maasoap:OK. I get it. |
At least he seem to agree to Access @12...Lmao jonnysessy: |
maasoap:WHO had to lay off staff and cut some researches, projects as well. UNESCO is a charity organization from USA view . Adds no value to its school system. It's fundings and activities all over the world including Nigeria has reduced. WHO Head had to plead for USA to reconsider it's stance and position cuz no other nation has been able to fill it's funding void. They are feeling US absence and they are more redundant in activities and less visible in the media these days. |
Kingpele:To add: South Africa reach a consensus on climate Change while Nigeria reach a consensus of peace deals with bandits and also consensus on Banning schools.. Such great feat by both countries!! |
DiarisGodoo:I think Sex-urge has evolution for men folks at least whether pre or post (ask Ned ).For women, you may have a point to an extent; but miracles do happen(Sarah ).The world would have ended long ago if that's was the order of the day. My point is, most, if not all the right and perfect things in our genetic makeup contribute to the survival of the human specie. Any other aspect of ones genetic constituents thats either present or absent is probably a dysfunction that should be treated. If a young child doesn't have sexual orientation, it then contradicts the research that says it's been pre-determined from birth. It then supports the option that the child can choose his/her orientation at later years don't you think? 🤔 Also, as per your response how does a group of people without sexual orientation at pre-teen suddenly move to all sorts of orientation post-teen? You want to believe the gene all of a sudden just manifested the desires in them post puberty without external influences? I don't believe so. People tend to want to explore, then it leads to addiction then they tag it their identity (like even betting, drugs, etc. even create friends around such identity). Your cannibalistic example just kind of proves a case in point. If someone chooses to be cannibalistic where there are different varieties of food to choose from? isn't he/she abnormal or dysfunctional. Would you rather support the cannibalism with any ongoing researched thesis that says it's imprinted from birth, when it threatens the survival of its own specie? |
DiarisGodoo:Hmmm. Sexual orientation from birth. Never looked into this before. You have a point. That being said, let's look at the following living realities. 1) So how does a 2yr-12yr old child know his/her sexual orientation when at that age bracket, it's all pre-puberty. 2)Based on reality, There are stories of "supposed Homos" who still end up sleeping with opposite? what does it say? Where did such attraction come from all of a sudden? 3) also, I believe Vast majority of people in this category are more of sexual preferences(choose) than sexual orientation. 4) also, i tend to believe it's more of a genetic dysfunction(no insult intended) than a sort of birth-orientation. At the very least, without being biblical, It has no evolution reason, so to what end? ![]() More research will need to be done then. I think as these researches will be few and recent. Counter researches will exist. There isn't a general consensus yet I suppose. |
DiarisGodoo:You seem to be the one comparing apples and oranges. Being G*y is not an inborn gender like male and female. But you seem to want to classify it as a gender or so from your discuss. |
MaxInDHouse:OK Then. Thank you. |
MaxInDHouse:I don't get. I thought moses wrote just the first 5books.. The one the jews like to call Torah. |
MaxInDHouse:OK. Interesting. Any proof? |
MaxInDHouse:Do you know who might have written the book of Job? especially the first few chapters?. Job himself? ![]() |
DiarisGodoo:The other guy has answered you, it's mainly environmental influence. Let me add: If Messi or Ronaldo was born pre-soccer era in Argentina or Portugal. They will never have been passionate about football. If the wright brothers haven't invented the first Plane ✈, Nobody will be shouting passion to be a Pilot, passion to be an aeronautic Engineer, etc. As a rhetorical question to your question, why don't these professions influence everybody? Or without Soccer existence and media influence today, Messi would end up in a different field of life. |
I don't think fear of death is a criteria to proof sth exists after, just because one fears "death". Some people don't even fear death per se. I believe we have all experience a form of death when we sleep and blank out unconsciously. It's not sth to be fearful cuz we don't even feel it. 1) The First Fear of Death some say they have conquered is actually: Fear of unfinished plans, enjoyments and what becomes of dependants left behind in the living. This is what people who say they have conquered fear have actually conquered. 2) The 2nd Fear when it seems death is knocking is actually PAIN FEAR OF PAIN not fear of death itself. But physical and psychological pain(suffering). Because most death comes with some form of pain and suffering. Flight from pain is the human body's natural defence mechanism. Even Jesus had to cry unto God to please take away his coming pain and suffering in the garden of Gethsemene. Though ultimately submitting to God's will. I don't think anyone can easily overcome this 2nd fear. It takes a huge believe and faith to own up to whatever outcome and remain unshaken and unbroken. Fear of death is not a proof of afterlive. |
