SohSoh: News that came out 4 days ago you are adding it too something that i was posting about 2nd to 4th of June
You can see that alot of you just want to write anything even if it related to it or not.... i very sure you don't understand... like i said if you weren't here you weren't here.... OGA REST !!!!! English again... correct. Yes. news 4days ago no doubt. But how would they have easily moved the SP close to ₦50 from ₦29-30 this August given it's low OS & illiquidity if insiders didn't start much earlier. That's why I referenced UBA-->Move the price, then release equity proposal. At least you didn't dispute the first with your saying "no news" |

SohSoh: When i came here to promote Mecure... there was no talk of Pharma sector here ... when i started posting Mecure.... everyone that replied to my post... was writing Fidson was a better buy .... some came with analysis... and that same period .... Fidson went up, no news nothing... the price went up..... so yes na my post about Meucre make Fdison go up...... I would say coincidence @best. 1) Dangote talked about medical tourism around the time. (health, pharmacy related) There was even a rumour of Dangote pharmaceuticals coming up 2) Plus a company seeking equity raise of ₦30bn, raising OS by 300million will want to issue the additional shares @₦50 SP; hence insiders would also have moved the stock closer to Its destination much earlier like UBA did. |

crownprince2017: a N314.91 million net monetary loss in line with IAS 29 was reported as a result of the hyperinflationary environment in Ghana. However, it was an improvement to the N756.60 million loss reported in Q1’25, reflecting moderation of inflation in Ghana
Can someone please help me interpret the above statement I got from Cardinalstone analysis of presco.
I want to make sure we on the same page It's same thing with Nigeria from 2023. High inflation triggered Naira devaluation with respect to dollar inflows in companies leading to forex losses in 2023 & 2024. Same scenario is playing out in Ghana I think. High inflation is affecting returns(net payables and receivables) but it's drastically reducing and nomalcy seems inview(from 756m to 314m) just as our own Naija forex volatility has stabilised. #myview |

We4all: Did the baby recognize him too? The story was twisted. She wasn't killed in the toilet. The kidnapper invaded the school and kidnapped them. So, killing the victims had nothing thing to do with the nurse recognizing him. ? From the story, the baby was kidnapped for more ransom. If you had limited your post to the baby, I would probably ve agreed with you; they shouldn't ve killed it(baby). Even at that, screams of toddlers could expose them. But the nurse knows the kidnapper. So it didn't matter whether she was killed in toilet or taken away. I believe that was the target. To Kill. he must ve shown his face somehow even if there was a story-twist. I am reacting to how the story was reported. No attempt to hide his face. I don't know if any story-twist was involved. |

We4all: Hmnn..this news finally made it here. Ironically, the boy's grandma was my mom's colleague. I heard they plucked out the woman's eyes after killing her. I am still trying to understand the motive behind killing them and I still don't get it. This is because they were killed before they called the family to demand for ransom. I think it was more of a rituals related murder. The motive behind killing them is obvious na.. It's obvious the woman will recognize and report him. She knows him already before he lured her to the toilet. He didn't mask his identity in the First place. |

mikeapollo: Those huge costs of sales are not from the drilling costs (E&P segment) . They are mostly costs of sales from the trading segment (i.e. the cost of crude purchases), which usually produces losses or very low margins for Oando.
The negative gross margin might have been caused by the combined effect of very little drilling activity (E&P) an higher losses from trading activity in Q2 Hmmm.. Cost of Crude purchases Could it be part of shipping agreement cost which they signed; an MOU with NNPC and the Saudis much earlier in the year to ship crude as middle men to the Arabs preferred global destination? |

GeeKudi: Yes. H1 not really bad but the Q2 is disturbing. What could make cost of sales overshoot revenue? What sort of inefficiency is that? I read through the report to see if they have a note of explanation for that bloated cost of sales but couldn't find any. Sometime last year, they stated they were investing in AI to reduce exploration or rigging cost. They know it's an issue. I just hope it's part of their CAPEX this year so as to increase bottom line upcoming years. |
