. Kindly help me out. The challenge I had last year was late admission.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT. THANKS
Congrats. Please when did you apply?

Goodmorning house. While sending documents to UniAssist via courier, is it advisable that I seperate the application forms of 2 different schools in my envelope by using 2 different envelopes inside a a main envelope? I'm also planning to pair with some people while sending
put all your documents in one envelope.

I don't think your approach was right, we are all one here, everyone has his or her own opinion, "put most successful students off track" I don't understand that statement, he said what he feels is the truth, this guy has finished studying and he is in DE, so he has his own opinion...what I notice in this thread is everyone love giving positive vibe, which basically is great...but things are not always rosy, anyone who says something negative or is not in accordance with the "positive flow" is immediately being shutdown and termed negative, the truth sometimes hurt, let allow people air their opinion, I have friends in Germany and they tell me certain things that are bad, but there are good parts too. And you taking sides based on inputs or contributions, I think its lame, we all are invaluable here, no one knows them all, if Mr A doesn't, Mr B will help.

Let's all keep the hussle on.

Thanks
Oga dey one side!
I choose positivity over negativity dunno about you and I suggest you read my post well before jumping into conclusions. He has not commented on this thread before to give us his "wealth" of information. The first post he made here was about the supposed segregation between universities and universities of applied sciences. If you feel you have information for the thread then share without creeping doubts into people's minds.

I really do not know but it could be because British council mails your result while IDP doesn't.

Everything you typed here clearly shows you are JJC .
You don't know anything and just running your mouth.
I can't be arguing with a student.

The earlier you drop this naivety and clear your eyes the better for you, if not you will spend years in Europe with nothing to show for it.

Like I always say, if you no sabi, ask question.
eem Oga! This is a student thread so obviously you will be arguing with students. I know your giving your own views but negetive vibes about DE like this may put prospective students off track. Everyone has his/her own path, your experiences and views may vary from another person's so that does not make yours superior. @honourableseyi is an invaluable member of this thread and his contributions here are priceless, something I cannot say about you (no offence). Germany is offering what our country can't offer so why not!! We shall see for ourselves!

Always read to learn and understand not read to reply or trying to be right. There is nothing like discrimination in the job market between University and Hoschule students as far as Germany is concerned. This is not Nigeria. There is nothing worst for anybody from 3rd world countries regarding jobs if you do what you are supposed to do at the right time. Germans are considered first, followed by the Europeans because that is the law of the land. It has nothing to do with disparity or school you graduated from. German Government made the law to protect its citizens. Also, European citizens have nearly the same right as the German citizens in most areas of life. Despite this law, people are getting jobs after study. In fact are you aware that companies in Germany are now hiring workers (without German Education) all over the world even from Nigeria? Also, I have friends that have graduated here in both University and Hoschule and have gotten permanent jobs. Stop confusing people on what you have little or no knowledge of and change your orientation that graduates from one University are tagged less intelligent than the others. This is a fallacy and has no element of truth. Finally, they are not giving you free Education in order to go back to your country after study, otherwise, they wouldn't have made a room for 18 months post study resident permit for you to look for a job in Germany. They would have said once you graduate, take the next flight just like the UK. They are giving free Education to attract professionals into their country to boost their economy and also prevent their social program from breaking down. Shalom
well said as always!

Please house just received this... How are my chances of getting admitted

Dear ........

This year again we had many more applications than available places in the "Applied & Environmental Geoscience" Master program.

We are writing to inform you that you have been given a place on the WAITING LIST for the program starting in October 2019.
But to be honest we should mention that, with respect to your position on the waiting list, chances for you to get a place are small.

In order to keep the processing time for waiting list candidates at a minimum, we need to know whether you would accept a place in case selected. Please confirm this with a short reply to aeg.msc@ifg.uni-tuebingen.de until April 30.

If you have any questions let us know.

Best regards,
Monika
please when did you apply?

Hi Guys , this is to clear the air about tuition fees as regards University of Tubingen. I applied for summer semester admission and when my admission letter came out it was stated on the admission letter that non-european students would have to pay tuition fees. However, I got a mail the following day stating that the fees have been waived. See mail below :
“Dear Sir or Madame
the University of Tübingen hereby certifies that you will be exempted from the tuition fees. This exemption applies to citizens of the Least Developed Countries (UN) and ACP Countries starting summer term 2019.
Please read the attached information / application letter, sign it, copy it as a PDF and send it to this email address….
Please present the document at our student administration office as soon as you have arrived at Tübingen.”

In summary it appears that Nigeria falls into “Least Developed Countries” and therefore, we are entitled to tuition fees exemption from the University of Tubingen.

does this apply only for summer term?

Haba. Start another master program?
PhD will be preferable.
You don't keep on rotating in one angle. You enter the next level.

Moreover, I am learning Deutsch with Duolingo and its really amazing.
Once I come here, I will channel over 60 percent of my energy to learning Deutsch and before I finish my MSc, I will be very fluent in it.
Another aspect is to work really hard academically and be among the best graduates with very high GP.
So that your GP coupled with your fluency in Deutsch will make you move mountain and even attract white Germans towards you for impregnation
Just negodu!!

Hi everyone,

I need your advice. Since Friday last week (15th March, 2019), I sent an email to The German embassy in Lagos with regards to applying for a student visa appointment as instructed on there website.

As expected, I wrote my full names and residential address in the body of the email and attached;

1. The Data page of my int'l passport

2. My University Admission Letter (Kiel University- Summer Semester 2019- Masters in Quantitative Finance)

3. My Fintiba Blocked account details, though not yet funded as at the time of sending the email.

Since then, I haven't gotten a reply from the embassy with regards to a scheduled interview date. Please do you guys think something is wrong and how long does it take for the embassy to reply once email?

Is their anybody on this platform that got masters admission for Summer semester 2019? If yes, Have you being granted student visa by the German embassy.

Finally, on my admission letter, The university wrote a clause which state that,

"You have to register at the International enter of Kiel University on the 5th, 11th, 18th, 25th, or 26th March 2019 between 9 am - 11 am. Please note that after 26th March 2019 enrollment will no longer be possible. If you have not enrolled until the end of period, the present admission will be declared null and void".

Based on this clause, do you think the embassy might see a challenge with it?
you cant make It for this Semester..that could bé why t'he consulate didnt get Back at you

When they say PMB has intergrity it si for things like this and others they really mean.
No PDP would allow INEC work without interference. Obasanja used INEC to forcefully reduce opposition states from 19 to 7.
Opposition controlled states increased through court orders not INEC's declarations under Yar' Dua and Jonathan. Jonathan's was even worse and will be rememvered for millitarising our elections to rig (the then already considered) PDP into power. And posterity will not forget his ignoble role in splitting NGF simply because Amaechi won him and his Jang guy in the NGF election.

Under this presidency, it can be seen that INEC is truly independent.
shatap my friend!
