Correction. insert unit.
32.18cm² (2 d.p) or 32.2cm² (3s.f) or
32cm²
(since qtn parameters are in whole numbers)
Like I said, @rickyboss333, mine is longer.. but geometric theorems can come in handy when data parameters are scarce...
Also, Approximation varied our answers slightly in qtn 2. (36.87°≈ 37°)
All the same, urs is more efficient. smiley

Forum GamesRe: Transliterations Of "Na Dem Dey Rush Us" by chimex38:
Transliteration Vs Translation
Na them they rush us can mean two things even in the vanacular form it is being used. E.g as a Noun
(1)
Mum: Tobi, why u forget ur school bag?
Tobi: Na them dey rush us for school sey make we go house when I bin dey play ball for field.

(2)..As a Verb.
mum: Tobi, u know sey we no get much customers, so when you get chance from the typing business today, distribute the flyers, mount the billboard and display the barners where them suppose be.. u hear?
Tobi: Yes ma'am.
mum: Why u no do as I tell u for morning?
Tobi: I bin no get time, na customers Oo, na them they rush u now

In view of the above,
Transliteration is simply to find that single English wordings that would fit into this two scenario
Translation will involve to choose any of the two(2) scenarios above and find the most suitable English wordings that perfectly or closely represents each of them.

One will therefore, end up with 1 transliteration and 2 translation.

My Interpretations goes thus:
Transliteration: They are the ones rushing us
Or It is they that rush us

Translation: They are the ones persistently coming at us..

You don't need buy in primary market and sell in secondary market. Primary is for heavy investors 50m and above . but because many people who want to invest in TB may not have such amount, that was why government through CBN make provision for secondary market , to enable people that have below 50m to invest on TB. it's CBN that's handle both primary and secondary market not individual .
OK.. Thanks for clarity..
Just to be clear, so if I buy from secondary market, I can also resell to another secondary buyer abi?

No Sir, but I thought any amount above 100k is good?
My initial qtn lies in how the interest made when sold in the sec. market at a discounted rate are calculated?

Please house, if I bought TB at 13% and I didn't wait until maturity before selling in the secondary market at 11% .. would I make a profit from the low rate?
Considering I sold about 50 days to maturity for a dull tenor(364) days..

To break it down, i would gain 13%* 1000000=N130,000 as interest..
On selling 50 days to end of tenor, that interest will be reduced by 130,000*50/364=N17,857.14..
Meaning I would be left with=N112,142.857(excluding transaction charges).
My qtn is, where does the extra interest come in by selling at 11% in the secondary market?
Thank you..
Other experts can assist me on this, thank you.

You will make profit but not as much as you will gain when you wait till the maturity period.
Thank you for the replies @jolyment and colourich..

THANK YOU FOR PUTTING NIGERIA IN GOOD SPOTLIGHT!!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING NIGERIANS PROUD!!

EducationNigerian Academic Doctor Wins Best Article In Uk by chimex38(op):
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) and Taylor & Francis Group are delighted to announce Dr. Chigozie Utazi as the winner of the 2018 Taylor & Francis Commonwealth Scholar Best Journal Article Prize, for his article High resolution age-structured mapping of childhood vaccination coverage in low and middle income countries, published in Vaccine in 2018.
SDG 3 - Good health and well-being
Sustainable Development Goal 3 supports the research and development of vaccines and medicines for the communicable and non-communicable diseases that primarily affect developing countries.

Chigozie is a 2010 Commonwealth Scholar from Nigeria. He studied for a PhD Statistics at the University of Manchester and Lancaster University. His article assesses the performance of improved access to childhood vaccination programmes in low- and middle-income countries. Indicators of vaccination programmes, including coverage levels and vaccination numbers, are typically measured through national or regional statistics, which mask epidemiologically relevant heterogeneities and coverage ‘coldspots’, that may lead to sustained disease prevalence, despite high overall coverage levels. Funded by the Gates Foundation, in conjunction with WHO and Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, this work forms part of the evidence base to guide the design and implementation of vaccination programmes in high-burden countries.

Following the publication of his research, Chigozie and fellow researchers are continuing to scale up their work, applying the techniques presented in the article to mapping the coverage of childhood vaccinations in other low- and middle-income countries in Africa and Asia. The team are also developing an open web visualisation tool that will host country-specific output maps to increase the accessibility of the data gathered. It is hoped that the sharing of this data will support the work of other researchers and inform stakeholders and government policy makers.
The 2018 competition received over 50 entries from current doctoral Commonwealth Scholars and Commonwealth Alumni. The winner was chosen by a panel of experts drawn from multidisciplinary backgrounds: Professor Jonathan Wastling (Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of Natural Science at Keele University); Professor Mark Cleary (former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bradford); Dr Jennie Robinson (CSC Commissioner and Divisional Director of Student Education at Leeds University Business School); and Sandy Balfour (current Commissioner and former CEO, Canon Collins Educational and Legal Assistance Trust).
The Taylor & Francis Commonwealth Scholar Best Journal Article Prize is awarded to a Commonwealth Scholar who submits the most outstanding article published in a peer-reviewed journal. This annual prize, first awarded in 2012, aims to encourage and reward the publication achievements of Commonwealth Scholars who are completing or have recently completed their doctoral studies.

It doesn't matter who stole the money.

Think of it this way,
3 guys
Mr Creditor has 500naira in his pocket,
Mr Debtor owes Mr Creditor 100naira,
Mr Thief is just some random guy looking for money to steal and knows neither the creditor nor the debtor.

If Mr Thief stole N500 from Mr Creditor, Mr Thief won't come back to give Mr Creditor the N500 and ask for change, they have no business together what is he paying for? If Mr debtor then walks up to Mr Creditor and hands him N100, the creditor has received his 100 naira back in his pocket now. So the only thing he lost is the 500 Mr thief took.
Hmmm.. ur perspective here is intriguing.

If it was never paid and he assumes it has been paid, then he still has a loss of 100, add that to the initial 400 = 500
Yeah true.. Buh in terms of the physical cash he was carrying, its #400...
RomanceRe: Test Your IQ With This!! (photo) by chimex38: 8:28pm On Jun 08, 2018
He lost #400..+ a payback of #100

Assume Mr. A was was walking to school with a single #500 note and 2 pieces of #200(=#400).. making a total of #900 in his pocket...

The single #500 fell out, which Mr.B picked up..
Mr.A is now left with 2 pieces of #200 note (=#400)..
Mr. B gives Mr. A back the single #500 note.
Mr. A gives Mr. B the 2 pieces of #200 note(=#400)

Mr. A then keeps walking to schl with same initial single #500 note only.
Therefore, Mr.A has lost the 2 pieces of #200 note(=#400) which he had alongside the single #500 note on his way to schl initially.. While also assuming a "false" payback of #100 cash which was neva paid..
