SonofElElyonRet: Compliments of the season to everyone!
A pregnant woman due for delivery, bumps into a wall, hitting her head and losing consciousness. She regains consciousness after a while in the hospital and the nurse congratulates her for giving birth to twins, a boy and a girl. "Your brother named them while you were unconscious" she was told. "Oh, no. He's a "slowpoke". What names did he give them?", she asked. The nurse told her that her brother named the girl " *Denice* ".. "Hmmmm.. such a nice name", she said. "Maybe he's not such a "mowron" after all. What name did he give my son?" The nurse calmly replied... " *Denephew* ".. The new mum fainted...
A very important politician in government visited a remote village and asked the village chief what he could do to make their lives better.. "We have a primary health centre but no doctor", the chief said. Immediately the politician took out his gsm mobile phone, dialled a number and spoke on the phone. "Done! A doctor will arrive in few days. Any other problem I can help your people solve?", the politician asked. "Thank you. We have electricity but no transformers", the chief replied. Again the politician took out his gsm mobile phone, dialled a number and spoke on the phone. "Done! You'll have all the transformers you need by next week", he told the chief. "I have to start heading back to town now. Hope I've been able to solve all your problems". "There's just one more pressing issue" the chief replied.. "We have no phone reception at all in our village" Chief don hold politicians for balls.. eee go explain tire |

EDUECO: This ₦40 billion capital private placement is definately insiders or those close to insiders trying to get large shares of ACCESSCORP at cheap price!
Now I know why the price of ACCESSCORP went down from ₦28 to ₦20.
After the fund raising, the share price will definitely move from ₦20 to like ₦30. They have Kenyan bank capitalization compliance to meet as well. |

Itzlinda: "Dangote’s public spat with NMDPRA is not new. But this time, the industrialist has stepped a notch higher, accusing its chief executive of monumental corruption. He is not only fighting the oil mafia, but he’s up against the President’s family. Wale Tinubu, President Tinubu’s cousin, is one of Nigeria’s major fuel importers. His company, Oando Plc, posted a 44% increase in revenue to N4.1 trillion and N220 billion profit after tax in 2024. Although Oando reported that its refined product volumes had declined by 64% to 599 KMT due to ‘’shifts in Nigeria’s domestic supply framework’’, the company would not abandon that line of business just yet. Oando is not the only fuel importer. Others are NIPCO, Bovas Oil; Eternal Oil; A A Rano; NNPC and a host of others.
So the Engr Faruk is not the only one holding the line in the battle with Dangote. Hes the support of the president family. I really wonder how he is able to wield such influence. Well, Dangote said he's willing to fight dirty and that includes being petty $18-20bn Refinery na your mate? |

yMcy56: As I still dey fear to enter ABC to village, I say make I branch here.....
There's something every investor is still not looking at (aside "I told you so" )
NGX has a case to answer here ..... ** Why did they lift the suspension on Aso Savings in the first place? ** Why lift the suspension and place it again if they're not a party to robbing investors off? ** They seems to masterminded this luring people in ** Why did CBN not revoke this licence long ago? Or do they want to tell us it's oversight? ** Whose interest is CBN actually protecting? ** Whose interest is NGX/SEC actually protecting? ** Why can't CBN provide soft landing for investors by trying to see who can either merge or buy over the mortgage homes....just like the case of Unity Bank (like someone said) ?
* I'm almost agreeing with Streetinvestor2 here that this is becoming a disgraced nation......
** For the kind hearted ones that sympathize with us, may God bless you all. ** By God's grace, we will definitely weather the storm and come out stronger IJN. 🙏 #Hypothesis 1)AsoSavings was Kinda in bad shape on Both depositors fund and Shareholders Fund. Getting willing buyers to take over the bank could take time or hard to come by as it might become unsellable. But rather than revoke the licence that could cause both investors and depositors greater loss, suspension was initially lifted by NGX so AsoSavings could source funds from Ngx and come back strong gradually. 2) fortunately or unfortunately as the case may be, CBN and NDIC were probably gradually shopping for buyers and luckily for some and painfully for others they "might" have found a willing buyer!! Hence the CBN fell-back again to revoke the licence. This can "probably" be the case as the concurrent news of NDIC in the process of paying depositors almost followed the revocation of licence news. Please don't take this conspiracy conjecture theory seriously |

Caseless: A true royal father. That man has exceeded all expectations in terms of uniting Nigerians. Look at what he did with the refinery here, but Amosun as a governor, forced the project out of his own state, thereby denying Ogun the opportunity of getting revenue from the siting of such project. "thereby denying Ogun the opportunity of getting revenue from the siting of such project" Not Ogun but Ondo. |