GeeKudi:True.. That's why I also said these days. Some rumors may not have proven true but hasn't entirely been disproved either convincingly. Whatever disease one thinks is unfathomable for one to suffer from should'nt cloud one's judgement when one sees symptoms. It could be true, it could be false, its unwise to dismiss outrightly, less it eats one up gradually. Diagnosis is recommended. |
Agbalowomeri:I think some will survive ![]() But the forks aren't helping either. |
brainhack:1)Some have intrinsic value as blockchain related products(Etherum and co). 2)Stablecoins(Tether) have also given the major ones some intrinsic valuations as users transfer to tether to hedge against real dollars stored in some treasury; legitimizing it also as means of exchange in the process with banked up storage. Though, i get you guyz point. Without established products and services, $0 might come knocking for most assets in a panic or bubble burst. But i think zero is highly unlikely especially for Bitcoin and Etherum at least with use cases. SEC just recently launched a Blockchain academy program with Cambridge university in Nigeria. |

Even wrong news on many occasions. But they have been right at times in some daring investigation news. I don't dismiss any rumour these days. |
stokfrick:The consumption is spreading. We can see it in how the bandits are becoming daring. -Taking pics and videos without trace. -Low livid petty thiefs around are now emboldened to graduate to the next level. -Today it's Bwari or so in FCT About 30 armed kidnappers inside someone's residence. Thank God for swift police response, it would have been the latest headline. The consumption effect is going to be a reality if nothing is done. Not the mantra of "its not my portion tales". |
zendi:Exactly.. Rubbishing our trillion-Naira-budget Military! |

zendi:It's a serious matter and we're all in it one way or another. There isn't any lie in what you wrote. There are leakages and backed-facts. It means Terrorist_Informants WITHIN the Nigerian Military needs to be expunged FIRST. Otherwise we will all be running in cycles in fighting EXTERNAL threats. |
zendi:Counter Note: this comment speaks to Nigeria as the country. ![]() |
jonnysessy:I don't think it has been removed. The Punch reported a sentence as such. But reading further in context, I think he meant to younger people. Discouraging them from crypto and swaying them to NGX with the tax rated at PIT rate, most of them would even be taxed free. He was quoted as using the term "virtually" everyone is tax free This aligns with his usual phrase of 97% or 98% are tax exempt, bla bla bla... There are actually 2punch reports. Compare https://punchng.com/capital-gains-tax-to-make-market-more-competitive-investor-friendly-oyedele/ to https://punchng.com/virtual-currency-now-taxable-capital-market-gains-remain-tax-free-oyedele/?amp |
Agbalowomeri:yes..10.5 bottom. ![]() ".5" is to avoid being too bearish.lol. #cruise ![]() |
treasureboy09:That is how the report and journalists presented the news. Shaping your(public) opinion to one-sided from the get go. You could be right. But don't beat your chest about it 100%. The commander must have submitted his report and the Army in collaboration with other soldiers at the scene must have validated the situation. Not every act of retreat is cowardice. Some cowardice in life could be wisdom at that very moment. But the Soldier shouldnt be dismissed not even to the extent of doing it in a criminal like manner. His natural instincts might have taken over. The Army F. Up there if the soldiers account is true. |
Artiiclebeast: ![]() eee get as eee be but obedience to hierarchy is the first and last order in military. Many soldiers have resentment for their bosses. Outright disobedience crosses the line. It puts the group at risk and shows psychological tilt against hierarchy. Besides the commander is in a better position to decide, it could be a case of live to fight another day.. But the Army shouldn't have dismissed outrightly. They should have transferred him to another commander or punish him severely in guard room for some time to deter others. A few good eggs willing to fight this terrorist is more of a bigger asset and top priority than a disobedience that might just be naive mind learning on the job.. |
Streetinvestor2:Waste management. Servicing oil companies in PH and of recent Delta. Still on growth section of NGX. Not yet migrated to equity section |
